Front porch and sidewalk had sunk several inches over the years and the sidewalk was a tripping hazard. We had poured a cement step from the porch to the sidewalk as it had sunk that much. Jaco lifted the porch and raised the sidewalk so that it was level with the front porch, which eliminated the need for the cement step we had added. On the rear screened-in porch, the cement had sunk on opposite sides and we had a gap between the cement floor and the wooden baseboards. The gap was large enough that chipmunks could get in on the patio. The cement was raised enough to close the gaps. The two gentlemen who did the job were very polite and professional. The job was completed in one day and they cleaned up everything before they left. John, the sales person was also very professional. We would highly recommend Jaco for concrete lifting.

We called Jaco in because we found water seeping into a small closest area and a bedroom in our finished basement. We removed some drywall and found a large 8 foot crack (ceiling to floor). This crack looked to have been filled with caulking. Jaco came in and did their crack injection. They were very good and quick. We haven't seen water come in since and it has rained serveral times (heavy rain). John with Jaco was great as well, made us feel comfortable and was always ontime and returned our calls when needed. Thanks Jaco, hopefully we won't need your services again, but if we do, we'll make sure to call you.

After having 3 different contractors take a look who didn't want to 'tackle' the project because of concerns of major foundation issues. Jay came out to give it a look. He knew that this was a project he could handle, and we were confident in his knowledge and ability to meet our needs. I ripped off the deck to expose the patio for him to repair. He came back ~2 weeks later to complete the repair. He accomplished this on a Sunday, in 2-3 hours. Clearly explained what he was doing, and what he did to accomplish it. Said the work would be warrantied from the home office, and to call him back if there were any leaks and he would give it another seal. Overall, we were happy with the project, and glad we found Jay! Would recommend he take a look at your project in the future.

Jay of Jayco was friendly, informative, and always professional. He explained the process of repairs to us and walked us through what would occur in detail. I contacted multiple other companies (seven or eight) who either did not return my phone calls, did not have the expertise to complete the repair, or in one case simply appeared they did not want to do the work (e.g. stating they "could" do it, though because of small crawlspace area, they likely would not agree to do it). We knew repair would be a few weeks out due to job demands, and when bad weather pushed us back further, we were made aware of this. Thankfully, we had insulated the area during the winter months, and therefore were able to wait additional two weeks; of note, we were out of town part of one of the weeks, and so this delay was partially due to our schedule. Jay walked his crew what he wanted the day prior to the project starting the following day. The crew was polite, professional, and completed the work in three days for us. Jay came to check on the work on two occasions to ensure it was properly performed and up to his standards. Overall, it was a very positive experience, especially as a first time home-owners. We would highly recommend Jayco, and Jay especially; he is hard working, friendly, and made the experience pleasant and easy. We will not hesitate to contract services through them as needed in the future.

Major project - extensive de-construction, basement has been fine since.

The person we met with was honest and said that it would be a long while before his company could help because they were back logged from the rain and this was a very small project. He gave us recommendations and was very nice. I would use this company for a future larger project.

The crew was on time, as best the rain would allow, and did a very professional job in the basement and outside. They had to work around frequent rain days outside, so the job took a little longer than we expected, but they were back on the job as soon as the weather allowed. Matt, the estimator, also fixed a small item for me beyond what I had requested, which was a pleasant surprise. Very pleased with the whole experience.

After getting several quotes to have a drain added to a basement window well, I ended up going with Jaco Waterproofing. I went with Jaco, not just because of the lower quote, but largely due to the positive reviews I had read. I was not disappointed. In this day and age where customer service is lacking, my experience with Jaco was excellent. They were prompt, got right to work and finished in the time frame they set. While they were there, they diagnosed a basement leaking issue I was having. A day later, they returned to mix that problem. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Jaco Waterproofing.

They did a superior job much better than the last company. They arrived on time. They are very percise in their work.

We have not experienced any leaks from those cracks as of this date. Repair is guaranteed for 10 years if memory serves correctly.

