Very well done. Neat. Cleaned up after their work. Explained what they had done. Replaced a broken bulb in the microwave at no charge. It was very cold and they moved my car for me so I did not have to go outside while they worked in the garage. Price matched the estimate. They ran late due to an emergency call, but they called to advise of the delay. They arrived promptly at the adjusted time.

Powers Electric installed a whole house generator for us. They were here on time and did the work just like we had planned and left the work area cleaned up. We have had one power outage since and are happy with the results. We had some unusual requirements and they were happy to work with us to complete them as needed. Since then we have had them do some inside electrical work and were very happy with that as well. Next spring we are planning on using them again for some outside electrical rewiring.

Dan and Andrew from Powers Electric have been working on and off for the past several weeks on my basement remodeling job. They are both extremely personable and trustworthy. They not only did the electrical work but Dan also provided invaluable suggestions on lighting placement and configuration. He and Andrew have been very patient and tolerant of our numerous change requests. I would definitely use Powers Electric again and I would hope to have these two individuals do the work.

This contractor did a great job. Returned initial phone call in 1 hour. Came out a quoted job on same day. Scheduled the job 10 days out. Mike showed up right on time. Had to run new service line from overhead drop, replace meter box, replace main panel in garage, rewire everything. Work was performed in less than ideal circumstances... 10-15 degree temperatures outside. They completed a quality job, Cleaned up, and communicated well. Very pleased with the work.

Mike was nice, explained what he was doing and fix the problem. Simple problem for him I'm sure, but big problem for me if it wasn't fixed before the holidays.

It was awesome! Mike was knowledgeable, polite, neat courteous and swift. I purchased led lighting, he knew exactly how and what to do. He had parts on his truck. Sure wish more contractors were as thorough and good as his work. I know it was a small job, but will definitely use on the larger stuff!

They were great. The other companies I looked into gave me a much higher price. This company confirmed my wiring did not need to be replaced. They were very honest, which I respected. They were very clean and took care of everything.

Powers did great , from the time of estimate to completing the job. We were impressed with the team and will use them again

When I tried to contact to schedule the service, my texts and voice messages were never responded to (over a week and a half of attempts on my part.) Can't believe it is that hard to give somebody business, but in the end I'd rather find this lack of responsiveness out before the job rather than after I was already committed to them. Buyer beware.

We had two outdoor fixtures swapped for motion sensing fixtures and a GFCI outlet added to the outside of the garage for the bird bath heater. He arrived at the agreed upon time and I was surprised and impressed at how quickly everything was completed. I would definitely recommend highly.

Both installers were extremely nice and professional. They had to cut new holes for the can lights and consulted me on location and spacing before doing so. They also advised me on newer undercabinet lighting which I appreciated. Would definitely use them again

Mike responded to my request for service immediately, scheduled an appointment that met my availability; showed up on time; had all the parts on his truck; performed the service immediately. Perfect interaction - A+++

Job went wonderfully. Mike (owner) and Dan were super to work with. Showed up when they said they would, did what they agreed to. Very pleasant - even my dog liked having them there. If there was any problem, the corrected it without complaint (only problem was the location of a light that they added in the basement - the location they chose put it right in the way of anyone walking in the low-ceiling basement. They were very understanding and moved it to the side without protest.) Timing wise, they did the rough in work, then said to call them once my drywall and painting was done and they'd be out to finish. Well, drywall took much longer than anticipated (months!), but once done I called them for the finish work and they put me on the schedule 3 days later.

He was fantastic to work with! He came to complete the assessment on the same day and, luckily for me, within an hour of receiving the call. He was patient and reassuring as he identified all of the areas that had received damage following the lightening strike. He will be returning this week to complete repairs on some of the areas that were damaged.

Mike was able to come out the same day I called and had the problem fixed within 1/2 hour.

This company was the greatest. Mike made suggestions without overselling. they worked continuous until finished. Always asked for my opinion on placement of lights and outlets. Were very cautious of old wall plaster and advised me it might crack; however, it did not due to their caution. Respected me even though senior citizen with lots of questions with order changes. The price was reasonable. They tolerated my barking dog. All the workers were very professional. Thanks for making this experience easy for me.

We've used Powers Electric numerous times for electrical work in our home. The property was a foreclosure and was neglected and vacant for 5+ years. We had no knowledge of the house's history and have used Powers for a wide variety of electrical issues, including a master bedroom/bathroom renovation, a hall bath renovation, installation of a large foyer chandelier, and now for our kitchen remodel. I like Powers, because I can trust them to do a good job, keep everything to code, clean up, and to be in my house alone if I cannot be there the entire time. They are honest, reliable, and courteous! Great people!

They were responsive from the start and gave me a quote that same evening the estimator came out. Mike answered my questions about the quote quickly and we were able to get the work scheduled within a week. They were on time and worked without complaint. The guys were very nice and were always willing to answer any questions I had. They consulted with me several times about can light placement and were extremely patient with that process - so much so that there are no drywall repairs needed except where old fixtures were located! As far as pricing goes, they were very competitive with most other quotes I got and I felt I got a fair deal. I will definitely call Powers Electric in the future (and we already have more work to do).

Mike installed 19 outlets and a new keyless light. He answered all my questions during the quote process, which were many. He and his crew were able to knock almost everything out in one day. They did have to come back the next morning to finish up the last outlet, but we had planned on two days anyway. He and his team were very courteous and worked quickly.

Work was easily scheduled over the phone. Electricians showed up promptly at the agreed time. They completed the work quickly and professionally. Both guys were very polite and they explained everything that needed done. I will likely use Powers electric in the future.

This is the third time we have hired Powers Electric. They do a professional job every time. I feel 100% confident recommending them to anyone who needs an electrician. They are the best!

Dan and sidekick (sorry, can't recall your name) were on time, efficient, professional, quiet, friendly, no mess. When we ran into a bit of a snag regarding the kitchen ceiling fan and the dimmer switch (caused an annoying hum from the fan motor) we discussed solutions, they came up with options and we chose one that was perfectly fine with me and it worked! P.S.: I don't usually give A's on pricing (unless it's free). I think this was pretty reasonable for the time the guys spent. Quality + price = value and that's what I got!

I had a gas line installed by Specialty & Gas House on Friday, 3/15 and I didn't know until then that I would need a 110 line to plug in the gas stove. Since I wanted to start using the stove right away, I went to Angie's List to find electricians who work on Saturdays. Powers Electric is one of the few electricians who have Saturday hours, so that is why I called them. Mike was very personable and obviously very knowledgeable. He came out Saturday morning and handled our project without having to cut an additional hole in the wall to install a new outlet, by converting our 220 line behind the stove to a 110 line. My husband and I were very pleased with the work. The install went quickly and Mike was very professional and personable. And the price was much lower than I was quoted by larger electrical companies (some of which don't work on Saturdays). My husband and I will definitely call Powers Electric again for any future electrical projects.

He did what we asked him to do. He even pointed out what went wrong with the original exhaust fan. I double checked with all other exhaust fan to make sure it is functioning correctly.

This is a first rate company, I called them in the morning and they were able to come out the same day. On the phone they were extremely polite and asked relevant questions. They sent 2 electricians for my minor problems and fixed the issue quickly - they worked in the room next to where my daughter was sleeping and they didn't wake her up. Some of my issues were with my outside outlets were in need of repair/replaced and they fixed those and recommended I have them replaced at a later date. Cost was very reasonable and we will have them out again soon to put up better outside outlet and covers as well as have them fix a couple other minor issues our new house has. I also didn't have to ask them to apply my Angie's List discount, the bill clearly had that already figured. Seriously these guys are good!
