Description of Work: Although the original purpose was to clean my chimney, the 40-year old Franklin stove was replaced with a Hampton that has EPA-approved air scrubber and a blower system, all installed to meet my insurance company standards. | |Mr Simpson and his helper were efficient, careful, and cleaned everything up when they were finished.

Description of Work: tuck pointing around foundation to repair minor cracks... arrived on time. They said they would drill out all old mortar, and replace with new where there was cracking around our 50 year old foundation blocks...said it would take a half day to do. One service person spent around 3 hours patching cracks, but did very little drilling. Did the job, but we feel it was way over priced for work performed. We asked Matt to return and inspect. He said he would, but to our knowledge he never did.

Description of Work: I had them out to clean and inspect the gas fireplace. They cleaned and sort of inspected but the tech did not seem to know anything about the gas fireplace which I found odd. He said because it was 25 years old he did not know anything about it and would not light it to see if it worked or not. He did clean the logs and fireplace but left a black spot on the carpet which did clean up. He recommended replace the chase cover because it was severly rusted and I agreed. They are replacing it for $750 at a later date.

Description of Work: The gentleman inspected the fireplace and chimney, sealed some cracks in the bricks, and installed two new chimney caps. | He also gave us some ideas and estimates for a fireplace insert. | Everything went great; the price was fair, and we will call him again.

Description of Work: Mid-Valley Chimney Repair & Sweep LLC did an inspection of my home purchased chimney in May 2009.

Description of Work: fixed cracks in chimney, replaced existing flashing, added a cricket flashing, added new shingles at repair site, waterproofed chimney. Repaired sunken pavers in three sidewalks, added side moldings along sides of bricks. Added new sand on all three walkways.

Description of Work: They used brick when this house was built and they had deteriorated pretty badly. They replaced the bad bricks from the top down to the roof level. They replaced the ones below the roof line because they were in pretty bad shape as well. They put a new interior in the chimney and sealed everything. We have a seven year warranty.

Description of Work: The chimney on our home had decayed and was falling apart. The chimney was totally removed from house and rebuilt to match the existing brick on the rest of our brick ranch home.
