Description of Work: They converted a receptacle for the dryer from 240v to 120v since the house we moved into had an electric dryer hookup and I have a gas dryer. Put in a ceiling light and fan. Put in 2 new outlets and finished two receptacles in the basement and tied conductors into the panel. |Great service, did not get anything dirty and cleaned up the minimal dust. |I would not use anyone else.

Description of Work: Powers Electric built, wired (including putting new boxes in the ceilings), and installed four ceiling fans. The two men did a fantastic job. The ceiling fans are perfectly balanced, everything was cleaned and put back in place, and they were unobtrusive and very nice as they were coming in and out. I will be using Powers Electric as often as I need electrical work done.

Description of Work: We had a light and ceiling fan (and switches) installed in an upstairs bedroom that did not have electric in the ceiling. Not only did they do a great job but they had to make a second trip back to the house later that evening because the fixture to be installed was in the vehicle my husband took to work that day. I would definitely use them again.

He is very responsive, fitting us in quickly and helping us stay on schedule exactly. He and his team are some of the most professional contractors we've worked with. This was one of the easiest parts of our remodel thanks to Mike. Will definitely use him again for the rest of our electrical needs! Thank you so much!

Description of Work: An incorrect and faulty circuit breaker was replaced by a more reliable and approopriate one. A circuit on our electric panel kept going off for no known reason. We called three electricians but only one returned our call--the one we found on Angie's list after we decided to join. We left a message at 9 am, had a call back at noon and the problem was fixed by four pm. The electrician was fast, friendly and thorough in his explanation of why this was happening so we now know it won't happen again--but we will call him again if we have another electrical problem. We highly recommend this company! A circuit on our electric panel kept going off for no apparent reason. The circuit controlled my husband's recliner among other lights. Since he had just come home from the hospital, my husband really needed the recliner. I called at nine in the morning and got voicemail, eft a message, and received an answe by noon. The problrm was fixed by four. I'd call thaT IMMEDIATE RESPONSE. The other electicians withwhome I also left messages never called back. Of course they were not o Angie's list. And, the coupon good on this great service paid for half my membership. +

Description of Work: I asked mike to review my electrical service for capacity to add central air. He was prompt in arriving when he promised. He also advised me that I had adequate service to add the air without increasing my service. I really appreciated the fact that he was honest in his advice and did not try to sell me service which I didn't need.. I offered to pay for his time but he refused dsaying that this was just part of his service. I would'nt hesitate to use Mike

Description of Work: I called on Monday left a voice mail and received a call back within minutes. Mike fit me into their schedule and came the very next day. The responsiveness and professionalism was outstanding. He was extremely honest in telling me what had to be done and what didn't. He replaced room outlets, a switch and checked our flood light which he tightened and said it was in good condition and didn't need to be replaced. Like I said that is being honest and fair with his customers. I would highly recommend this company for any type of work anyone has.
