EverDry of Cincinnati is a full service basement waterproofing and foundation repair company. Our patented multi-step system is chosen by the vast majority of out customers.
We signed a contract with them but we've not experienced any services yet. Whatever services you want, they have different quotes for. If you wanted to do the inside, it would be a quote, if want to do the outside, that would be a quote and if you want to do inside and out, that would be a different quote. We decided to go with them just needing service to be done as far as our basement. We just needed to have a professional. The price they quoted was high.
Description of Work: They did give us a quote.

The guys that were on the team were excellent. They showed up at the time they said they would be at the house and began work right away. The foreman explained what they were going to do each day and even showed me where alot of the water was entering my house. Although throughout the process my basement looked extremely messy, they cleaned up everything in the end and I was able to continue finishing the basement without having to clean up after them. They were even generous enough to remove an old stationary tub and install a new lighter version. I did have to call them back to have them take away the old tub because their truck was full on the Friday when they finished, but by the following Tuesday, a second crew came out and removed the tub. The one side of the basement had ceramic tile and the guys were very carefull to only take out the first two rows of 12" tiles. They were very careful not to break the other adjacent tiles which allowed me to only have to replace the tiles they removed instead of fixing additional broken tiles. BH Cincinnnati, OH
Description of Work: Provider installed a sump pump, installed a drain around interior of the perimeter of the basement, and placed a drain system around the exterior of the home where grass or mud met the house.

They were great. It went great. They did a great deal of what they asked us to do. I have no complaints about it. I thought the price was high bet when I saw how they did it and how quickly they completed it, it was worth it. They cleaned up the mess.
Description of Work: We used Everdry waterproofing. They dug a trench all the way around the house on the outside and they put the gravel. They did pretty much on the inside all the way around the basement. So the water would go into the trench and into a pump.

I first learned about Everdry waterproofing back in 2006 when my parent?s basement flooded due to ground water. The house was built in 1987, so I guess their original foundation finally weakened over the years to the point of letting water in ? and once water found a way in? it really came in, water pooled a couple inches deep all the way back to the staircase. After Everdry ?s repair in 2007 my parent?s basement stayed dry. In fact, my mom used the basement to do jewelry crafts and my dad had a little woodworking shop down there where he made guitars. That was then. May 2015, in preparation to selling my parents house, I could not find any of the old paperwork associated with the basement waterproofing. The fact is: I didn?t even remember the name of the company my parents used to do the work. We live out of the area (about a 9 hour drive). The one thing I did remember was my mom saying that her waterproofing had a lifetime guarantee. So, I finally ?Googled? waterproofing- in Cincinnati Ohio with the idea of working my way down the list of companies until I found the contractor that fixed my parent's basement, or until I ran out of options. The first call I made was to Everdry. Top of the Google search result. Amazing!! And the young lady on the phone said, ?yes we have your contract on file?. Later that month, I drove to Cincinnati to meet an Everdry inspector at the house. As we walked around my parent?s house the inspector made notes on new repairs that needed to be done. Their warranty is exceptional, all of the repairs were covered. Everdry replaced the original sump-pump, they patched several new settlement cracks, they replaced an air vent on the side of the house and they fixed the outside sump exhaust where the lawnmower had chopped it off. I cannot speak highly enough of Everdry waterproofing. Everdry came back 8 years later and took care of everything, Above and Beyond what you would expect. And with no extra charges? When is the last time that ever happened??
Description of Work: Everdry- replaced a (still-working) 9 year old sump pump and installed a new sump exhaust port that was chopped off by the lawncare company, they treated all foundation settlement cracks and they re-certified their original waterproofing contract.

