Description of Work: I bought a big deal for Air Duct System Cleaning (Unlimited Vents & Returns) for $175

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $225 for Air Duct Cleaning and Sanitation. That turned out fine.

Description of Work: I paid the same amount ($169) for each of my two systems. He cleaned all of the downstairs ducts, first floor and basement, first then proceeded upstairs to clean all the ducts on the bedroom level. He was finished in less than 3 hrs and did a thorough job.

Description of Work: They cleaned our air ducts. However they failed to clean out the furnace coils and the system froze up a few days later and we had to have our regular HVAC service come out for a service call to clean the coils.

Description of Work: Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning service is a quality company that does a quality job. The tech who completed my service was extremely knowledgeable, very professional and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I had had a previous company do my duct cleaning, and apparently they did not do it right as there was no hole available for the vacuum into my furnace. Lowe's cut the hole, and after completing the work they put a metal cap and metal tape to properly seal it. |Lowe's was punctual, they allowed me to schedule on a Saturday, which with pets in the home was better for me, and they were polite and great to work with throughout the process. |The Angie's List deal was fantastic, but deal or no deal, I would use Lowe's again to clean our Air Ducts in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Bought big deal through Angie's List. Great value. Service man was actually early which worked great for us but might be an issue for some. We had just bought a house that had had dogs in it for many years so cleaning the air system was urgent. We had Lowe's pull the old vent covers off and leave them off - a few days later I got new covers and a HEPA filter, and the air quality has been much improved. Would use again especially at the big deal price.

Description of Work: The first technician to arrive said the equipment would not reach and would have to be ordered. A month later, the second technician came and said no extra equipment was required and did the job. I'm confused.

Description of Work: They showed up on time and did what was in the scope of work. However, the house was not that old and so probably didn't really need much in the way of cleaning.

Description of Work: The Lowe's rep arrived on time and after a quick review of my system started work. He opened the appropriate vents, shut the others and hooked up his vacuum to the ducting and blew forced air through the ducts and employed his wisp to the main suction and return vents. He took a picture prior to work and after and it was clear that the ducts were clean when he finished. The only thing I was not expecting was the fact that I had to use up an air filter during the cleaning...this added an extra $15 expense to the service. Not the end of the world but it would be nice if they provided that filter as part of the fee. I also added on a chimney sweep service; I have two natural wood burning fireplaces. Again, before and after pictures were taken and it was obvious the flews were cleaner than when he started. Overall, I am pleased with the service and would recommend Lowe's.
