hardscaping, chimney repair
+ 0 moreWeather caused a few delays but they finally came out on a Saturday. Did not get a call that they were coming but we where here. The crew was friendly and worked hard. They said it would take 2 hours after putting up scaffolding but the repairs were harder then they anticipated so it took 5 hours. They replaced 40 bricks, cleaned out bad mortar, put new mortar and tuck pointed it. The work looks good. It took so long they could not rinse off but next rain will make it look better. There was lots of falling brick on the driveway. They swept up and put most in the trash. Minor issue was that they did sweep and hose some into the mulch bed which I had to vacuum up with a shop vac. Only took 5 mins. Overall very good and I would hire again.
Description of Work: The chimney top is almost 3 stories up and after all the cold last winter many brick faces popped off. They replaced bricks and tuck pointed chimney.
