We've been located in New Albany for seventeen years and we take pride in being good community members and taking excellent care of our customers by standing behind behind everything we sell. I called Genesis Audio to do some work and tie some audio programs together. I couldn't be happier. John Senters did the work personally and was so particular to detail that my husband and I were both impressed with both his knowledge of his trade and the professionalism he displayed. I would highly recommend Genesis Audio for any of your theatre or security needs. Job well done!

Genseis Audio did an outstanding job from start to finish. Couldn't be happier. As will all major systems, there was some tweaking that needed to be completed. Genesis Audio came back several times to address ALL issues. The employess were polite, on time and very professomal. Genesis Audio is a FIRST CLASS operation. If you are looking for a home theater system no matter how small or large do yourself a favor and talk with Genesis Audio. Their showroom is amazing. I would highly recommend Genesis Audio!!!t
Description of Work: I contacted Genesis Audio for a complete home theater package. This included a HD/3D projector, large screen, 7 in wall/ceiling speakers plus a sub, new receiver, dvd player, RTI controller, running of all the needed wiring and power. Software to controll the entire system off my IPAD. Genesis Audio provided several options and recommendations with their quote. They also took the time needed to explain everything in a way I could understand.

The only problems I had was that the builder did not put in the right wires in for HDMI and some of the audio wire were not working or were too short and had to be replaced because of the builder I was told I could not use Genesis Audio for the wiring wish I had. Chuck told me about this and he corrected it. Chuck when doing some wiring work discovered a leak in a pipe that was caused by Flooring installer and he fixed it which would have caused me major trouble years later because it was such a slow leak, He is a also licensed general contractor.
Description of Work: We wanted all of our dvr's DVD Players out of sight in the basement, and we wanted a Major Music and DVD storage to play the very large DVD and CD collection we have. They installed a mass movie and cd system(which can play up to 1200 dvds or cds), Front screen protector with retractable screen, 50in and a 42in tv"s. They (Chuck) tied everything together in the basement and out of sight, so that we play any movie on any tv in the house without going downstairs to change the DVD or CD , I am talking about 400+ movies and CDs. They also tied in the Lights into the one remote that is a touchpanel (like an Ipad) that floats using WIFI that controls the tvs dvd cd outside music tv's etc, my wife no longer has to use 5 remotes we just have one remote that controls everything in the house. If you are looking for a job done right the first time Hire these guys they might be expensive but you will not have any problems and they know what they are talking about and what they are doing. I have used them twice and every time I love the end product I rarely go out to watch a movie.

Kurt from Genesis Audio came to me new home to give me a quote to reconnect my home theater system. He thoroughly covered all my options for the exiting room and made his recommendations. Upon agreeing to the quote, his install team reported about two weeks later to run wires, install rear wall mounted speakers, and program a hand held complete system remote. Upon completion, the team covered how to use the system thoroughly.

GENESIS AUDIO IS THE BEST IN TOWN. WE HAD OUR HOUSE BUILT AND OUR BUILDER (A VERY LARGE ONE IN TOWN) WOULD NOT LET US SELECT OUR A/V COMPANY TO PRE-WIRE, BUT GENESIS AUDIO HELPED ME DESIGN THE PLACEMENT AND TYPE OF WIRING AT NO CHARGE (WE DID BUY ALL OF OUR SPEAKERS FROM THEM). THEY ALSO HOOKED UP THE SPEAKERS IN MY FAMILY ROOM UPON OUR MOVE-IN AND GOT MY COMPLETE A/V SYSTEM HOOKED UP TOGETHER WHICH WAS NO SMALL FEAT. THEY CHARGED ME FOR ONLY ONE HOUR OF LABOR WHEN THEY HAD TWO GUYS THERE FOR 2 1/2 HOURS DUE TO SOME CABLES THAT I DID NOT HAVE AND THE DIFFICULTY OF THE A/V SETUP. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY AS THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL AND THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO DO THE JOB RIGHT THE 1ST TIME. THEY ARE SUPERB IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, PLANNING AND INSTALLATION - EVEN FOR A SMALL JOB LIKE MINE.

AFTER WAITING TWO WEEKS I CALLED AND HE PROFESSED A VERY BUSY SCHEDULE, BUT PROMISED A QUOTE TO ME WITHIN 3 DAYS. WELL, 2 WEEKS LATER AND STILL NO RESPONSE. MY JOB WAS NOT THE BIGGEST, BUT CERTAINLY IN THE 5-7 THOUSAND DOLLAR CATEGORY. PERHAPS THAT'S NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR THEM, BUT IF IT ISN'T, BE HONEST ABOUT IT. DON'T MISLEAD POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS OR THEY MIGHT WRITE YOU UP ON ANGIE'S LIST. TODAY I DECIDED TO FINALIZE MY PURCHASE THROUGH ANOTHER COMPANY, WHO IS THOROUGH, INFORMATIVE AND HONEST. IF YOU SEE THEIR COMPANY TRUCK (GENESIS AUDIO) COMING DOWN THE STREET, YOU CAN PROBABLY BELIEVE IT'S HEADED FOR A $20,000 PLUS JOB. ANYTHING LESS, IT SEEMS THEY'RE NOT INTERESTED. A TRULY BAD EXPERIENCE. HE EITHER WASN'T INTERESTED OR HIS BOSS TOLD HIM NOT TO BID ON THIS LESS THAN $10,000 JOB. IF YOU EVER CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, THINK AGAIN.

Description of Work: CHUCK WORKED WITH US AS WE BUILT OUR HOUSE. WE PUT AN ENERGY TAKE 5.2 SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM WITH NEW AUDIO COMPONENTS IN THE GREAT ROOM (RECEIVER, AMPLIFIER AND 6-DVD PLAYER.) WE HAD A SECOND ZONE WIRED FROM THAT ROOM, WHICH BROADCASTS THE SOUND TO THE KITCHEN/DINING ROOM AND THE MASTER BEDROOM/BATHROOM. EACH OF THOSE ROOMS HAS INDIVIDUAL VOLUME USING NILES KEYPADS. THEY USED MONSTER QUAD CABLE IN THE HOME AND WIRED OUT TO THE PATIO ALSO. THEY PROGRAMMED THE SYSTEM AND SHOWED US HOW TO USE IT. GREAT JOB!