We choose not to do anything that night and the next morning I called 3 other companies. They ALL immediately knew I had called Everdry. They also ALL knew that the water meter went off everywhere in our house and that the mold test came back positive as apparently they do in every house that Everdry visits. In the end the 3 new companies all came out and looked at our foundation and said that NOTHING needed to be done. The all insured me that our house is perfectly safe and structurally sound. They also told me that if there was ever water from those cracks they could fix it for about $1,000 and that would include a lifetime transferable warranty. DO NOT USE EVERDRY! WHAT A SCAM! THEY PREY ON WOMEN & ELDERLY! I would just hate to see someone fall victim to this.
Description of Work: We found 2 small cracks in our foundation on the outside of our house. We called Everdry to come out and give us a quote. Not only did we get a quote but we had a whole "show" put on for us! They used fake testing meters as well as performed a mold test, which I will mention later. They gave us the quote of $24,000 to complete the work and then used high pressure sales and scare tactics to attempt us to purchase right there. Saying we could receive $3,000 off if we signed that night, but then there was no changing out minds. They also threw out the "safety" of my children and "what a good parent would do". They also ripped up our carpet in our basement without are approval and then just left it for me to put back down - thanks a lot! The inspector kept trying to tell me that my sump pump was also a radon mitigation system, which it is clearly not.

They did a pretty good job. We are very happy with it. We were starting to build-up some moisture on our foundation so they do these trenches on the inside and the outside of the foundation which allows the water not to build up inside. We’ve had no problems at all. They were expensive but they did a good job.

I was pleased that even with the rain that we had the one day that the men who were working continued to work like the sun was shining. We had one problem regarding very close working conditions around our water heater and someone broke the temperature dial. We mentioned it and they took immediate action in replacing it - no questions asked. Also, the past couple of days there has been hard rain and it's the first time my basement has been dry in 37 years. Glad we had it done. Their initial presentation was very thorough regarding the different plans they offered and the cost of each. They didn't try and high pressure us into taking any of them, but explained the end results that could happen with each. When they arrived some of the stuff in the basement hadn't been moved and even though they had asked us to move it they went ahead and safely moved it and didn't grumble about it. I'd recommend them to anyone needing waterproofing. nkk Silverton, OH

They always arrived on time, even a few minutes early. The men worked very hard and continuously. They were all polite and they cleaned the mess up quite well. This was a lot of heavy work! I don't know how much the men made, but they earned every penny!
Description of Work: The workers drilled a trench along the perimeter of the basement wall. Since most of the gravel under the basement had washed out after about 60 years, they pumped in new gravel to fill the space under the basement. (The salesman had demonstrated to me he difference in the sound when he tapped on the basement floor in different spots. There was a hollow sound around much of the basement floor.) They laid a mylar type sheeting in the trench on both the inside and outside. On the outside of the house all around the foundation of the house they painted a black substance to help seal the wall. They laid new drain pipes underground to drain water away from the house. After filling the trenches on the inside of the basement and outside along the perimeters with cement (I believe) the "Easy Breath" and sump pump were installed in the basement. After the new cement in the basement was dry they applied a border all along the bottom of the inside of the basement.

Our basement used to leak every time it rained until we have it waterproofed. We live in an area with a high water table and drainage used to be terrible. About a year after the installation, we had some slight leaking down our basement walls. We called Everdry and they came out immediately to assess and repair. We haven't had a problem since. (C.L. Anderson Township, Cincinnati)
Description of Work: Everdry dug around the outside of our house and put in drainage tiles and gravel. They also dug around the perimeter/walls of our basement and put in drainage tiles and gravel. They repoured the concrete in the basement and put in a sump pump. In addition, we had a dehumidifier mounted in the basement that we use to control the humidity level in the house.

It took about 3-4 days. They removed all of the plants from outside the area where they needed to work, kept them alive and replanted them after they were done with the work. They dug up around the house where the problems were. fixed the leaks inside and out and replaced the soil when they finished. They put up a water barrier around the floor. They installed a very unique humidifier that keeps the basement free of dampness and mildew. They also installed a sump pump and a ditch for the pipe to drain it. They thoroughly cleaned up the mess afterwards and sent someone out days later to take care of anything that might have been left unattended to. We have not had any problems with water in our basement since then. We are very happy and would highly recommend them to anyone having a leaky basement. D.M. Alexandria, Ky
Description of Work: Everdry waterproofed our horrible leaking basement. Part of it was flooded with about 4 inches of water that would not drain. They got rid of the water and prevented more water from ever coming in again.

