I have been having problems with my garage door and LG Exteriors had a good deal on a garage door tune up. They were able to schedule on short notice and showed up on time. Fixed my issue and replaced some worn parts all in under an hour. Very happy and would use again.

We scheduled servicing with this contractor due to the great reviews on Angie's List and the good price. He was patient and understanding when we were not around for the first scheduled appointment (he arrived on time, we forgot), and promptly scheduled a follow-up appointment. He got our current old garage door and motor in the best shape he could but mentioned that the motor was quite old and would likely need replacement in the next several years. He gave us a very fair price on installation and purchase of a new motor but was not pushy at all and said the price would be the same later. Our garage door button had been very finicky. He felt it likely had to do with the old motor and couldn't guarantee that it would work any better after his tweaks. However, the button has worked consistently for the past week since he left - so it is much improved. The garage door rolls more quietly. It doesn't reopen automatically like it was doing before and closes all the way (there was a 2" gap between the bottom and the concrete before. So overall this service really improved the operation of our existing garage door and was a great value. We would use LG Exterior to replace this motor in the future if needed.

I purchased a Big Deal with Angie's List for a $99 Garage Door Tune Up. I was very happy with the service. He was punctual, came when he was supposed to.

Leland was great. I've got a $99 Big Deal for replacement of rollers and an estimate for some other improvements the same day! Professional, clear about details, good communication. In addition Leland ordered the lower door panel of the same model, which he will install as soon as the material arrives. When the installation is finalized I will pay the second half (50%) of the cost, which I find very convenient.

.It went perfectly. Shortly after purchasing the "Big Deal" I heard from LG Exteriors in order to set up an appointment for the service. We made an appointment, then he actually phoned the day before he was supposed to come and asked if he might come that day instead. As my working hours can be flexible, I agreed and headed home to meet him. Although he said the work might take 60 to 90 minutes, I don't think it was more than 30 or so minutes later that he came to the door to tell me everything was done. He explained what he had done, including repairing the sensor wire. He also pointed out that the garage door opener itself is probably 20 years old or so and they have a reasonable life of 10 to 15 years. However, it's working, so there's no need to replace it. When it does stop working, though, he indicated that it most likely will not be fixable and a new one will be needed. But as long as it is working, no need to replace it now. I appreciated this information and that it was the exact opposite of a sales pitch for a new opener. I asked if I owed anything more than the "Big Deal" purchase price because of the repair of the sensor wire. He assured me that I did not and thanked me for my business. All in all, the exchange was professional from start to finish and I would certainly contact LG Exteriors again for garage door repair (or opener replacement, when the time comes)

He arrived on time, on a very cold day. He listened to my explanation of the issues we were concerned about, and explained what he would do to remedy the problems. He finished faster than we expected, an explained what he had done. He was professional. I would recommend him.

I bought the "Big Deal" for the garage door tune up. I was contacted the day following my purchase to schedule the appointment. The appointment was the next day. Leland arrived on time and got right to work. He was professional, courteous, prompt and extremely knowledge about his work. When he finished I couldn't believe how smooth and quiet the garage door was. We were convinced we were going to be investing in both a new door and opener. Leland assured me we had several years of service to come from our current door. Meh explained all the repairs he made. I would DEFINITELY recommend LG Exteriors to others and Leland is the one I'll be calling the next time I need help.

Leland of LG Exteriors, showed up on-time, in uniform and in a logo-ed vehicle. I was first impressed with his professionalism when he insisted on coming through the garage rather than risk tracking foot prints in my home (it was all of 6 degrees outside!). When we met in the garage I was secondly impressed by his enthusiastic, professional demeanor. He quickly got to work evaluating the condition of both of my garage doors. As a new home-owner I am still trying to understand the nuances of home-ownership. Leland was was very thorough in explaining what was wrong with my garage, and some ways it may have happened/ may be prevented (seems like my garage door may have frozen to the ground). After his assessment, he gave me the revised quote and then commenced work. For the next two hours he: reinforced (read rebuilt) and reshaped my two garage door top panels, correctly mounted the track for the rollers (it had been installed incorrectly letting out an awful screech every use), tuned the two motors to have the appropriate pull force and drop height (finally no daylight on the bottom or top of the door!). I was astonished at the amount of work he accomplished in the time; especially given the quality of the job! Before he was done he walked me through all of the repairs and made sure all of my questions were answered. When I signed up for the tune-up, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew my garage was in rough-shape, and that was about it. Now I can't even imagine how I managed before! Very happy to have chosen LG Exteriors, and I look forward to dealing with Leland in the future. Highly recommend!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The guy was terrific and I would recommend him to anybody. Everything works just fine. The kid did a wonderful job.

