Description of Work: This was the best company I have ever worked with. They did what they said and they finished a day earlier that they said. The comunication was alsome.

Description of Work: Jim, the Sales Rep from Ohio Exteriors came to my home on the time we agreed upon. Jim was polite and informative in looking at my attic. When finished looking at the attic area to be insulated, he provided me an estimate for over $1200.00. I was quite surprised at this. My assumption was that the $99 A.L. Deal that I purchased would cover the entire amount of extra insulation that he would add to my attic. I have bought several A.L. Deals with no problems or "hidden" costs. I felt like he was up selling me but he explained that there was "fine print" that I must have missed that states that the deal I bought for $99 was only towards the TOTAL job price that is different for each customer. I guess I understand that but thought it needed to be explained more clearly in the A.L. Deal and not at the bottom of the page in FINE PRINT. Please refund my $99 asap.

Description of Work: I responded to the 99.00 for up to 500.00 of insulation. They responded promptly on Monday which I made an appointment for the up coming Friday which Bill was on time. He inspected the work and ventilation. He said ventilation was good, I picked the R49 . Workers were on time and work was done in less than 3 hours. Insulation was put on the attic for the entire house. Workers cleaned up well. They also sealed up the 3 gable vents which were not done when I had my roof done.

Description of Work: I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. He did come on time looked the roof over and said he did not have the best ladder to get up higher so someone else would come at the end of the week and look it over. Then he would call me back and give an estimate. About a week and half went by and no contact from Ohio Exteriors. So I called the gentleman who came by. He seemed to have forgotten and told me he would call the office to set up a time for someone to come by and he would call me right back with the information. He never called and it is now a week later - no contact at all. I am extremely upset about this.

Description of Work: I had received an Angie's List coupon via email from this company to do a roof inspection. I was not home when the service person came to look at my roof .I was told at the time I made the appointment that it was not necessary for me to be home but someone would need to be there. My grandson was home at the time. After the inspection was done, I was told that I would receive an inspection report. I did not receive one. I was told photographs were taken of my roof and they would be sent to me via email with an explanation as to any repairs that would need to be attended to. That did not happen either. My overall rating on this company is C . The price was good and they were punctual. As for responsiveness and professionalism ... both are questionable. I can't say I was pleased or displeased with this company solely because I still have no idea if I need any work done on my roof. I'm assuming "no news is good news" in this situation.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List Deal for roof inspection and repairs for a set amount of time. The representatives of the company were very responsive, punctual and polite. The inspected my roof and nailed down some shingles that were lose. They explained that they caulked over the nails so there would be no leaks. All, in all, I felt I got more than my money's worth. I recommend this company based on my experience.

Description of Work: We bought the 149.00 roof inspection and set up an appointment time. We had just purchased a foreclosed home and there were many things that needed repair. Took time off work to meet them and when they didn't show up I called to find out where they were. Secretary told me they had gone to the wrong address and no one had bothered to call me even though I had left both home and mobile numbers. Rescheduled an appointment, was told they would try to "squeeze me in." When the estimator showed up, he took pictures, said the roof and skylights were basically sound and someone else would have to get back to us on the other work we were interested in having done. After waiting to hear back from Ohio Exteriors and several unreturned phone calls within a two week time period, we opted to cut our loss and hire another contractor for work. The new contractor found that although the roof was sound, both skylights were leaking and in need of replacement, chimney cap also needed replacing, and siding was repaired and replaced in several spots. We have learned a valuable lesson in our dealing with Ohio Exteriors- do NOT pay for work in advance!

Description of Work: We bought an Angies List deal to have our roof checked on our 1890 haus in Merion village and come to find out and after dealing with internal leaks that the roof that was there was not done well and had no venting. They deducted the $199 we spent on deal towards the actual and final cost of getting a whole new roof. We were REALLY pleased with the price and how well it all went!

Description of Work: I have had 2 estimates so far. One from a summer intern then another from one of the employees. Waiting on a quote via email from him now. We will have them do the work, but it hasn't started yet.

Description of Work: The service person inspected the roof, cleaned the gutters and caulked around the vent stacks. He told me the roof was in good shape for its age but said the seals around the vent stacks needed to be replaced but that he caulked around them to seal them for another couple of years. I was later called by someone from the company who asked about my experience. She said a report would be mailed to me however it has been a month and I have yet to receive it. Without that report I cannot say if I received a good deal or not.
