We were very impressed with the work done on our neighbor’s house. Your workers, Ricky and Thomas, introduced themselves and apologized in advance for any mess in our yard (there was none). They arrived early and worked until late in the afternoon, during the hottest days of this summer. Our neighbor was pleased with his new gutters, leaf filters and downspouts. We were impressed with Allgood’s professionalism.
Description of Work: It was our neighbor’s project. They did a great job.

had person come out on March 3,2020. person came out on March 10 for final measurement. never heard a word back on when they were coming out for installation. Sent them an email on April 14 from their website. No response. contacted the person who came out to sell me the window. told me they were closed down for quarintine. Would have been nice if they would have contacted me. Contacted Elliott again on May 15th to see where the progress was. He said he get back intouch with me. I told him on how upset I was with this process and he said he was going to talk with his manager. but guess mangement don't care since I never heard back. They finally called on May 22nd and said they can install my window on May 27th. Installers came out (Elliott told me they don't use contractors but that was who showed up at my house) Only took them 1 1/2 hr to replace a 84X59 window. Father/son team. Father told me with his back problems, he shouldn't be working but he said he was. Son left some calking on outter window where I can't get to. They took down my blinds, when I ask if they were putting them back up, son say no because of caulking. Caulking was not where blinds were. He ask if father showed me how the windows work. I said no and he said well, it works just like the old one. the also left the stickers on the windows (son said hot water will take them off... b.s. I had to use goo be gone). also got screwed on fianancing. Elliot didnt' tell me that syncrony bank charged $99 for the 18 months same as cash. I just paid off entired bill and cancelled that card. They tv ad is not true, they didnt' save me alot of money. they cause me alot of stress for being a woman and I felt they took advantage of me.

I had windows installed at my home yesterday, and was beyond offended by the behavior of the lead installer. I have two extremely friendly dogs, one pit bull mix and one beagle mix. Both were gated into the back room, out of the way of the installers. This installer had the unbelievable audacity to come into my home and launch a tirade about what terrible dogs pit bulls are and how no one should be allowed to own them. Mind you, he is standing 5 feet from my sweet pittie, who was sitting calmly, wagging her tail. Not to mention, he is in MY house…getting paid with MY money, and is insulting me and my loved one. He never had to interact with the dogs. They caused him no inconvenience. There was absolutely NO REASON for him to say anything. I understand that pit bulls are not for everyone. But, if you are in a paying customer’s home and the dog (regardless of the breed) is not hindering you from doing your job, keep your opinions to yourself. It bears mentioning that AllGood has been in my home before: two visits by the salesperson and one previous installation. If one of the installers feels so strongly about certain animals, perhaps it is worth noting, as to not send him into homes that have said animals in them. AllGood will not get one more dollar of my money…And I have shared my story with everyone that will listen. I had windows installed with AllGood two years ago and this installation was MUCH lower quality than my previous installation. They also left a tube of caulk laying on my bed.

Cancelled the contract when roof was going to be $1500 more than first quoted. (Was told the measurement was off) Allgood tried to work with me to come to some kind of agreement but I personally felt as though I couldn't trust them and I was too frustrated to try to negotiate any further. I rated the company a D for professionalism because when the measurement mistake was discovered they tried to get me to agree to the additional cost or have the roof put on with lower quality materials. I believe that as professionals and standing on the integrity of their family based business they would have offered to just do the work and eat the cost. They did eventually offer to do just that but after I had cancelled the contract and spent some time on the phone with the regional manager. They were willing to do the work for that price if I agreed to a sign in my yard and allowed them to use pictures for advertisement. Since I was leery about their business practices, I did not want to advertise for them and I ultimately decided to try elsewhere At this point I am still without a roof--decided to give the search and dealing with sales people a rest for awhile!!!

