Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

First, I'd like to highlight that this is NOT Lowe's - the large corporation. This is a company that is using the same name which is a little misleading because I associated a certain level of quality and expectations thinking that it was the large corporation. Tricky! The two technicians who showed up were very professional and prompt. Called before arrival, which I appreciated. The lead tech confirmed that I had purchased and paid for the AL deal and recapped what they would be doing asking me to show him around prior to them starting (showing all vents and returns). Fortunately, I'd had this done previously and remembered in my head how many there should be, so that I didn't end up missing one. They were extremely quick, but that is part of the quality concern. After watching them on the first vent, I noticed that they hadn't even removed the vent cover so I promptly asked them if that would be done (rather than shoving the hose through the vent hole). He assured me that they were going to and, unfortunately, I had to go back to work in another area of the home and could not continue to watch. The whole process took less than 90m and upon later inspection of the vents they did not appear like they had been removed and clean, but wiped off exterior only. Since that's the case, I do have questions as to the full level of cleaning conducted. A previous service with cleaning and sanitize look noticeably longer (approx. 4+ hours) and had attachments on the end of the hoses that clearly reached around the entire vent to ensure cleaning. At the end of the day, I'm sure that my dryer vent was cleaned and that the vents are slightly better, but I know that they aren't nearly as clean as they were in my last experience.

It went well; Provider was on time, explained each step of the process; efficiently moved through each process; answered all of my questions and concerns; discussed future maintenance and scheduled; provided a receipt for the service and a follow up phone number. Provider was extremely polite, helpful and polite.

Good job. Tech Found that my flexed dryer vent in the back of the dryer had holes in it and also the external vent to the outside had a birds nest in it. Glad this was found for fear of having a fire. I paid extra to have the damaged vent replaced. Unfortunately an air hose could not be placed in my ceiling vents because they were flex vents and it could damage the vents.

The Technician called before arrival, arrived on time, was complete on time, and was personable and professional. Would definitely use them again, and have already recommended them to friends!

Excellent service. On time and professional. Nothing but courteous and polite. Sergii explained what he was going to do and showed me the progress along the way with pictures. My vents were filthy... He also cleaned the AC coils hence the extra $100.00 charge..well worth it. Excellent job!

Serviceman arrived on time, as promised, and even called when on his way. (Was surprised when given the date of service as it was Memorial Day.) He explained what he would do and then did it. Very clean, very little disruption to my home. I have only two quibbles about the service provided: 1) some water dripped from a duct in the basement onto a box, and he was dismissive of it, saying that sometimes that happens. Well, had I KNOWN that was a possibility, I would have moved the box out of the way so that it would not get dripped on. Fortunately, it was not an item of value, but if it had been, I would have been quite upset; and 2) I had believed that cleaning the actual HVAC unit was part of the service (had ordered the deluxe package over the phone) and that, instead, is an upcharge. I declined to have it done as I am replacing that unit soon anyhow. The process took several hours, so it was money well spent. Serviceman was very personable. I would definitely use the service again.

No complaints it went good and completed services as expected.

Job performed as advertised. The only reason that the quality of work is rated as a B (and it's a high B) vs. an A is due to the amount of dust that remained following the work, even after the technician used pressurized air to dislodge lint that had escaped due to a clogged vacuum filter. Even though I had to wipe down many surfaces in my laundry room following the work, I would definitely use them again.

They called an hour before they arrived to confirm and let us know when they expected to arrive, as they were coming from ~80+ miles away. He was very pleasant on the phone. They arrived on time, and were even MORE pleasant (I didn't think that was possible) when they got here. They told us every step of the process and let us know that it would be loud. They were a 2 man team and were obviously very experienced. They were efficient and as polite as if they were addressing the president of the US. Seriously. Very nice men, very considerate, please, thank you, the whole thing. They went above and beyond- they fixed an issue we didn't even know about with the filter holder, and even replaced our filter for us. This is kind of a big deal since we just had our water heater replaced, and they installers did a very odd routing of the copper drainage such that unless you have two people being very creative and using some muscle, you can't get the giant filter in place which is behind the new tubing. I think they normally don't replace the filters for you, but we had the one for replacement and they did it without us having to ask- even though I know it had to be a pain. I think what probably cinched it was that our 2 dachshunds treated them as if they were part of the family as soon as they saw them (they are normally suspicious of service people). I guess dogs know nice people when they see them too. The result of the service was that our house no longer smells musty and dusty, and the air handler is not struggling to maintain a nice temperature- even though it is 90F outside today. It was much quicker than I thought it would be, taking only 2 hours for a split level, 5 bedroom, 3 bath house. Thank you Lowe's! Emily

We purchased the service in late April hoping for an early May date but the earliest they could schedule was the first week in June. Then they came a day earlier than expected without any advance call to let us know. They caught me in my pajamas totally unprepared but they handled the disruption like Professionals and went straight to work. They first explained what they would be doing and reviewed placement of all the vents within our house with me before starting their work. I appreciated that. Then they worked diligently for about two hours and sent me my receipt via email. Now the air in my home does smell better, even with three dogs running around all day!

Arrived on time, was professional. Performed all the service neatly and with care. Spotted a problem with a bathroom vent, installed backwards, and fixed it for a fee. I am interested to see if I have fewer dust bunnies all over the house. Time will tell.

They arrived on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. The only thing we didn't like is that there seemed to be some white dust below each vent that got blown out during the process, and we had to go around with a vacuum cleaner to get that all up.

I was very happy with the service. Bruno was very courteous and did a very thorough job both explaining everything and completing the job. Everything was nicely cleaned up afterward as well. I'd highly recommended this service.

We have a split system with 2 AHU so the provider added the second system for about $135 above the coupon amount of $265. Vendor called 30 minutes prior and showed up on time. Our system took a little longer since it's a split system. All work was performed quickly and efficiently. Technician was very polite and careful while within the house.

It was suppose to be a chimney sweep and inspection. I passed on the chimney sweep/inspection and requested it be closed because I will only burn candles in the fireplace. The fireplace was swept. I asked if the build up the walls could be clean off. I was told yes; for sixty dollars. The sweeper checked with his boss to see if he had time to do it. The sweeper came back and reported his boss said no because the fireplace was too old. The fireplace was built 1956; so I don't know if it true. Now that it is summer my air condition still draws smokey air from the fireplace and blows it around the house. So my problem was not resolved and the plastic goes back on the fire place.
