Obviously, BBB dispute resolution did not work, so I was offered the opportunity to participate in arbitration with a mediator. I gave it some thought and chose not to proceed. I really wanted to participate and I believe that I would have prevailed, but some circumstances had arisen that demanded my attention for the next several months. I also decided that life is too short to spend any more time than I already had on negative activities dealing with negative people. I would rather focus on something more positive knowing that what comes around goes around and eventually POP will get what they deserve. Plus, I was so creeped out by the knowledge that Davina had posed as me on more than one occasion (associates at the company where I purchased the faucet also informed me that she had posed as me). I was so shocked I wondered what else she was capable of - and I didn?t want to find out. Who can blame me for that? Regarding the faucet purchase, I had POP out to repair a faucet, which I showed Don and he said they could do. When Rodney came out, he said we needed a new one. Don gave me a quote for the installation and told me to purchase a faucet, which I did. I also purchased a couple of matching accessories (robe hook and towel bar). I decided to get one more estimate for the faucet install and learned that the faucet could be repaired with $20 worth of parts. I returned the faucet and matching accessories and incurred the restocking fee, which I felt POP should pay. I had the faucet repaired by POP?s competitor and saved a great deal of money, but was still out the $79 restocking fee. I never would have purchased any of those items if POP wouldn?t have told me to purchase a new faucet, which I didn?t need. It is not true that it took several requests to provide the receipts, in fact, I provided them before they were even requested, prompting POP to report in writing to the BBB that I had "taken it upon myself" to provide information which they had not requested - a direct quote. When faxed copies were not good enough, I immediately mailed copies. In fact, I offered the receipts before getting BBB involved, but POP did not want them. Please remember there are 2 sides to every story, and I have learned that there is no limit to what this company will do to be right. I have been a homeowner for over 23 years and also owned rental property for 13 years. I have had to hire others to do a great deal of maintenance in that time, and have never before (or since) filed a complaint with the BBB. It is interesting to note that POP accuses me of making defamatory and slanderous statements. Yet in her response she calls me a liar and says I?m dishonest. Go figure. And mine is not the first complaint they have received. The tally of disputes is only for the past 12 months.

Workers arrived on time and work was done to my satisfaction.

They did the work, contracted for in a very timely manner. Work was done high quality. Communication was good.

I found them honest and reliable. They are dependable. To me honesty means a lot. I don't have to keep my eye on them while they work.

Since the work was outside and weather dependent, Don called me frequently to let me know when he hoped to get the work done. They ended up doing the work on a Sunday due to the nice weather that day.

Don Britton was very responsive to my call, got an estimate back to me via email within 48 hours and we scheduled the work within the following week. Everything was completed to our satisfaction and they even repaired more cracks than were in the original estimate for the same price. We were quite satisfied with the results. Also, someone from their office called us a few days after the job was completed to make sure we were happy with the work.

Assembled it in 2 1/2 hrs. and did a good job.

Don's employees were all very professional in their demeanor and respectful when at work. Don called us most mornings to give us an update on what to expect each day of the project and would then check in with us at the end of the day to assess how things went. Impressive!!

They explained exactly how they would do the project. The owner did the estimate. He came out with the man who did the work to introduce him to me. There were only two studs in the wall by the tub! Use them. Keep up the good work.

Careful preparation on determining what I wanted constructed. Don and his workers followed through in a timely fashion.

They were very good at the work, they were very helpful, and I had to call them back after the home inspection to do some other work that was unforeseen. The quality of the work was good and the price was reasonable.

I'd use them again. They were friendly & professional. They did a good job for me.

I THOUGHT BOTH HE AND HIS WIFE PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE. WE JUST DIDN'T GO WITH THEM AT THIS TIME.

I liked the fact that they charge you for an estimate, because they give you considerable info and you aren't morally obligated to use them. They also, deduct that fee if you have the work done. The work was very satisfactory. The workmen didn't always show up, when I expected them to, but they got it done (even though the weather was problematic). These people take the trouble to satisfy the customer.

I was really impressed with their work ethic. I have recommended them to others. They did a remarkable job on other work for us as well!

I left the message on 10/4/2006 and they called me back on 10/9/2006 after I had already hired someone to do the job. The woman who called said they were on vacation and that's why it took them so long to call me back.

These guys came out to look at an attic fan. The handyman spent fifteen minutes looking at the fan and he made a slight bend to a fan blade. The next day the fan stopped working. I called the company and explained that the fan was broken again and mentioned that I thought it was imbalanced. I requested another service call because the first one only lasted fifteen minutes. The rep said that the fan "just took a dump", basically claiming that the motor failed because it was old. I was really disappointed in this response, so I explained that I felt dissatisfied by the nature of the first service call due to the short time spent at my property and because the fan broke again a mere 24 hours after adjustment. The reply from the company was that the motor failed, and they gave me a downright refusal to even check if the motor was broken, which was all I wanted. The reason given was that they had already paid to send someone out.

They did an excellent job all the way around! My in ital call was returned promptly and the appointment for the estimate and work were scheduled at my convenience. Don arrived with Rodney and Jim and explained the work to be done. They were fast, efficient and a pleasure to work with. I will, without reservation, contact the staff at Punch Out Plus to help me with other home repairs and projects!

Fine workmanship - their people knew what they were doing. Very professional.

I was very, very impressed with this company. They were timely in getting out to give me an estimate and perform the work, and did a great job. Best of all "however", is that they had great communication. The owner called me to let me know he was running late, even though it was only by 10 minutes. He provided me with a contract exactly when he said he would and followed up the day after the job was completed to make sure that it was to my satisfaction. I will definitely use them again.

They aim to please. They were very satisfactory. They are coming back to put a screen in the porch for me.

I do not go in the room much but I have not noticed any leaking since then. They were very good.

Don is just a wonderful guy. I got him through Angie's List and have been extremely pleased. Good price and very courteous.