My house is 84 years old. The waterproofing protocol was necessary to preserve the foundation. Everdry's work essentially saved my house and property.
Description of Work: This was a follow-up visit. I had the entire waterproofing work done approximately four years ago with a lifetime warranty. Everdry is a very professional company. Their initial work was outstanding, and they have returned several times to address small issues, always promptly and always rendering excellent service with excellent results.

Ever Dry Waterproofing came highly recommended to us by a friend who?d hired them the previous summer to waterproof her basement. They proved to be everything she?d said: they were reliable, trustworthy, and professional at all times. We had the complete indoor and outdoor waterproofing system installed, and the job was implemented exactly as discussed. The men worked four consecutive days, not working on or starting another job until ours was finished. We felt that our job had their complete attention and focus. Their work met, if not surpassed our expectations, and we would not hesitate even a second to recommend Ever Dry to anyone who needs basement waterproofing. I would like to add that I was surprised AND delighted at how VERY little damage was done to my plants surrounding the perimeter of my house; only a minimal amount of ground cover was lost. More importantly, we have not had a single drop of water in our basement since the waterproofing system was installed, and we have had some fairly substantial rains during those ten months. What a relief! It's one of the BEST things we ever did to our house, and my only regret is that we didn't have Ever Dry do this years sooner. bap in Cincinnati

It went very well. The company reresentative was very professional when he came ot our home to explain the process. Once we agreed to have this service performed, a date was set for a couple of months in the future (they were booked!) To our surprise they actually called and came a few weeks early. The men(workers) that came to our home to do the actual work were very punctual and professional. They explained in detail exactly what the process entailed. The process included digging around the outside of our house and waterproofing the foundation. Then they dug all around the inside wall in the basement itself. That was a huge mess but somehow, they managed to keep it to a minimum. I barely knew what was going on. They covered all the things in my basement with plastic as well as cleaning up the debris as they went. What a great job! Since we had Everdry in our home, no more leaky basement. The basement is dry and I have no fear of water coming in at all. Thank You Everydry! DS Morrow Ohio

They totally oversold us! They quoted us a $21,000-$22,000 solution that we were able to have a structural engineer rectify for $2,500. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If the job could've been done for a lesser price, I can't justify their bid. They made it sound like my house was going to continue to flood if I didn't go with them. Their only other option would be to dig a trench on the inside of my finished basement around the perimeter -- and it was only about $5,000 cheaper.
Description of Work: They got us an estimate to waterproof the basement. They offered to dig up around the foundation on the inside and outside.

The EverDry process is very thorough. They trenched around the inside wall in the basement, the outside of the house and put in their air system. I have a model railroad around several points of the wall in the basement. I jacked it up 3 1/2 inches and they worked under it. The crew covered the layout with plastic to keep out the dust off from busting up the concrete. The carpet in the basement had been wet from water leakage and needed to be replaced. They cut it along the wall and removed a 1 1/2 foot strip along the wall. They put a drain pipe and sand in the trench and drilled holes in the cement blocks to drain off water in the wall. They replaced the cement floor over the pipe. They cleaned up the mess and installed two sump pumps, one for backkup, and back up battery power system. The crew was polite and professional. Their work was done timely. They installed a plastic sheet in the trench around the house and drain pipe to carry water around the house away. The water was carried away from the house in PVC pipe and drains in the yard. The crew also installed their air system that circulates moist air out of the basement. They cleaned up when it was all over. The result was a dry basement that has remained dry through the wet springs for over five years. My only regret is not having it done sooner.

It went great! It was a full week's job and on the last day they even brought 2 crews to meet their deadline. They were on time every day, worked non-stop and full on every day. The results have been great! The basement is now dry and I don't have to worry about water damage. The battery went out on the sump pump and they came out right away to replace it. They've been great to work with. Even before they started they did a thorough job on assessing the situation and giving us the estimate.
