Mark did 2 home inspections for me during my home buying process. The first home was over 4000 sq. ft consisting of a bungalow and a manufactured home attached to it. 2 crawl spaces since there was no basement. From the look of the home cosmetically, I thought this home just needed some TLC and my family was in love with the potential of the home. I called Mark and he made himself available working around my work schedule. When I arrived at the home for our scheduled meeting, Mark was already on the roof inspecting the home. Mark did such a thorough job, got down and into the crawl space and came out smelling like mold, he couldn't get into the 2nd crawl space because it was flooded to the gills with standing water, though I wouldn't have doubt that if he could he would have still gone in there. The cost added up on the major issues so we made the choice to pull out of the offer. It wasn't easy to emotionally since we loved the home but financially it wouldn't have been anything but a money pit. As a woman buying her first home for her family not knowing much about what to look for, Mark really made me feel like I had a family member looking out for my best interest. He even offered to stop the inspection half way through to save me money for having to pay for the full inspection. That's how bad the first home was. Of course when I put in an offer on the 2nd home, I called Mark immediately. He made himself again available to suit my needs, I even had to reschedule and he came out early morning on a Saturday. Again, when I arrived he was already at the home waiting for me. Again, he took his time and went through and was very thorough. Though the list of things to update and fix was long it wasn't anything as major as the first house. I'm going into the purchase of the home knowing exactly what needs to be done immediately to what will need to be done in the future. He treated me like we were family and without steering me one way or the other gave me assurance that I would be okay to purchase this home if I choose to do so. He was worth every dime spent for both inspection. Hopefully I won't need him a third time only because I'm hoping this 2nd home will be mine shortly, but if I do need a third inspection he will be who I will call.