Not good, they tried there best to blame the leaking windows on the installer , its clearly a poor window
Description of Work: I had $ 6,700 worth of windows put in back in September 2015 all 8 windows leak air worse then the windows they took out, allgoodwindows sent a service tech out 4 times, last time they put trick felt strips in, the windows are now very hard to open and shut, and lock. Allgood will not refund any money for loss of heat, and waste of my time dealing with them.i filed a complaint with bbb to get the word out. I would not recommend them to anyone, very pushy salesman, and you have to keep on them to get to do anything. why anyone would sale you wkndows that will not stand up to wind is beyond me, after telling them I need windows that will stand high winds, as in the country it gets real windy

Back in Feburary 2015 AllGood Home Improvements sold us three windows and installed them. The caulking fell out of all three of the windows they installed and they cracked. They sent sub contractors out to fix them. Then after a month went by the next thing that happened the caulking fell inside of the home after they caulked on top of caulking. Two months later they tore out all the old caulking and put new in. This was their third time to attempt to do it right. It does not look good at all. All around poor craftsmanship. Second, we purchased new gutters, gutter covers and down spots. This job also went wrong as the windows did. They sent out subcontractors that were new again. After they installed the new gutters with covers. Water is running straight down the house because the new gutters did not fit correctly. They were not cut and installed properly from the very start. They came back out to fix it and that was yet another sub contractor because the other person that installed them no longer worked for AllGood Home Improvements. Today they tried to assure me that the gutter were fixed and that we would not have any problems. After I inspected the gutters they don't look like they installed or fixed them correctly. I do not recommend them all because of the poor quality and send different sub contractors because the other contractors no longer works for this company.

The sales person arrived on time but he stayed over 2 hours. He kept repeating how professional the company is and it seemed like he was trying to convince us of that. He was nice enough but so chatty that it seemed he'd never leave. We didn't want to be rude, but he kept talking and we weren't successful in redirecting the conversation. It took a long time to come up with the estimate for the primary thing we wanted while he talked about other options. The price seemed extremely high, but we expect a higher price when employees do the work vs. sub-contractors. We expected a lower price because of all the commercials 'We Save You a LOT of Money'. Not so. Bottom line, the sales person was nice enough but a 2 hour session was not reasonable on a week night. I wouldn't call them back because I wouldn't want to work with that person again. I have nothing bad to say about the product or the company, just that we hadn't blocked out an entire evening for an estimate. Had the office staff who made the appointment set the expectation for a 1-2 hour visit, we would not have been surprised. We will be looking elsewhere for a provider.

Description of Work: They installed insulated French doors in the lower level. The installation went fine. We were a little disappointed that it took so long to custom make them as they were ordered in December. They said the company closed in bad weather as they were in northern Wisconsin, etc I have no experience with how long it takes normally but this seemed a little long but the product is fine.

They replaced the effected glass in a timely manner and from start to finish handled my claim very professionally. I am so thankful that when we purchased windows we chose the company we did. I don't know if Eagle was bought out or just had a name change, but regardless, they honored the guarantee and we are totally satisfied customers. Good job Allgood! And we thank you!
Description of Work: 8 years ago we bought windows from a company called Eagle Industries of Ohio, Inc. It is now called Allgood Home Improvements. Recently we had some spots showing up on three of our windows. Knowing they came with a lifetime guarantee I gave Allgood a call.

We were very happy with them. We had older replacement windows which were leaking badly and we are heating over 1900 sq. ft and our utility bill only went up like $40 in December. We kept hearing others are paying tremendous, over $100 a month difference and ours didn’t go up much at all. They came and took down the blinds and moved the furniture and the other company doesn’t do that. If someone is a senior citizen living on their own and they don’t have anyone to assist they may want to consider that as with Allgood they did all that. They do cost more than the other company. We got the windows in just a couple of weeks. We were happy all the way around. They are the distributors for a certain type of security screen. There was a demo with John Mattery on TV, stating “Don’t waste your money”, he was demonstrating a screen because they open like a door but they are window screens and a burglar wouldn’t cut them as it is bi level. We have lower windows close to the ground and I was interested in the screens but in the end we didn’t buy them so we called Allgood at that time because they were the only distributor for that screen. They had very nice windows. They had a couple of different levels. We previously had truffle paint but we decided to go with door paint. It has several locks on it and it has the ability to put the little latch out so the window won’t go up all way. We got full screen because we have double hung windows. We have one slider on one side of the house and so we put full screen there too. They were good installers. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. There were two of them, an installer and assistant. They also put tarps down in the yard on the driveway so that there wasn’t stuff left. They took down the blinds and put them back up and I have many blinds. I think they cleaned the windows because it seems to me that we didn’t really have window cleaning to do when they left. They took out everything and there was no dirt left. It was the rental property and there were no curtains. What I liked about it is that there were two of them and they took care of all this and moved the furniture. When one guy got done with the window the other guy put the blinds. It was one day thing and we were very pleased with them. This winter the difference in my bedroom was phenomenal. My window let in a lot of sound and wind and I don’t hear the sounds or the wind anymore. It is a really good window. We are really pleased with them and even the neighbors told me how nice they were. It looks different as we got the full screen windows. We had no problems and had no issues. Everything is fine. We had no re-call issues and they give customer satisfaction form to fill up. We were very pleased to tell them it was all good. It is a family run business and not a big corporation. I think the salesman that came was the brother of the owner. They have good collections of colors, samples and what not but we wanted basic white here and for the rental property we wanted brown so that was the difference in the two houses. We got very good windows for the price we spent. They were very good about keeping us informed and in fact we were very pleased when they came in early. We didn’t know when we would have them right away but they got them done and things didn’t linger. I wasn’t here as I was working and they were very professional and the installers were very good in dealing with us and made sure everything was cleaned up.

