Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

When I booked Lowe's to clean my dryer vent, they gave me an appointment window of 1 pm - 3 pm. At 12:45 on the day of the service, one of the technicians called me to tell me that he would be at my home between 1:15 and 1:30. I appreciated this courtesy very much! The technicians showed up promptly around 1:20. They explained to me what they would be doing. They were very efficient and courteous. (I particularly appreciated that they took the time to close the gates to the back yard when they were done with their work.) When they were done, they even recommended what I could do to help prevent birds from building their nests in my home's vent.

He showed up on time, installed the light, everything went great and I would recommend them to anybody.

The technician installed the proper parts and made sure the dryer was operating correctly with the new venting. Overall they did an excellent job. The tech and his assistant were very polite and professional. They explained the problem with the venting and recommended a solution. They offered a discounted price for the additional parts needed to have the dryer working properly.

After the provider cleaned the dryer vent, we were told that if the dryer still takes too long to dry, then we need to call dryer repair service to service the dryer. It still took long time to dry so we called the manufacturer's repair service to come out and take a look (GE's own repair service). GE technician came out and took a look and said everything is working with the dryer and the duct work was not clean (less than 1 month between duct cleaning and this service appointment). Had to pay GE $99.95 to tell me that Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning did not clean the duct properly. Tried to call the company after GE tech left just now and had to leave a message (today is Saturday though - will update review if I hear back from the company). Update: Lowe's came back on the date I wrote the review (a Saturday) and cleaned the dryer duct again (inside and outside this time). The dryer is now working after 3 appointments (2 with Lowe's and 1 with GE). Wish it would work after the first appointment with Lowe's - at least they came back and fixed it promptly.

Arrived on time and ready to go. The cleaning took about 3 hours total. Upon cleaning my dryer vents, it was discovered that the dryer had been pushed back a bit far and a crack had developed in the hose. It was promptly fixed. While I did have to pay for it, as repairs were not covered in the original cost, just the cleaning, the cost was discounted. I also noticed that Lowe's did chimney cleaning. I inquired about possibly doing that in the fall and the tech said he had all the tools to do it now and gave me a discount on the cost because he was already there. Very pleased with the service.

I absolutely loved this vendor's services! The Technician was punctual and very pleasant. He was very respectful of my home, removing his shoes to avoid tracking any rainwater or mud onto my hardwood floors. He explained the cleaning process before he began services. His work was neat and efficient. He replaced all furniture that was moved to gain access to the vents and did an excellent cleaning job, not only my systems but also my air vents. He even showed me the dust and debris that was removed from my systems. I was contacted to discuss my air duct and exchange handler system before services began. I have a split system and was advised that there would be an additional charge because I have multiple systems. I appreciate there were no surprises when services were rendered. No other company that I have used for these services has done such a thorough and fantastic job. I will definitely used this vendor for these services again. They did a fantastic job for me.

Lowes Air Duct Cleaning did an awesome job. George (technician) came on time, was polite and courteous. He explained how he is going to go about the whole cleaning process and showed me the pictures of the ducts before and after cleaning them Lowe's air duct cleaning exceeded my expectations and I definitely recommend this company.

Our technician (Bruno) was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He kept us informed during each step of the process (onwhat he was doing and how long each step would take). During his visit, he reminded us that we should clean our dryer vents each year as recommended by the fire department. Unfortunately, we had not done so previously, so he was able to take care of that for us same visit. When he finished that service, he showed us the lint they had accumulated in our vent and it was a miracle it hadn't caused a fire! We are very appreciate of the services Lowe's provided us, and would definitely recommend them to friends and family. We will certainly be contracting with them regularly moving forward!

Lowe's rang and stated the time of arrival on the day of service. The technician arrived on tome, walked with me throughout the house to verify a all vents and thoroughly explained the process. Upon completing the project, the areas were let tidy and he removed all the debris.

Placed order through Angie's list on 8/3. They called to confirm a time and came on 8/7. Very prompt. We scheduled a 4-6 window, but technician called at 3 and said he could come early if possible. I agreed and he came at 3. Did a great job. Was very courteous and professional. I had removed the upstairs ceiling registers because they were old and placed new ones on the floor below the duct opening, assuming that I would replace them once he was done. I asked if he could install them when done and he said no problem. I do not think that is normally included so I was extremely happy and impressed. The house was vacant with a lock box so I left him to finish. Check on it the next day and everything was completed and left clean and tidy. Justin M.

Scheduling this service was very difficult. While trying to find a date to schedule there would be extremely long silences, screaming kids in the background and it made us doubt the professionalism of this company. It gave us enough pause that we almost just cancelled the offer right then. But it had been a long time since we had our dryer vents cleaned so we decided to stick with it. Service person arrived during the window of time, and immediately started asking about repairing the elbow and insisting that he could fix it for an extra price. When we told him that we could replace the elbow ourselves, he asked at least 4-5 more times about having him fix it. While it's entirely possible that the elbow may have been damaged, the aggressive questioning of having him repair it multiple times for an additional price left us with real doubts of the integrity of this company. He also left quite a mess in our basement. The short story is that we would not use this company again.

The technician was fast efficient and cleaned the hearth area after he was finished cleaning the chimney and firebox.

Showed up on time. Wore shoe covers. Missed vacuuming up random debris ejected from the cleaning process but other than that, all went well.

Every thing went as planned and I am extremely satisfied with the service.

We contracted for vent cleaning, including dryer vent cleaning. They said they couldn't do the dryer.

The company was great. Very punctual and professional. They showed us pictures of what the vent and ducts looked liked before and after cleaning. I would highly recommend them. There was a extra optional charge for a sanitizing deodorant spray that was not included in the package, but was well worth the extra and well priced. Either way, these guys were great and the service was excellent. I will use them again for sure, when I do this in the future.

The job was more complicated than I anticipated, but I am most certain every nook and cranny of the dryer vent system was cleaned within an inch of its life. Very pleased.

I got a call in a day from booking the deal, PLUS! My techs were super nice and professional, PLUS! My techs gave me honest information and I did not feel they were trying to upsell me on anything, PLUS! I will use them every year!

The service couldn't have been better and the professional that came to the house went way above and beyond. He was right on time and did a great job cleaning out all the air ducts and dryer vent. He even took off all the air vents and returns off and hand washed them. There was a tear in a flex duct from the dryer which he replaced as well as a crack in the dryer vent on the outside of the house which he also replaced with parts I purchased but had planned to do myself. Finally, we were having troubles recently with our dryer heating which he also troubleshooted a bit for us to see if there was anything he could do. Needless to say, they went went above and beyond the service purchased and the end result was fantastic. I would highly recommend this service for the professional and conscientious job they did.
