PAINTED DREAMS

I remodeled kitchen, and considered new cabinets until I started pricing them. I decided to have someone faux paint them a 'distressed wood' look. Eric was the second person I had bid the job, and he diplomatically and appropriately suggested colors during the estimate stage that totally made sense for this space. He did a great job, the cabinets look fabulous and truly look like cabinets you would see in a restored farm house kitchen. They are a beige brown for top coat, "show-thru" color is caramel. Eric applied a substance to give a "crackle/ old" look, and the subtle glaze he applied in the last process really highlighted all the distress look I was trying to achieve. His work was exactly what I wanted and I was so glad he had the color suggestion that we went with. My color idea would have been awful! I would highly recommend Eric for any faux painting or any painting in general. I gave him access to my house when I was not there, he is totally trustworthy.

THE CLOUDS LOOK INCREDIBLE. I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW LIFE -LIKE THEY LOOKED, AND IT TOOK HIM NO TIME TO COMPLETE THEM. HE OBVIOUSLY IS TRULY GIFTED AS AN ARTIST, AND IS IN THE RIGHT BUSINESS. HE PAINTED THE CLOUDS COMPLETELY FREE - FORM WITHOUT SKETCHING OR WORKING FROM A PROJECTION MACHINE. ADDITIONALLY, HE PLACED SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF AIRPLANES RANDOMLY THROUGHOUT THE CLOUDS INCLUDING A BI-PLANE WHICH IS OVER MY SON'S BED WITH A BANNER STREAMING FROM THE BACK WITH HIS NAME ON IT. MY SON LOVES HIS NEW ROOM. I HAVE ASKED ERIC TO COME BACK AND DO A FAUX EFFECT IN MY BREAKFAST NOOK, AS WELL.

WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE DIFFERENCE THAT WE FEEL WHEN WE STEP INTO OUR KITCHEN AREA. ERIC LISTENED TO OUR GOAL OF WANTING TO CREATE COLORS THAT WOULD MAKE THE PERSON IN THE KITCHEN FEEL GOOD ABOUT BEING IN THE ROOM. EXCELLENT WORK!
