Terrible. Tree needs to be replaced, since they didn't dig the tree into the ground. Instead, they threw soil over it and hoped it would grow. The root ball was showing and continues to show (thus tree needs to be replaced) Retaining wall they build also collapsed and fell over. Terrible company, terrible service, and waste of money. Please avoid them whatever you do...… You'll be glad you did!!
Terrible. Over 8k spent on the job. The wall they built collapsed in less than 5 years. No drain was installed behind the wall and needless to say it all collapsed. Obviously, a company doing this for a living or career would know this is obvious to do. Clearly they lack expertise, workmanship and quality. I beg anyone to read this to please reconsider the for any work. You will get crappy service, quality and rip offed. Please do yourself a favor and avoid headaches, rework, and loss of money due to incompetent or second hand work.

Over the last several years we have used Frazier Landscaping to do edge, mulch and bed clean up and the service has been good. Adam Spencer, the owner, is a pleasure to work with. This year we expanded and used Frazier to build a retaining wall in the front of our home to surround a bed and large maple tree. The quality and overall engagement was great. They were there on time, finished when expected and did an overall GREAT job. Since working from home during this time I spent a lot of time watching the crew. I can’t stress enough how meticulous they were leveling the wall and ensuring each and every block was plumb and solidly anchored. The crew, Wayne and Storm were friendly, accommodating, and attentive to details. I would not hesitate to recommend Frazier to anyone and will certainly call on them for future needs.

We needed extensive mulching of our property as well as grading away from our house in some areas which was causing water to get to close to the foundation. Additionally, all of our mulch beds needed edging as mulch had been pouring on to the walkways around the house from years of neglect. The guys doing the work were fantastic and it looks great. In an area of our property that is close to a neighbor they also made sure to explain to the neighbor exactly what they were doing. This is the second time I've used Frazier's in the last three years and once again we are extremely pleased.

It went really well; Adam is incredibly knowledgeable - he could teach a class on landscaping! It was a little pricey for me ($3,000), but that may be because I'm cheap! Anyway, the work was done quickly and with high quality. So, I'd hire them again!

Adam was on time, responsive and his crew did a great job. Starting with his initial appointment, we had the estimates when promised, work was done when scheduled and great results. He had an excellent knowledge of plants and was able to choose ones that suited our setting plus offer great ideas for the layout. I can't wait for Spring to see the full results! The deck replacement was done well and he also had suggestions for changes in the bench seating that improved the overall look and utility. His price was competitive and there were no surprises. Very happy!

In all the years I have used Angie's List for Contractor selection, I have never experienced such poor workmanship and lack of professionalism as I did with Frazier's Landscape Company. I contacted Adam (the owner) at Frazier's to get an estimate for tree trimming and was pleased with Adam's knowledge and professionalism. For that reason, I hired Frazier's even though their quote was a bit higher than the other Contractors I contacted for quotes. What I wasn't expecting was the following: 1) On May 16th my scheduled day for Frazier's I waited all day for their arrival. They were a no show on that day with no call from Frazier's explaining why or even to reschedule. 2) However, the next morning around 9:00 I receive a call from Frazier's workers stating that they were at my house and were waiting outside with questions for me concerning the large tree I contracted for trimming (I'm just glad I'm retired and was home at the time of their unexpected arrival). 3) Since the cost of having my 160 foot tree trimmed was quoted at $360.00 I figured it was because extra equipment would be required to trim such a tall tree. Nope, no extra equipment was brought onsite to reach the tall branches, just a long handled miniature chain saw contraption. The same chain saw contraption that was used to trim my trees that were 1/3 the size of my 160 foot tree. Now, I'm no expert with tree trimming, but I would have expected them to at least bring something that takes their feet off the ground to trim a 160 foot tree. 4) With that said, the tree trimming guy said that there were branches he couldn't reach to trim without having the proper equipment. So the quote I was given for cutting branches up to 30' high on my 160 foot tree for $360 could not be done because their chainsaw on a stick contraption couldn't reach up 30 feet to trim the branches. What? 5) After that tree was discussed I should have cancelled the job because I had the feeling things weren't going to get better with this job, but I didn't. As far as the rest of the trees, it was just a guy yielding a chainsaw contraption going at it with no precision. Honestly, I could have had my husband do what he did using the long handled tree trimming device I bought at Mendards. It could reach just as high as their chainsaw contraption and I could have saved myself $578.00 In fact, I think my husband would have done a better job, but I thought I was paying for someone with some expertise in tree trimming. Wrong! 6) After an hour or so, they were done. As they departed, I relayed my disappointment with their finished work and expected a follow-up call from Adam with his concerns regarding my dissatisfaction with the work performed. Nope, no call. After a couple of weeks with no follow-up call from Adam. I texted a message to Frazier's with my disappointment in the work performed, the no show, etc. and was expecting at least a credit or a follow-up for making things right. All I got was a phone call from the Office Manager stating they were sorry I wasn't satisfied with the job and as far as their no show on 5/16th, they can't guarantee arrival on the scheduled day if the past weather has put them behind schedule. After conversing with the Office Manager and a follow-up on their Facebook page with a comment stating all of the above complaints, I figured with all that, Adam would finally give me a call and at least try to redeem his Company's reputation. Nope, again no call. It's been two months since I had my trees trimmed and since my check wasn't cashed for the services until last week , I assumed, even though I didn't get any follow-up calls, that Adam knew my job dissatisfaction was justified. No, they cashed the check last week and now I feel sick spending that much money on a job that wasn't done right to begin with and as you can see from the attached pictures it doesn't even look at though the trees were trimmed and it's only been two months. Being retired on a fixed income with kids in college, $578.00 it a lot of money to my family and having to pay that amount again to have a job repeated is just not right. Shame on you Adam for knowingly taking money for a job that wasn't performed as contracted and shame on you for not following-up with customers justified complaints.

