Experience with two agents within company trying to sell our house. First agent provided excellent service during first summer. We took the house off the market for the winter. Relisted in spring of 2012 with same agent. At this point we left the area on an extended trip in our recreation vehicle that kept us out of town from late June 2012 to January 2013.. All that followed was by phone, mail, email, and fax. Shortly after listing, agent passed away. Company president gave us a chance to withdraw from the contract but terms were so onerous that we decided to stay. Subsequently learned that terms and conditions as explained were incomplete and therefore misleading. Sale of property was put in the hands of a second agent who exerted no effort on our behalf and failed to maintain contact as promised. After contract expired, I had to make special requests for them to remove their signs and return the house key that had been in the lockbox (still waiting for that).