I first noticed the problem when I went to leave to run some errands. I called him on the spot as he had performed some work for me in the past. He was able to get out to the house that afternoon and replaced the spring on the door without any delay. He charged a reasonable price for what was an emergency.

He was trying to adjust the spring, but it broke because it was old. He was able to clear his schedule to get the parts and fix it for me. He was very polite, which I don't see much. He called and treated me with respect.

I am extremely satisfied with the work, and overall professionalism, of Leland. From scheduling the appointment, to calling prior to his arrival to the actual work performed to cleaning up upon completion, he exceeded all expectations. Originally, I had purchased his Angie's List $99 special to perform some basic maintenance on our old (20 years) garage door. We were also having problems with our opener and I asked him to check / service it also. Without hesitation, I can say the entire "system" operates better than when it was new .... it is quieter, runs smoother and, for the first time in memory, the lights actually turn on and off! I will absolutely call Leland again for service and will recommend him to everyone I know needing his expertise.

He was very professional. Performed a good job. I was having problems with the opener and he looked at it and told me the was wearing out. He said it may last for a while longer and could not replace it due to lack of time. He did all the work as needed and gave me an estimate on the opener replacement. Very professional and courteous. I will definitely use him when it is time to replace the opener or perform any other repairs and recommend him to friends..

He strategized and his idea worked great. The price was an additional $100, but I was more than glad to pay $200 as opposed to $800 to replace the garage door. His service was excellent and he communicated well throughout the process. His clean up was fine and he left nothing behind.

area within , Mr Yoder called and asked if I was available for him to arrive one day ahead of our original schedule. As it turns out, I was pleased to move up one day. Upon arrival he inspected the doors. Following his inspection he noted the age of the doors (30 years) as well as some damage to one panel. In view of the age of the doors, as well as the amount I was going to spend on existing damage and roller replacement, My Yoder suggested I consider replacng the doors. His approach was very professional as he explained what I was about to spend vs I would spend on new doors. While it was tempting, I elected to go with repairing my doors and replacing the rollers and two large springs. Mr Yoder and his assistant completed all his work and cleaned up the work area within an hour and a half. I was very pleased with his work and will be calling hm in a year or 2 to replace me Garage doors !!.

Mr Yoder was very prompt as well as very professional in his response. The repair was done on my 89 year old mothers house. Mr Yoder was very quick on his turn around on both his return phone call as well as the needed repair. The repair was done very professional as well as very courteous. He was very nice and explained what he did and gave me some good information on my garage door and how to properly maintain. I will be using him again for all of our garage door needs.

My boyfriend purchased a garage door opener for me thinking he would install it. However, after looking at the directions, we decided to call someone. We called Home Depot where the opener was purchased but they said we had to return it and repurchase it with the installation. We found LG on Angie's List, called him on Saturday, he came out the following Tuesday to do the installation. While there he noticed how shaky the doors were and explained they had a special to replace the rollers and springs. We hired him to come back out to make that repair. My garage door is now opens smoothly. He did a great job both times, showed up when he said he would calling 15 minutes before arrival. I would definitely recommend him and use him again. The value for the services performed was also outstanding.

Leroy from LG Exteriors was professional, paid attention to detail and punctually followed up on all questions. He spent time with us to work through the options and represented his work very well. LG exteriors installed replacement garage doors on our house in Mason Ohio. We are very pleased with the end product.
