Weatherization Rx

The men were slow and sloppy. Work was very haphazard not professional at all. They smoked in my yard and driveway and stated that they urinated in their truck was there three days and on the third day I kicked them out of my house without the work completed. They tack a light cord to the ceiling, extension cord was foamed into the ceiling, large clumps of foam insulation left on pipes and areas, tried to blanket over the only heating duck in the garage ( had to bang on the truck window to get them to uncover it). They did a great job. Very professional. Took about 3 hours to perform work. Cleaned up all their debris.

Thomas came and looked over the areas that needed to be insulated: 2 sides of the attic surrounding the upstairs bedroom, and the areas surrounding the room over the garage. He was polite and professional. The estimate reflected the fact that 3 teams would be used. They arrived promptly with 3 trucks for the 3 teams to do the work. Insulation was blown in and packing material applied. There were a few cracks in the ceiling/walls when the insulation was blown in, so they repaired/replaced the drywall there. They installed real wooden doors with latches, at the entry points to the attic spaces. Considering that there were 9 men in my house and garage, they were most polite, friendly, and answered both my son's and my questions throughout the day. They were careful to take their smoke breaks away from the house, and didn't leave any butts. When they were finished, they vacuumed the rooms that were involved, and even down the stairs and into the living room. There was a problem with one of the fixtures that had not been replaced properly. I was able to call Thomas, and he came over the next day, at my convenience, to fix it. I have been quite satisfied with the work. The one and only complaint that I would have was that when they needed personal items moved out of the way of their work, they moved the items themselves. I was in the house, and could have moved many items out of the way if I had known.
