Individual appeared to be in a hurry...offered a suggestion for us to remove the drywall before an estimate could be given. In and out of my house in 5 minutes. Seem to be disinterested. Never received a follow up call. So, we looked else where.

They were professional but I didn't really like the price.

We discovered that we had a horizontal crack in 3 walls of our block foundation wall. We hired a structural engineer to review the home, and in his report he recommended several companies that do good work, one of which was Jaco. Adam Tebbe came to my home on multiple occasions to review the job, and to assess the walls after paneling was removed. Adam even went above and beyond by calling the structural engineer that we had hired, to ask him questions and review Jaco's solution. I felt Jaco was very trustworthy, had a good reputation, and most importantly they did what they said they would do. I would recommend them to anyone.

It went very well. It was the first time we had used them. We would use them again.

I sent a picture of the crack and was immediately given a price for the repair that was very reasonable. The repair was scheduled for a couple of days later. The worker doing the repair was very professional. The crack has been completely dry since the repair. I would definitely recommend this company.

Jaco came out to give us an estimate on lifting some slabs on our front walk way. They were able to come out the day after we first contacted them. We were given an immediate estimate and then called the next day to set up the work. They were able to schedule us for the next day. Since the work was outside we were able to have them come while we were both at work. The work was exactly what we wanted and we were impressed with how little you could tell that the slabs had been disturbed. All in all, great work and service with the time frame from first contact to finish being only a few days! We will for sure use them again if needed for other services!

Called during the holidays and was still able to get the work done quickly. Called before coming out as promised during the defined time. Walked us through the procedure. All and all, easy.

I also invited them back for an estimate for something but I didn’t use them. They fixed the crack with an injection. I was happy with them. The person who actually came in to do the job was Adam. He did an excellent job. He was really great in terms of answering my questions and talking to me. The answer of the person who I invited for the estimate was that I have to break the wall in order for him to diagnose anything. One place in the bathroom which is where they did the repair, I was able to do that. But in another place in my basement I didn’t know where the water was coming from. So I couldn’t break the wall in the basement. He said that there was nothing he could do then. I felt a little bit dismissed. They are waterproofing company and they should know other ways to identify where the water was coming from without breaking walls. I found another company that was able to come in and take a look at things. They talked to me and they offered a much more comprehensive solution that was not so expensive. He also said that work would be due to certain reasons, to give it a couple of weeks and if it doesn’t change then it could be a problem. But he said that it could be a temporary thing, which it was. But with Jaco Waterproofing, the second time when I called them, they didn’t even come to see and just told me over the phone that I would just have to break the wall. I wasn’t particularly thrilled with them the second time. They were able to identify the crack the first time and they did an excellent job. They did it quickly, efficiently and they cleaned everything up after themselves. They also offered like a 10-year warranty. So if it happens again, they would fix it. I am happy with that part.

With the extreme heavy rains this year, I had new leaks appear in my basement. Jaco treated the three spots by injecting foam. They were prompt, professional, and helpful. We have had heavy rains since the repairs, and the spots are not leaking.

The service man was punctual, efficient and clean. He was in and out in less than an hour with the crack sealed and mess cleaned up. So far the crack has not leaked anymore water and there is a lifetime guarantee. I am very satisfied with this contractor and would recommend them to anyone.

I spent $300 on the job. They were quick, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will use them again in the future.

