I think overall they did a good job. He did an inspection and took his time to explain what needed to be done. He did a quality job and I would use them again if I needed to.

Matt was very friendly, yet professional and thorough. He protected the floors with tarps from my entrance all the way to the fireplace. After meticulously cleaning the fireplace and chimney, he went up on the roof to inspect our chimney cap. He pointed out some problems to watch, but indicated that they did not need to be repaired at this time.

Called to tell us they would be running late but the guy showed up another 45 minutes after new time estimate. Did the job fine, recommened an additional repair but didn't give costs or offer to do the work while he was there. Cleaned up well after himself. Presented the bill and left.

They were fine. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Both the estimator and the workmen were very professional and efficient. Did the work quickly and charged less than estimate. Cleaned up after themselves very well. Plan to use them again to repair chimney.

Overall, positive experience. We received detailed explanation of the problem, possible ways to fix it, and estimates of work. Clean job, no mess left behind. Satisfied and we would use again.

He gave a good description of the work to be performed and did an excellent job. The old chimney was in really worse shape than I thought.

Busy time of year, so took a couple weeks to get an appointment. Reported on stuff that might need to be done the road, but did not pressure me at all to do anything yet. Great and friendly service.

This is the second time I've used Matt at Mid-Valley for my dryer vent cleaning. Today was a rainy day. Matt nor his associate tracked any wet into the house. They put down cloths. They also vacuumed up the dust bunnies on the floor of the laundry closet. I told Matt as he was leaving that I would see him again next year!

Matt replaced the old chimney cap with new stainless steel that had to be custom ordered because the chimney is very large and serves two fireplaces. When he was doing the work, he alerted me to the fact that one of the fireplaces was not to code because the pipes did not go all the way to the cap. I did not repair it at the time because I don't use the fireplaces (I think they're too inefficient and mess up the central heating). When I sell, I'll have Matt fix it. On the same day, Matt cleaned the dryer vent. He was extremely clean and organized. He is also a very pleasant and courteous young man.

Punctual estimate. Well organized and friendly. Actual service was 10 days later than expected with know notification of why, until I called. They were putting it off due to hit weather, and working on an "inside job" during the heet. When they came they were very professional and although I cannot really see the work myself, I beleive it to be well done - I guess because they seem honest and sincere in conversation. So far pleased with results.

When I called for an estimate, they got back to my very quickly and were able to schedule us in a timely manner. They showed up on time and were very professional. They were respectful of my time and got to work right away. They listened to what we needed and met our needs while being pleasant and courteous. Very knowledgeable and explained everything to me, and appreciative of the business. They showed me the chimney after they were done, and performed good quality work. Will definitely use them in the future.

I was happy with them. They explained pretty well what the problem was, what the cost would be and how long it would take. They wanted to come out a day earlier, which worked out fine for me. It was a very good service. The pricing was good. I called another company just to get pricing for the cleaning and it was a lot more expensive than they offered so that was another reason why I went with them. The cleaning price was good but I don't know about the repair work. I assume their prices were competitive. They showed up at the time they promised and they returned my phone call promptly too. I would definitely use them again.

We are in the process of selling our home. Mid-Valley cleaned and inspected our two fireplaces (with a camera). They were extremely thorough and had me watch as the camera climbed both chimneys. Unfortunately, the camera enabled us to see missing mortar between one of the chimney's flu tiles--requiring a steel liner. Our chimney also needs repair, and Mid-Valley submitted an estimate for both the chimney re-lining and partial chimney rebuild that was less expensive than our buyer's estimate. Mid-Valley offered numerous referrals and encouraged the buyer and I to ask their previous clients about Mid-Valley's work. The buyer and I agreed to go in half to have both repairs made with Mid-Valley. Hopefully, I will not be at the residence when the repairs are actually made--but I am confident they will do a great job if they do as quality of work as some of their previous clients.

Overall it went fine and it was a very good experience. They were on time, professional, and did everything I expected to them on budget. It was everything you'd hope a service call would be.

Overall the end product was alright but not what I had envisioned.I wanted realistic logs and flames .I don't like the pilot light on all the time but again with a sealed fire I found out it was normal.

They have come out a couple of times to do some work for me. Their price was comparable to what I had found elsewhere. The product they used, the actual inserts were terribly complicated and expensive so the price was probably good. I knew it was going to be an expensive work when I got into it. They were prompt, professional and very nice. They were easy to talk with. The thing I particularly liked was when it was done, everything looked good and they cleaned up after themselves very well. Even as they were installing the inserts they had to drill the fireplace after cleaning it up and so forth. They had a vacuum there that kept any dust form escaping the fireplace and going into the room. They were excellent and that's very important to me. I would use them again in the future.

Matt Simpson and his crew of masons are the finest in the business. Their work on our 2-story chimney was impeccable and was done in the "old school" tradition of masonry- no shortcuts, and completed beautifully in just a week. Our old chimney had not been anchored properly to our house, and there was a gap between the chimney and the house which could have resulted in water damage. We had some brick damage, and the flashing was rusted. Matt returned all phone calls promptly, was very polite, answered all questions patiently, and followed through on all promises. My new chimney is a picture of perfection, thanks to Matt and his crew at Mid-Valley Chimney! I highly recommend Mid-Valley Chimney Repair and Sweep!

They provided a detailed quote, worked with me to schedule good dates to do the work, arrived as planned, and did the work. I used the fireplace most weekends last winter and have not had any problems.

Mid-Valley Chimney Repair & Sweep is a good company. They were okay and I didn?t have any problems with them. I really can?t say anything about the quality, since I haven?t been able to use it so far and so I really don?t know as to how good it?s going to stand out. Their responsiveness was pretty good. I will be a little more competitive with other companies in the future.
