Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for air-duct cleaning. The technician, Luzber, arrived on-time and explained the process in detail. He did a thorough and efficient job, and answered all my questions fully; I learned quite a bit about my HVAC system and air ducts. I am very happy to have purchased this service from Lowes and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Description of Work: We had our HVAC vents cleaned. The previous owner of our home was a chain smoker and the vents were full of gunk. The technician came in, toured our house to see the location of all vents, and started work right away. He was quick but thorough and made recommendations for how we could improve things long term.

Description of Work: We had not cleaned our dryer vent since we moved into the house and did not realize had bad it had become. The technician straightened out some of the runs in the line for us to make the vent less likely to fill in the future. They recommended cleaning once a year. Need to see if that is about right or not

Description of Work: Very professional, he was focused on doing a good job, and he actually let us see just how dirty the cool air return duct was. There was 3" of built up filthy dirt built up over the past 15 years. I noticed that the HVAC is working much better now, and the kids are saying that it's actually colder now. Seems to me that that A/C was working overtime trying to cool our house. Thank you Lowe's. Great Job. Very Happy Customer. :))

Description of Work: The person who called me to schedule was very polite and worked around my schedule. When the day of service came, the service man showed up - first, I could hardly understand him! He asked me how long it had been since I had this service...the first time. He rolled his eyes and asked where the furnace room was. After showing him each vent he began the vent cleaning process. He called me to almost every floor vent to show me how dirty it was. He asked me to clean the vent covers. Ok, I get it...I vacuum the floor vents but he felt he needed to show me what a terrible housekeeper I was. I told him I would let my cleaners know when they come on Friday. | |He was not hired to clean the dryer vents but asked to see the dryer - again, he pulled the dryer out and said 'look at all this lint!!". My friend recommended the Groupon and paid an extra $20 to have the vents sanitized. I asked the service man if I could get that deal - "no, you did not buy that deal. Your fee will be $50. ' At the end, I paid an extra $60. I just wanted this guy out of my house. My friend had two great servicemen...I got the grumpy complainer. With all the deals out there, I will not call them again.

Description of Work: Telephone contacts went well. A window of arrival was established and provider was a few minutes late. But he did a commendable job on the furnace, vents and air ducts. With the dryer, I believe he went a little above the dryer vent cleaning. I give them an A rating and would recommend them to anyone who may need their services
