Description of Work: This is our 4th or 5th time in the past four years or so that we've called Harrison's Pro Tree Service to come to our rescue. As always, they did a wonderful job. We had a large branch break on a cluster of 40-foot Osage trees in our back yard. We also wanted to take down a large branch and clean out the "dead" limbs in a series of equally large Hackberry trees near the Osage and just outside our backyard fence. I called Harrison's that morning (7/15/24) and the co-owner (who is also the estimator, and a certified arborist) answered. She said she was in the area and would come by within the hour. She showed up as scheduled, examined our trees, and found the Osage cluster had several other cracks which could cause problems in the future. So, we decided to remove those trees as well. We also had a large pile of old firewood outside the fence we wanted hauled off. She gave us a written estimate on the spot (which was reasonable) and followed up later that day with the formalized e-mail estimate. She was able to schedule the work for the following Monday (7/22/24). The Harrison's team was supposed to arrive at 7:45 AM, but showed up at 7:30. They came ready to go right to work--with about 10 guys, several trucks (including a bucket truck), a large chipper, and a couple "caterpillar-treaded" vehicles (minimal lawn damage) to collect and haul the debris from inside our fence to the chipper outside the fence. The team leader (also a co-owner) kept things moving smoothly. The whole operation was professional, well-organized, and very efficient. Amazingly, they were done (including a thorough cleanup) within about two hours. It was another exceptional job by the Harrison's crew. We'll definitely have them back again when/if the need arises. Highly recommend!!

 + -1 moreI would like to confess my deep and undying love for Harrison?s Pro Tree. They. Were. Amazing! They were extremely responsive, got me the quote the fastest, quoted me for the best price, were able the schedule the work the fastest, were able to make it out a day EARLIER than that, ended up charging me LESS than I was quoted for, and went well above and beyond in the job. For example, when they got up on the roof to clean up a couple of twigs, they cleaned out the gutters while they were up there and then cleaned off my patio! They took away a couple extra wood piles that needed removed that were on site before they showed up without charging extra and then raked the entire yard. They did the job quickly and they took great care to not cause any damage to the property. My neighbor was also impressed and is using them next week to remove some ash trees from their yard as well. I would highly recommend them; I am picky and was extremely impressed.

 + -1 moreVery impressive operation... Jeff Harrison showed up on time with a crew of 5 guys, a huge boom truck, wood chipper, stump grinder and other equipment I can't name. In one hour, my enormous tree was down, shrubs were out, and everything was cleaned up spic-and-span. They even re-laid my mulch that I'd moved out of the way, and spot filled the sod damage that comes from dropping large limbs. Jeff did all the cutting from the lift himself, taking care to avoid power lines nearby and not damage anything on the ground. Crew were all wearing safety equipment and worked non-stop. I would hire them again and feel very pleased that I made the right choice from the 3 companies I called to bid my job! After they left I noticed that they heavily damaged a remaining bush while removing the one next to it, but no one told me about it happening. They also missed removing the stump from one of the 4 bushes they took out.
Description of Work: Cut down 50' maple tree and removed 4 overgrown boxwood shrubs.

 + -1 moreThey did a good job cleaning it up; raking up the tree branches and little things that you get after the tree is cut down. Mainly I did a search under Google, I went through Google because I was looking for someone that would not soak me on it because it was a combination of wild tree and it was between my neighbor and me, which were going to both chip in, so I didn’t want it high in price. His cost wasn’t high either. A lot of places would charge $500 for the same work he did and not only that, it came up that he was on Angie’s List as well but mainly it was the price at the time that I chose him. He did a good job. He showed up when they told me he would show up. They were very professional.
Description of Work: The tree was about twenty feet high, it was a wild tree. They cut it down and took it away.

 + -1 moreFrom the initial quote through to the completion of the job, Jeff and his team were extremely professional and reliable. The price was extremely fair for the amount of work involved. He and his team showed up on time and explained exactly how they would be doing the job. They managed to operate in a fairly confined space, taking great care to bring a huge ash tree down safely. Both our neighbors and ourselves we extremely impressed with their operations and due diligence. Not only did they remove all of the debris from both trees, but cleaned up the small debris, including a majority of the sawdust. Following their clean-up, the area was cleaner than when they began! We are very pleased with the work of Jeff and his crew and would certainly use them again. Highly recommend this company to anyone requiring tree removal.
Description of Work: Removed a huge ash tree and a medium neighboring tree in a very tight area surrounded by a neighbors fence, in addition to our deck and patio. Removed all tree debris and completely cleaned area.

 + -1 moreMy total experience with Harrison Pro Tree Service was EXCELLENT!!! When I called for an estimate, Jeff stopped by that evening. He gave me the best price for the job. I was not in a rush to get the tree taken down, so Jeff worked me into his schedule within a week. Jeff and his crew came on Wednesday afternoon and had everything done within 3 hours. All of them were very professional and did a great job. They were very safe as there were electrical lines going through the tree. The clean-up was top notch - removed all debris, wood, etc. from my yard. Leveled out where the tree stump and roots were removed, so I am now able to plant grass. I highly recommend Harrison Pro Tree service and will definitely call them again when I need further work done on my other trees.
Description of Work: Jeff and crew cut down Sweet Gum tree along with stump and root removal. They also trimmed my maple tree.

All cutting was done carefully and they cleaned up great! It was a fairly large job and we couldn't have been happier with their service. We will definitely use them again!