The man who came to do the estimate spent a lot of time helping me find the leak because it was covered by drywall and I had to cut into the wall to find it. He was very patient while this went on. We found a crack that originated from the basement window and ran diagonally across the wall. This cracked leaked only occasionally, so we had to run the hose on the outside to make sure we had found the right one and the only one. He probably spent more time helping with the estimate than the actual repair, which he did a few days later. Since the repair, it has rained hard only once , but I washed my house near the leak, so a lot of water went in that area. I feel pretty confident that the leak has stopped. He used two types of patching materials - very professional job. I think this was a fairly small job for him, and I appreciate that he didn't make me feel like it was.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the work Jaco Waterproofing performed. The estimator did have a mix-up on the estimate appointment, but he was apologetic and waited for me to arrive at the house for the appointment an hour earlier than expected. The estimate came in right about as I had expected. On the day the work was completed, the contractors were punctual. They were very friendly and willing to answer any of my questions regarding the work and any follow-ups. They took away all cement waste and left the basement as clean as they found it. They were careful to put plastic down over the carpet they needed to walk over when moving materials in and out of the basement. At this point, the work appears to have been done very well and no further water has been observed in the basement. I would absolutely recommend their services or use them again if necessary.

The representative was nice during the initial quote, although he came on the wrong day. Later, he was hostile and yelled at me. I would never use them--people should not treat customers this way. I guess maybe I am not a customer because they never returned calls and I could not get a time for them to come out for two separate jobs. But, I definitely tried over the course of 3 months.

The estimator answered questions, offered good advice on the problems I showed him, and gave price quotes on the spot. I accepted the proposal and the work was scheduled for the same week. The workers were punctual and professional. The slab was raised and restored back to approximately level position without damaging the concrete. The basement wall cracks were injected. I was told to let it cure for a week and then I could remove the excess polyurethane, the epoxy seal, and the injection ports. The excess polyurethane resulted on the outside where the cracks which went all the way through the wall were above ground. It also occurred on the inside where it leaked out the top of the wall and ran out from under the sill plate. I was a bit disappointed that they left this work for me to do. A week later, I chiseled it off with a paint scraper and a hammer. This took me about 3 hours and was a bit of effort. However, I am pleased with the results as my basement has remained dry. Since the repair, we have had heavy rains including one rain that lasted for 3 days. Before the repair I am sure that amount of rain would have caused water leaks. The Crack injections are warranted in writing for 10 years not to leak and the slab is warranted for 3 years not to settle. The warranties are transferable, which I think would be very helpful if Idecided to sell the house.

My overall experience with them went very well. They were easy to work with. They knew their product line and what would best suite our repairing aids. They were punctual. They did a good job with the repairs. The only thing that I would say, as I can think of, they could have cleaned up a little bit better outside than what they did. Based on the estimates we got, their price was fair.

We had several diagonal cracks in our basement walls that seeped water after storms. We were interested in getting those fixed before finishing our basement. We contacted Jaco Waterproofing and spoke to a receptionist. Because we are an hour from Dayton and an hour from Cincinnati, she told us one of the offices would call us back. 2 days later, Ron Smith from the Dayton Jaco office called. He was helpful on the phone, answering all of our questions. We set up an appointment for the following week for him to come out, inspect, and give us a free estimate. Ron was on time for his appointment. He inspected each of the cracks, telling us which cracks needed repair and how the repair should be completed, through the injection method. He thoroughly answered our questions, including how the injection repair differed depending upon whether the crack was leaking or dry. Knowing that he would not be able to do any injection repairs until the following week, he went ahead and placed injection nozzles and epoxy on one of the cracks for us for free. That way, if we decided to go with Jaco, the epoxy would already be cured even as the temperatures warmed and the water seeped. We also asked Ron questions about installing an egress window well in our basement. He thoroughly discussed the procedure, and answered all of our questions. He gave us a written estimate of each of the repairs we requested, including information on the warranties. The 10-year warranty was included with the work, and a 20-year warranty was available for extra. We decided to use Jaco's services to seal three cracks and Ron called us back after a day or so to set up the appointment for the following week. He was on time for the second appointment, and went right to work sealing three cracks. He did a great job of applying epoxy to the cracks (very aesthetically pleasing!). He then injected one crack from floor to ceiling and two cracks from floor to window well, doing a good job of catching any overflow. The repairs took several hours to complete, and Ron engaged us in conversation while he worked, answering more of our questions. We did not get the warranty that day, but did get it in the mail several days later. So far, there have been no leaks or seeps from the walls, and we are happy with the repairs that Ron did. We recommend Ron for his timely, professional, and quality work, and look forward to working with Jaco in the future.

They explained things clearly. They do a great job and I like that they have life time warranties. They were the only company initially who would seal the cracks quickly which was convenient. Their pricing is comparable to other companies.

They did exactly what they said they there going to do. I have not had any issues since. 2 employees came out and it took them a couple of hours. Scheduling was fine and they showed up time. The one thing that was the upside with this company is they were willing to address a small area for me. They also have a good guarantee and guaranteed what they did for me, for life; which is also transferable with the house.
