Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

Description of Work: The service provider inspected the line, cleaned out a large amount of lint and suggested that we change the ductwork. The original line was flex/expand tubing which was catching a lot more lint than a smooth tube would. |We did wind up switching the the duct work.

Description of Work: We had the air ducts cleaned in our 3 level town-home. Luzberg showed up on time. He was both professional and personable. He made sure to ask, what our needs were, as well as our expectations. He went on to explain the process. Luzberg, did a very good job. It took him almost 2 hours to complete the job. Yes, we would use LOWE'S AIR DUCT CLEANING Co. again.

Description of Work: I do not know just how to evaluate this job. The serviceman brought up the huge machine to clean the heat ducts in my condominium. He was polite but had a thick accent which I found difficult to understand. He used a long thin cylinder tube and inserted it each duct which blew air but only for a few seconds into each duct. I question whether or not in that short time, the ducts could be blown out that thoroughly. He was finished in an hour. Because I never experienced the process nor researched it, my question is "how thoroughly are the ducts really cleaned of dust and debris?" I personally do not think that placing the air tube in each duct for a few seconds is really a complete job? The covers were not removed at all; however one of the duct covers had a screw loose, and the serviceman kindly tightened it for me.

Description of Work: I purchased a service to have our ducts cleaned. While here we had them clean the dryer vent too for an additional cost. All went well until I noticed a few scratches in our hard wood floor where one of the men moved a cabinet to get to an air vent. When I pointed it out to them, they were very apologetic and offered whatever needed to be done to have the floor fixed. The boss on the job (Dan) even offered to look for a repair person for me if I did't have one. I had someone come to estimate the damage. They did a decent job of covering up the damage right then. When I gave the manager (Alexander, I believe) the cost, he immediately cut down the additional that we held out for our inconvenience (I held out the additional money for the dryer vent until the floor was repaired.). I appreciated their attempts to make me a satisfied customer. The men need to be trained to lift whenever possible as opposed to pushing any furniture around on floors that can be damaged. I wavered between "A" and "B" on quality and professionalism for that reason ~ the damage could have been avoided but I was pleased with their service and would use them again.