Hi [Member Name Removed], Please let us know if you ever have any issues or are unhappy with any aspect our the work performed. We only planted a few plants to begin with It looks like, but all shrubs come with a 1 year warranty and we would be more then happy to replace any of them that didn't make it from last season. As far as the plant selection, we have a nursery license and go to one of the biggest nurseries in the state. The plant size is determined by the growers who normally ship a lot of plant material to our local nurseries from out of state. We cherry pick the best plants every single time! Every shipment can vary in size within the same plant sometimes. We would have been more then happy to replace any material you didn't feel was adequate when another shipment was available and or warranty them if they burnt up last summer. It is common for a lot of newly planted vegetation to get burnt up in the middle of the summer months. We try to emphasize the importance of watering adequately, especially throughout the summer months with the heat and periods without rain or they will dry up and die.

I hired Adam and team to reseed my front yard. The presale process was great and the quote was competitive so I chose his company. They came out on time and the team was friendly. It wasn't until about a month after the work was completed that the problems began. I noticed that, although much of the grass had germinated and grown several inches, there were still quite a few few bare spots and quite a bit of new grass in my landscaping beds. I assumed that, since it was a very windy day when they planted the seed (over 25MPH), the seed had blown from the bare areas into the landscape beds. I reached out to the company and asked that they come and drop some more seed on the bare areas. I was told that there would be a service fee for the trip. When I protested, I was told that wind had nothing to do with the bare spots. Regardless of the reason, I had a newly seeded lawn with bare spots and expected some level of post sale engagement. I was then accused of not paying my bill and told that I needed to pay a late fee even though they had cashed my check in full almost a month prior. When I provided proof of payment, I was told that they forgot to check me off the list when they cashed the check. I understand clerical errors happen but a professional would be 100% sure of their facts before insulting their customer by accusing them of not paying. Mistakes can happen in any transaction, it's how a company responds that tell you the most about how they conduct business and view their customers.

Good morning [Member Name Removed], You are absolutely right, and we agree 100% After the over seeding we performed we would be more than happy to follow up with you this season again. It takes time for a brand new lawn to establish completely and hopefully throughout the fall season it grew in especially after the overseeing we came out to perform to ensure a lush and full lawn. The last thing we want if for our customers to be unhappy or for a project to not be perfect. Please give us a call this season at your convenience and we will come out and address the lawn and make sure we get you tip top! thanks again, Adam

Adam seemed to be a nice guy very responsive at first. After services were performed there were still large stones and metal pieces in the yard. What they did clean up was never removed from the lot, just pushed into the woods. I contacted and was told the lot had a lot of debris and they couldn't get it all (that was not mentioned in the quote). I called back about reshaping the beds because they were not what was discussed with the owner (much larger and not defined). I had this conversation with Adam prior to Oct 20th, I was told they would be out the next week. Company has not been out to correct the issue, it is now mid December.

