Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

Called the day of the appointment was able to arrange an earlier appointment. Originally scheduled a dryer vent and air duct cleaning. When the technician inspected when he arrived, he said we only needed the dryer vent cleaning and that our air ducts were good for at least a couple more years before they needed cleaning. He showed both so I could see for myself. Very honest and did a great job with the dryer. Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

This company was EXCELLENT and made me realized that companies that I had used had before did not do a good job. My cleaner was amazing! I will never use anyone else for this service.

Showed up on time. Did the work in poor outside conditions (it was raining hard), all equipment need to be brought in the house and hoses ran from the truck. The poor guys was soaked, and I was his first appointment of the day.

Service provider was prompt & professional. He completed all work in a timely manner. We would definitely use this company again.

Writing a late review...service was performed sometime in fall 2015. Overall good people and good service. Very professional. Two workers arrived on time and explained how they could clean the ducts. Duct cleaning work was done very nicely. However, a worker who seems to be more experienced of the two, vacuumed the furnace area upon based upon my original request when I scheduled the service. Unfortunately, when he vacuumed the furnace I was paying attention to another worker and was not present next to him to ask for using the more care and less pressure/force. When I was all done, unit did not start. Upon my convincing that something must have gone wrong, he inspected the furnace area and got on call with someone at his office, did something on the PCB and fortunately the unit could start. Afterwards, I saw a review that complaint about the same issue. So, do not get your furnace coil area vacuumed by them. But overall good quality.

We just moved into the new house which was built around 1970's and the previous owner probably never had the air duct cleaned at least once. So it was eye opening how dirty the insides of the air returns were. Glad it was cleaned and we even slept better once the ducts were cleaned that evening!

Service person was pleasant and communicated well. He performed services as described in deal, but failed to prevent accumulation of dust around work areas. Especially bad was the heated cellar where the overhead registers in the ducts were not closed to prevent gritty dust accumulation on furniture and floor and clothing in the laundry area. The house required considerable vacuuming and surface dusting to clean up the mess. The service person provided guidance in selection of a more efficient air filter for the furnace. After a few days the treatment did reduce the amount of airborne dust and reduced symptoms of allergies.

It would be great if this company would have some type of video cable so that you can see the before and after. They could fit the cable in to the ducts so that they can show how dirty they were and show you after they cleaned them so that you could better rate the service on how the ducts have improved.

We were provided excellent service. We would use and recommend this company to anyone.

When Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning came out to provide the service they let me know they can't perform it because my duct access is in the crawl space. I appreciated their honesty. I have requested a refund for the Big Deal purchase. The technician and the owner were very frank and honest about it.

I purchased the Angie's list deal - they were very prompt in scheduling, courteous, professional and did a great job.

Arrived right on time, performed the work, explained what the problem was, would definitely use again.

It went okay. I gave them a B because the filter and the faucet they used messed some dust in my house after they left.

Love using Lowes for this service. They did our house a couple years ago and did our rental property this time. They are always very efficient with their time and THOROUGH. It is unbelieveable the amount of dirt they pull out of the system. Best of all, they do not need to keep your door wide open the entire time like many other companies.

I WOULD NOT recommend using Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning. The cost of the deal listed on Angie's List was $199 for one system. I had two systems and it should have been $398. I paid an additional $325. The person who came to work on my duct system had no ID from Lowe's and was not in a Lowe's truck. I should have had him provide that to me and if he couldn't, had him leave. I did not. I was very focused on getting the work done. He was unkempt in appearance. I had difficulty understanding him and there was a definite communication problem. He did appear to do the work I had requested through Angie's list. After the work was over, he told me I owed him a check for $434 for Lowe's and one for him for $90 as he had discounted items for me. He also attempted to hug me, which made me extremely uncomfortable. This is my first foray into Angie's List and I am not sure whether I will make another! Sincerely, Unsatisfied in DC

Everything was great. It was fast and easy. Plus, I received pictures of my duct before and after it was cleaned. It's amazing what they did. I'm so grateful that the job was done fast and very professionally handled. Will use them to clean the dryer duct next year!

They got the job done quickly with no fuss. They even discovered some construction waste left from the last renovation in our air ducts. Overall, they did a very professional job.

Package deal duct&chimney. Did not clean chimney with the package. In fairness did a nice job on the ducts but that should only have cost 100-150 so we really only got half of what we paid for. Representative did not go on roof, did not clear outlet ducts from the stove or the outdoor low point. The amount of soot removed from the chimney which was hard for us to inspect ourselves when someone came to do it a month later (not this company!) was appalling. There is no way it was completed. Don't waste your money on deals for chimney service in other words. Duct cleaning as advertised.
