So-so. While the home is beautiful and we are pleased with the quality, we would not recommend this builder. He nickle and dimes (not unsurprisingly, but it was tedious and excessive), delivers a nice product while cutting corners with his subcontractors and by not doing providing things for (sub)contractors (e.g., portapotty). His vendors (for appliances and fixtures, etc) often did not offer competitive prices for their products. House was not completed in a timely manner either.

Response from DIANGELO CUSTOM HOMES
All my ex's live in Texas :) - Is it a bad review when the byline states "the home is beautiful and we are pleased with the quality" ??? Delaware County Auditor's site will confirm Member sold their JiAngelo home for $X four years later, in November 2008, during a recession when several of their neighbors, who didn't build with JiAngelo were selling their homes for $50,000 - $100,000 less than their original purchase price. Unfortunately, requesting numerous change orders can delay a project and even though they only executed 20 of the change orders requested, a higher final price than the original estimate seems.... well.... obvious. The house was completed shortly after the Maestro ceased submitting change order requests. Their service list dated April 26, 2005 has only 11 items incomplete (3 of which were newly discovered.) Perhaps Member's simply not good at recognizing nice guys - or... in October she was stressed out, having moved down to Texas 5 months earlier when Member changed jobs and was simply worried that their house in Ohio wasn't going to sell during 2008's recession... (You gotta love google!) Nevertheless, know that if they ever move back to Ohio, We'll build Member another beautiful, quality pleasing home, because that's what nice guys do.
