CHRISSY MORGAN THE SALES REP WAS VERY HELPFUL FROM THE START TO THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT. SHE HELPED US CHOOSE OUR GRANITE AND KEPT US INFORMED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY THROUGH INSTALLATION.

The new granite counter tops, of a stone called mascarello, are absolutely stunning. Brian Schweikert, the designer, was terrific to work with. He gave us options, and we chose a more expensive form of granite on our own without pushing. His design was perfect, and he was punctual and easy. But the person who made this work was Chrissy, the showroom manager. The stone we originally picked from the stone company proved unavailable when the order was lost by that company (NOT Stone Design), and Chrissy took over to make sure we got what we wanted. She really went above and beyond the call. Only complaint? We had arranged for a plumber to reconnect our new sinks, but that somehow got lost in the process, and on the installation day, they arrived several hours late. That was inconvenient, but in the scheme of things, it was a minor glitch. This is a great company, and I highly recommend them.

From the very beginning, Chrissy (the showroom manager) was very helpful and responsive unlike some of the other companies I had contacted. I emailed her a basic drawing of our kitchen to get an estimate of having granite installed. She didn't get the first one I sent and emailed right away to let me know it didn't come through. The estimate was very reasonable and included a piece for our island as well as finished edge, template, install, and undermount sink cutout. Once we accepted the bid, I sent a check for half as a deposit. Chrissy sent me a list of granites and three different locations where we could go and actually view the slabs. She even offered to meet us to help in the selection process. We were put on the schedule right away for template and install but because of trouble with our kitchen remodel, I had to contact Chrissy and reschedule. I was very nervous because I though we may incur a fee or lose our deposit or something but she was great. She said she completely understood and to let her know when we were ready. As soon as our cabinets were in I emailed Chrissy who put us on the calendar right away for the following Monday for template and 2 weeks from that for install. The gentleman who came out to template for us was very professional and friendly. He used digital imaging for the template. Two weeks later the truck arrived with our countertops. The installers were great; very professional, friendly and personable. They took the time to make sure that they didn't scratch any of our appliances or new cabinets. They hooked up our sink (not plumbing) and sealed our granite with a top of the line 15 yr sealer. The counters look AMAZING! The final bill was right on the original estimate so there were no surprises. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

They were totally outstanding in all departments. Went to the granite places with us to look at the slabs. We ended up using some of their remnants (at a great savings) to do the kitchen in 2 different colors. It looks fabulous! Prices were excellent, job was quality done. We are happy.

Brian was very professional, and Mary Kay was very helpful, and she even met me at a granite source to decide on a product. The installation crew was very fast and good. I needed to have some cabinets removed and Brian recommended someone to me who was just excellent and very knowledgeable. My only setback was that my sink was ordered backwards (small sink was on the wrong side), but I overlooked it since I really couldn't do anything about it.

Disappointed! Purchased a quartz countertop & sink for the kitchen.. We knew what we wanted when we went into the store, so they did not show us anything. Install date was suppose to be April 16. The install date was changed many time by Stone Design, not us. Finally got installed on June 1. I had to keep calling them, they should have called me with updates. It took a week for their plumber to return to fix the leaking sink. There was a slight crack in the stone which was found after the install. We came to a cash settlement. Disappointed in this company.

Great overall. Brian was there when he said he would be and produced a very accurate template with his laser system. Brian and Mary Kay were both very kind and accommodating. We put off our install date until we were sure the granite was laid out like we wanted. Our island piece had a lot of movement and we wanted to include certain sections and avoid others. Even though Brian had said we had to start in a corner, he was very accommodating and did not make us do that so we could use the parts of the stone we wanted. We also had gotten another estimate using the exact same stone for the exact same work and edges. That estimate was $6K for the same work. Brian only made us pay for the stone we actually used. Other fabricators made us pay for the entire slab even though we did not need a whole slab and that accounts for some of the difference in price. Brian also gave us a discount on our ogee edge for being an Angie's List member which was nice. Having worked with three granite fabricators in the Cincinnati area, I will always go with Stone Design in the future and never go anywhere else. Best prices and quality work.

Excellent experience. I had a narrow time frame is which I was requesting service, they totally accommodated my timing. The price was competitive with other quotes, and they were very easy to work with. They cleaned up everything completely and were very thorough in their care instructions. They plumber came the following day as promised, actually showed up a few minutes early. I would highly recommend Stone Design.

I was very pleased with them. They have been recommended to me by a couple of my friends. They did a great job. They were on time and they came in with a crew of three gentleman. They were not just quick in doing the job, but they also did an excellent job in installing the granites. They did a really nice job between two pieces of granites and matching them and putting them together so that you don’t have liquid falling through it. When they put the back slash they use a seal on that. Other people have come over and told me that they did an outstanding job on that. They said they had seen other people do that job and it looks horrible. The job they did was very well done. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up. They had drilled holes and they made sure they cleaned up very well so that there was no dust all over.

My only issue was the length of time that it took to find the slab of granite that I wanted at their supplier (Dal-tile) and this was just me knowing what I really wanted and waiting for it to come in. I was worried about picking the right company that would do a really good job on the installation and their installation crew was excellent. The one seam that I have is very smooth and the cutout that they did to fit a sink that I already had was very well done to fit the unique shape of my sink. I would recommend this company to my friends.

Stone Designs were extremely professional and customer focused in the service they provided. The suggested a very creative solution to meet our needs. Their service was excellent as was the quality of their craftmanship in creating a chiseled edge for one of our countertops and a custom bevel for the other two. The installation went off without any problems and we were completely satisfied with the quality of the product and service. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so with complete confidence.

Overall, its was a good experience. Punctuality was an issue, but the job was done well and the counter-tops and sink look good.

We had selected our granite at a distributor and had thought we would work with a different fabricator. The distributor was lukewarm about that fabricator. We then received a quote from Stone Design which was a better price. When we told the distributor that Stone Design would be coming in to help select the slab, the sales staff cheered as they felt we were making a better choice on fabricator. Mike Combs helped us pick out the slabs. When they came out to measure for the granite, our contractor wasn't quite ready so they had to come back. We had a design for the step up bar area which we thought Stone Design would help us template. They did not do that as our previous fabricator indicated he would. Store Design was all computerized and not equipped to make a template. We had to do that ourselves. We did get to lay out on the slabs where we wanted the various pieces of the counter-top cut from. The installation went smoothly and was well done. There were two small pieces that were not siliconed down because the cook-top was not in. When I called to have they complete that and to fill some voids in the counter-top (mostly in the fissures of the stone), they were reluctant to come out until I pressed with our salesperson. They eventually came out and completed the job.
