MY CONTINUING DISAPPOINTMENT AND THE DAMAGE TO MY LINOLEUM FLOOR LED ME TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT. I WROTE THEM A LETTER CONCERNING THE PROBLEM WITH MY LINOLEUM FLOOR. ONE OF THE CLEANING LADIES TOLD ME THE MACHINE THEY USE TO CLEAN HAD VERY POWERFUL SUCTION AND SHE WAS AFRAID THE FLOOR WAS GOING TO COME RIGHT OFF. NOW THERE ARE POCKETS OF AIR IN THE FLOORING. ONE OF THE CLEANING PEOPLE TOLD ME SHE WAS AFRAID THAT SHE CAUSED THE PROBLEM WITH THE FLOOR. AFTER 2 WEEKS, THEY STILL HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO MY LETTER. WHEN I DIDN'T HEAR BACK FROM THEM AFTER 2 WEEKS, I FILED A COMPLAINT THROUGH THE BBB AS WELL. THE OWNER DENIED ANY WRONG DOING BY MAID BRIGAID, EVEN BLATANTLY LYING IN PARTS OF THE LETTER AS TO WHAT WAS SAID BY HIS MANAGER ON THE PHONE WITH ME. BESIDES WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE LETTER, THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO PROVE WHAT WAS SAID ON THE PHONE. MY ONLY HOPE IS GETTING THE TERMINATION FEE THEY CHARGED ME FOR CANCELING THE 1-YEAR CONTRACT WHICH THEY DIDN'T HAVE PERMISSION TO DO SO.
Description of Work: HOUSE CLEANING FIRST TIME, & HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS EVERY OTHER WEEK. I WENT WITH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE OF COUPONS RECEIVED IN THE MAIL. I NOW KNOW WHY A COMPANY HAS TO ADVERTISE SO MUCH. THEY WOULDN'T BE GETTING ANY BUSINESS THROUGH WORD OF MOUTH FROM ME. I SIGNED A ONE YEAR CONTRACT TO SAVE $100, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE A PHANTOM DISCOUNT. THEY HAD TO COME BACK BETWEEN VISITS TO CORRECT ISSUES, AND THEY WOULD CLEAN ROOMS THAT WEREN'T IN THE AGREEMENT. IT BOTHERED ME THAT THE HOUSE WASN'T CLEANED THE RIGHT WAY THE FIRST TIME. THEY APPARENTLY HAVE A NO CLEANING IN ROOMS WITH CLOSED DOORS POLICY, WHICH I WAS UNAWARE OF. WHEN I ASKED THEM ABOUT IT THE NEXT TIME THEY CAME OVER, THEY INFORMED ME OF THIS POLICY. BUT WHAT REALLY DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME IS WHY DID THEY GO AHEAD AND CLEAN PART OF THE ROOM ANYWAY IF THEY HAVE A SUCH POLICY. ON TWO OCCASIONS THEY LEFT CLEANING RAGS ON TOP OF MY BUTLERS PANTRY AND A BAG OF GARBAGE ON THE UPSTAIRS CORNER FLOOR, WHICH THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY DENIED.

$100 was waived on the initial cleaning. Clearly indicated in the signed agreement this $100 would be charged if the agreement is terminated before 1 year. Coming back to correct issues: This shows our commitment to superior customer service and how we backup our service with prompt action. Maid Brigade's service is guaranteed. If a customer is not satisfied we dispatch a prompt re-clean free. We did not cause any damage to the customer's linoleum floor based on my experience, the experience of other Maid Brigade owners across the country and most importantly based on the expert opinion of a Pro Team vacuum engineer.