They responded to my initial call promptly, came out within just a coupes of days to give me the estimate, and completed the job within a week of me calling to schedule the work. They arrived on time, had a large crew so work could be done in both the front yard and back yard simultaneously, and completed the job quickly. They did everything I had requested, were friendly, and did the work well. They were very conscientious about cleanup, including removing the small twigs and seed pods from the roof, blowing the wood shavings out of the flower beds and grass, and placing the wood where I requested so I can have someone come and split it. I will be having the old fence along the back of the lot removed and then will need some additional removal work done, and will not hesitate to call them to do the work!
Description of Work: Removed a large Sweet Gum tree (including stump grinding) from the front yard (with several large branches hanging over the garage), removed wild honeysuckle from along the back of my lot (including stump grinding where possible), and tore down a wood gazebo. They also cut the wood from the tree and the larger portions of the honeysuckle into fireplace-sized lengths.

 + -1 moreWe had, what appeared to us, dying tree on the border of our property. I big snow/wind storm was approaching that weekend and my husband and I wanted the tree removed. Jeff did an inspection of the tree and ensured us the tree would not fall in the next couple days. He explained and showed us what to look for in dying trees and told us the particular tree of concern had been around for at least 20yrs. The price and education of it all is what really sold me on Jeff's company to remove the tree. He came back with his crew in three days and the tree and clean-up were removed. Another thing that was great was after the inspection he sent me an email of his companies credentials and insurance paperwork, so I knew these guys were legit and the real deal

Watching as they worked to bring down the rest of the large box elder that was damaged in the storm, I found them to work with great care and safety in completing the task. Even though there was snow on the ground, they did some raking to leave the area as clean as possible, and all the bark and branches were removed. They were efficient and hard working. The price quoted was also very competitive. I would recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

After talking with the shed company, we decided that we needed to move the location that we wanted to build it and therefore it was going to require more work to prep the space. Jeff responded very quickly with a fair price and we scheduled for them to come out the following week to complete the work. Later that day, Jeff called and said they finished their morning job early and were available to do the work that afternoon. They showed up around 1:30pm with a crew and had everything done by 4pm. They were very professional and did a great job clearing the space. We'll definitely call Jeff the next time we need tree work done!

 + -1 moreWow - thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and safety of Jeff and his crew. How many times have you had someone in a pick-up truck with a chain saw stop and ask about removing a dead tree on your property? Not these guys!! They are fully equipped and fully professional. The response to my inquiry (based on Angie's List already!) was timely and the estimated cost was right in the middle of the several estimates I had collected (and fair in my opinion). They showed up on time and performed a delicate job (large dead tree right next to my house) without incident. I was very impressed with their attentiveness to SAFETY from getting set-up to the end of the job! Clean-up was very good also. I will be using them again in the future as there is other work I could have them do (tree maintenance, trimming, pruning etc).

 + -1 moreI got Jeff's name from Angies List and called. Jeff answered my call and promised to be out as soon as he could. He came out after work that day and assessed the job, described what needed to be done, told me what they would do to minimize the damage to grass, pool, surrounding landscape etc... 2 trees in backyard were huge and being a tight space, there was no margin for error as they could hit the pool, fence or house. Jeff emailed me a detailed estimate that night and gave me a 2 week window for the service date. 8 days later he called and he came out the next morning with his crew and equipment. Bottom line:1)Excellent price 2)Top notch crew with Jeff's supervision. All safety gear worn and procedures observed 3)All work performed with little damage to grass or surrounding landscape 4)3 trees removed and all cleanup done that same day-stumps ground and area ready for replanting at our leisure Jeff did all that he said he would do for the price quoted and his crew went above and beyond what many other workers would on a job site. Jeff himself worked and supervised the job too which is rare for tree companies. Jeff, you are on the right track for a successful company! We couldn't be happier with the way this job was handled from beginning to end. Will use Harrison Tree service from now on.

 + -1 moreJeff, and his crew showed up bright and early at 9am. They worked through one of the hottest days of the year to take down three Ash trees. Two of which were very close to an out building and they did a great job, nothing fell into my nieghbors yard or onto the roof of the shed. Grinded all three trees stumps and cleaned everything up and in a timely manner. They also raised/pruned a maple tree that was almost touching the ground, so now it wont be in the way when I mow. Price wise, they cant be beat and their quailty is top notch. Several houses in the neighborhood have had trees removed and the companies left behind mounds of shavings from the stumps, Harrison's did not. The ground is nice and flat so seeding new grass will be easy and look flush with the rest of the yard.

 + -1 moreA storm knocked down part of a tree, and Jeff came out within days to look at damage and provide estimate of this tree removal plus one dead and one dying tree. Jeff brought a whole team out to cut down the trees and remove all wood. The process was fascinating to watch. Jeff was very safety conscious and thorough. I chose not to have stumps ground down, but what was left of the trees was low to the ground and level. The crew worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up all evidence of fallen trees. I would highly recommend Harrison's Pro Tree Service without reservation!

 + 0 moreProvider cut down the trees, cleared out the Honey Suckle and ground out the stumps. They raked up all the debris and left everything very tidy. I saw the provider at another site yesterday and asked if they could cut down the trees and clean up the Honey Suckle. The provider said he would be back by Monday but actually came today. Did a great job.
Description of Work: Provider cut down two trees. One was about 3 feet in diameter and about 150 feet tall. Provider also cleared out about 50 feet of Honey Suckle and ground out the stumps.

 + -1 moreJeff is very personable and knowledgeable. The price that he gave me was very good. Overall, they did a good job and cleaned up after the work was done. I was pleased with the work with the exception of some of the stump grinding that was done. They were also supposed to cut back some overgrown Vinca which never got done. In looking at the big picture, the things that were not done correctly were very small. Basically, I was pleased with them. It was a big job and most of it was well done.