My experience with Jaco was top notch fantastic from the beginning. These guys really really know what they are doing. If I had to compare them to the other 4 companies that I got estimates from and talked to, there is no comparison with regard to quality, professionalism, and respect for me and my property.. The fact that my house was settling and the walls were cracking was extremely traumatic, but working with Jaco was stress-less. From the first meeting with Matt to help me understand what type of underpinning should be done and why, to the last meeting to go over the warranties, everything went perfectly. Matt was extremely responsive and knowledgable - always having patience and professionalism even to some of my more ridiculous questions, since I didn't know much about piering a house! I appreciated being treated like a customer and not someone who should just take their word for it. He also kept me informed of any changes due to weather, which helped me plan my schedule. Todd and crew showed up on time or early, worked all day and stayed late, and left my yard and house in fantastic shape. They even went as far as to bring out smaller equipment and put down plywood so my front lawn would not be torn up. On the day the house was lifted, they took their time and made sure everything was level and done right. Our house is 4400 sq feet, and so many things could of gone wrong - but they didn't because things had been planned out right and done with competence and professionalism. The one issue I had was some bushes had been put back too close together - the guys came back the next business day and moved them where I wanted them to go - no questions asked - even though that wasn't part of the contract at all. They also seeded and put down straw the same day (something other companies don't even include). You would think with this kind of work the price would be out of control - but it wasn't - in fact, it was slightly lower than the other bids! They took only 3 days to put in 15 piers - sometimes drilling to 30 feet. After the house was lifted, 3 days later another man came out to inject a crack in our basement foundation with urethane/expoxy in the interior of the house. Again, nothing but competent, professional demeanor and a GREAT job. I'm so happy that our foundation will not be moving or leaking anymore. The warranties that they give for the piers and the injections are the best - 25 years for the piers and 10 years for the cracks. (I discovered a lifetime warranty is only technically valid for 7 years in the state of Ohio after educating myself on many of these things related to such a major project!) I had many worries about how this project would go, but would (and am recommending to others already) Jaco to anyone who needs piering or waterproofing. I have also hired them to come out to lay a concrete patio and sidewalk where the old one used to be before it had to be taken out. I'm excited to have that done in the next month or so. I'm sure that with this company it will be fantastic! Just couldn't be happier.

Contacted JACO to repair leak in basement foundation after receiving a $26,000 (yes three zeros) quote from Everydry Basement. JACO promised to fix the cause of the leak for $340, which they have to our delight. The technician arrived early for the appointment and finished the job in about 25 minutes. The only con I have is that we also asked them for a quote on emergency egress systems/exterior drainage systems, since our structural engineer suggested we make these improvements as we sealed the leak. They promised to follow up with more information, but have not. I would have preferred them to tell me that that is not their area of expertise or that they were not interested in this type work so that I can move on finding a contractor for this step. But in terms of the basement leak being fixed, we are satisfied and would use them again.

I found them to be very responsive and knowledgeable and I did get a lower bid from another company that ended up doing the work.

My wife talked to them and she thought they were a little bit brisk and didn't answer a lot of her questions. They came and gave us a quote and then were out in 5-10 minutes so she wasn't too impressed with them. I think they were pretty professional, it was turned around pretty quickly. Something about them turned her off.

5 days from request for repair the job was complete. On time, explained details of what was being done, and completed to satisfaction. Leak sealed and so far no problems.

Not satisfied with them not even coming out to look at the problem.

The staff were very friendly and responsive. An estimate for the repair was provided promptly, and the repair was also scheduled promptly. Although the installation technicians showed up about an hour or so later than expected, the installation only took a couple of hours. A warranty for the work quickly arrived in the mail after the work was completed.

This was a large job that took 5 full days, but the crew was on time and worked hard to keep everything on schedule. They did not take a break and move onto other jobs, but worked 5 straight days until it was finished. They even stayed until 7pm one evening to make sure the holes were dug properly for the county inspector and structural engineer's appointment the next morning. They were professional and communicated to us at each step. The sales person we dealt with was also easy to reach and answered all of our questions.They had to remove some landscape but did clean up very well when they were done. We were very happy with the work and would definitely recommend. We will be having some slabjacking work done in the future and will use them for this as well. I would definitely recommend this company.

Bill came out the same day I put out the request for quotes. He was knowledgeable, personable and was able to explain the situation in lay mans terms without being condescending. His team was on time every day, cleaned up after themselves, were polite and skilled in their work. Not the cheapest bid I got, but I am confident that the problem is resolved ... permanently.

It has held up very well and worked perfectly fine for us. They came on time and did the injection molding into the foundation and there have been no leaks. They were on time, professional and effective, but also a little sloppy. The process works, I haven't had any further leaks there. I would use them again, but I'd watch them a little closer to make sure they were neater.