Description of Work: I am currently researching enclosing my screened in back porch to a sun room, which is basically a window and frame project. I see their commercials constantly so decided to research them. I just couldn't get past their commercials. They are terrible and offensive. I don't need someone screaming at me to Try Me, Try Me!! I was even moved to send them email that pointed out that I didn't appreciate the screaming and would not consider them because of that. Their product and work may be fine, but if I am offended with their commercials I can't bring myself to invite a representative to my home to hear more of the same.

We responded to the TV ad that we saw, and they sent a representative out to our home and met with my wife and I. We were new to this process, so it was nice to see a company representative show us everything that was available on the market, and let us decide what was best for our home. He showed us everything we needed to know so we could make an educated decision. The things we loved the most were the fuel savings pledge the window came with. They guarantee a 40% fuel savings with the triple pane window that we purchased or they pay the difference, and also LOVED the lifetime parts and labor warranty. Anything goes wrong with the window including glass breakage or seal failure, they will replace it free of charge. The installation process was flawless. The guys they sent out to do the work were very professional, and cleaned up and took all the debris from the job with them. They worked hard to get everything in for us in one day, and I would never know that they were there since everything was cleaned up very well. So far we have had the windows/doors in about 5 months and we love them. We have noticed a huge difference especially this summer with how little our air conditioning kicks on. We know right now that we are saving a ton on our energy bills. We have siding that we want to get done in the near future, and AllGood will be the only company that will do this work for us.

The lady lauren told me that everything would be installed that day at 1:30. They did install the front door but they didn't do the storm door and the pedestal surround. On May 19th they had someone come out to measure the surround area because it wasn't ordered yet. They said they would put a rush on it. I called them again on June 8th and they said they would call me back. They never did. I called again 3 times that day. I was put on a hold for a very long time and they said that the company they ordered it from wasn't returning their calls. I called the sales the sales manager and he said it was in their warehouse! On June 9th they were supposed to come out and the guy who was supposed to install it said he had to go to the doctor. On the 28th of June they said that it would be done on 29th, but then they called and said it wasn't in. On the 30th the guy who was supposed to install it had a sunburn and was in the emergency room. I called the regional manager again and his voicemail was full. The regional manager admitted that it was ordered wrong and wasn't in. He tried to bribe us by taking us out to dinner. On June 5th they came out and it was the wrong size. I had to supply the tools because his weren't charged. I called again for the storm door and they said it wasn't in yet, even though they had already told me it was in. At about 3 PM on that day everything was installed but I noticed it wasn't finished. I called the regional manager and told him. They said that I would have to paint it! The size is wrong and there is a layer of caulking around the door.

High Pressure Sales Tactics! After 2 hours and 45 minutes of them telling me why they are great and why everyone else is terrible, I had to basically kick them out. They were the first company I received an estimate from. After seeing 5 other companies, I do believe they have a good product. So do a lot of other companies. The other companies prices were close to half of theirs. The gave me the high pressure line of, "This price is only good tonight." If you're looking for a high quality overpriced window and a waste of 3 hours, call them.