Good morning [Member Name Removed], Im sorry you felt that way about the yard grading and installation. I know you hired us to grade and rockhound the entire lot once the builders had the general grade in. Once the lot was ready for us, there was 2 trailer loads of nothing but trash and construction material and debris. We removed 1 entire trailer load during our initial tilling and grading of your property. You had over an acre property so there was a lot. This is something that should be taken up with your builder and his excavation team that left the debris in the soil to begin with. Its not supposed to be there. In addition to the trailer of trash we hauled out we also cleared out a big space around both of your leech beds and along the perimeter of your property line because you asked us to when we began the work. We didn't charge anything extra for the clearing or the extra space to be graded and seeded, we also didn't charge you for the trailer load of trash we had to take to the dump. We are a landscaping company and we explained that we can only take out yard waste and organic material. That being said, when you called to let us know about more construction material and debris that was exposed, as the rain washed the soil off the top of it. We had no way of knowing it was underneath. the soil? We still came back out again though and took another trailer load of trash and straight debris out of your property at no charge to you. That was all to try to go above and beyond and all that work was never contracted nor charged to you. We would have completed any or all additional work you would like to have done, we just need to have you hire and contract us to do so.

I've used them twice. I used them last year and then this June. And I fired them after this June. Compared to the landscaper I now use it was much more expensive. Last year I had them just do landscaping, but this year I also discussed with them initiating mowing our lawn in addition to the landscaping that I had set up. A week before they were doing the landscaping they were supposed to come mow and they never showed up. So I contacted them the week that they were supposed to show up, on Thursday or Friday for the landscaping; I contacted them that Monday a little worried because they didn't show up to mow. They said, they would be there this week and would mow this week and do the landscaping. They didn't send out enough workers. I had to have them come back multiple times to complete the work. The work that they did they just did the front yard when we're paying them to do the front and back. They were there very late at night, like nine o'clock at night, trying to finish up because there was only one poor guy working. They'd tell me on Thursday when they came that the mowing guy would be here tomorrow. So then I'd call them on Friday to finish the work and then they'd come back. And they'd say the mowing guy will be here today, we promise. I was having a large family function on Saturday which he had known about. I had told him directly about it and emailed him to remind him that we needed the lawn mowed and landscaping done so I could have this family function outside. Friday night rolled around and still nobody had showed up to mow. So now it had been two weeks since the yard had been mowed so the yard is a disaster. We're calling them frantically now on Saturday and nobody was coming, and nobody was answering. Finally I sent him another email, because the landscapers kept insisting that they would be here. I asked him what was going on and probably about ten minutes later he said someone would be out there within the hour. So now it's two o'clock in the afternoon and our party is starting and they are showing up to mow. We had them mow the back yard first and then had them go to the front, and then the far back. But their mowing as people are trying to park their cars. They left portions of the yard unmowed, maybe because cars were parked there. But then they didn't come back to finish it. Nobody said anything. I was actually surprised they sent me a bill for the lawn mowing as a separate fee from the landscaping. Their attention to detail on the weeding was really poor. I told him it wasn't up to the standards of the work he had done the year prior. I said I'd pay the lawn mowing fee but I'm not going to have you guys come out and mow my yard anymore. I attached some pictures of the landscaping in our yard where there were big areas of weeds still that they had just left. I said this is the work that your people are doing. He never responded to that email either. He never once said he was sorry I had the experience. He just didn't respond at all to my email.

I can't say enough about the work that was performed. Adam got back to us immediately after I called him. He came out and unlike other companies not only did he do a thorough evaluation on site, he sat down and figured out all costs that same day. We didn't have to wait for an estimate. Additionally, he made some great recommendations about the type of pavers to use keeping in mind our budget. He offered some exciting ways in which we could accent the pavers and make them pop by using a different paver as a border for the patio. Adam also helped us figure out how to keep water from running off onto the pavers from nearby beds by building two small retaining walls. The employees who came and worked on the patio were courteous and they worked hard. Adam was out as well working with them to get the job done. Due to weather the project was delayed a couple of days but none of this was Frazier's fault. We could not be happier with the finished product. In fact, I can't stop admiring it. In terms of the two trees Adam took time to examine both and come up with a fair price and an evaluation of what we needed to do. Overall I loved our experience with Adam's company and wholeheartedly recommend them if you need your yard landscaped or other work done. The before and after shots don't do justice to the work they did but will give you an idea.
Description of Work: Our patio was quite simply a mess. The pavers were uneven and had been painted an ugly salmon color. The pavers were angled toward the house which was clearly not good for the foundation. We needed help. We also needed a tree trimmed that was growing out of control against our house and a cherry tree wrapped that had sustained some type of trauma during it's life.
