Me or my neighbor were not impressed by the appearance of my lawn. They always said I was the one scalping my lawn. I have a riding mower and always keep it 3 or 4 inches. They would always try to put the blame back on me and would not accept any responsibility.
Description of Work: I have had them for 4 years for my yard. They did treatments on my yard. It is $45 per application.

We were looking for a company to perform lawn weed and feed services for a reasonable price. We got bids from several companies and Green Acres came in as the low bidder by a fairly large margin. I guess that should have tipped us off that something was wrong. They put down the first two applications of weed and feed this season and it seemed OK, although there were more weeds than we used to have and the lawn was a little sparse, but I attributed that to the drought (even though we have a lawn irrigation system that is running). Recently we noticed dead circles in several places on the lawn and asked them to come take a look at it. They said that it was "dollar spot" and that they would treat it when they did their next service. They came out and put down fertilizer/weed killer and applied a treatment to the spots. A couple of weeks later I noticed that the spots were still "fuzzy" in the morning and it looked like there was still some sort of active issue going on. I called Green Acres and got an answering machine so I left a message saying that it looked like the disease was still there and asked if they could tell me how long it took for their treatment to take effect or if they could take a look and tell me if something else needed to be done. Rather than calling back or telling me that it would take some time, or any response at all, Green Acres sent a letter saying that I was being unreasonable and they would no longer provide us with lawn treatment. After talking to other treatment companies in the area I find out that the treatment for the disease in our lawn always takes a minimum of two treatments. Green Acres never said anything about this or frankly anything else about what the lawn really needed.
Description of Work: We hired this company to perform lawn fertilization and weed control. The put down weed killer/fertilizer and disease control chemicals on our entire lawn.
