Jay and crew have maintained our pool for many seasons and replaced our liner and pump this year. Always knowledgable and professional and we know that HE will be the one performing service, not college kids home for the summer like my previous pool company! We're Jay's for life.

I was very worried that my pool would never look right due to age and massive neglect. I am very new to pool ownership and hired Jay with Nuwave to preform a liner installation. Each interaction was pleasant and professional. He never seemed to mind answering the plethora of questions I had which was great. He was very patient with me as well. I had to basically remodel the pool coping which took some time (never done anything remotely like it before). Anyhow, I had a good experience and would both use again as well as recommend.

I wish I could give NuWave Pool A+. I have used them twice. The first time was when my motor froze up. The company that installed the equipment said it would be 2 weeks before they could get there. I Googled Pool folks, and found NuWave. They were out there that early afternoon and had me up and running. I then had a liner installed. It looks amazing and they did a great job. Wonderful I love the new liner and the pump runs so much quieter with much more pressure. Very reasonable priced for all the hard work he did. Plus he was very courdious and helpful in explaining how to keep our pool water looking great and the ends and outs of owning our own pool. You could tell he loves his work because he was excited for us to finally own our own pool. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. From the moment that Nuwave came out to give us an estimate this company has shown nothing but total respect for us the homeowners and also respect for the business. Very clean. Very polite. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Very reasonable with quote. WE WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND NUWAVE FOR ALL OUR POOL NEEDS. PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT IF YOU NEED SOMETHING DONE. 1) Botched job. Jay came back twice to fix it, failed both times. Ultimately I had to hire another company to do the work. They told me the problem couldn't have been easier to solve: Jay overtightened the coupling to the point that it broke, then repeated that error twice more. (See picture.) He then resorted to using too much glue ("six times as much as he needed," said the second repairman), which weakened the plastic further. (PVC glue is a solvent; it works by softening the plastic, then welding the joined pieces.) Apart from making a mess and making the next repair job more difficult, I'm told this is a rookie mistake. 2) Botched job. An underground line froze and broke. Nuwave would not stand by their work; I had to pay another company thousands of dollars to repair the line. All told this will cost me $3000. I spoke to Jay repeatedly about the nature of the problem; he seemed completely unable to understand what went wrong or what he had to do with it. Three different pool companies confirmed for me that he is at fault, and two of them told me that Jay is "a shady character" and "disreputable."

We had a great experience during the replacement process of our in ground pool liner. Jay was diligent throughout the process and made sure that we were satisfied with the end-result. He kept us informed throughout the entire process. Both he and his associate were respectful and understanding of our family's busy schedule. We will definitely be using NuWave Pool Service in the future, as well as, recommending them to our friends. Our pool looks FANTASTIC!

Jay Carney of nuwave pools is a great service. Wife and I moved into a house with a pool recently and needed the pros to assess our situation. A local shop and knickerbocker were quoting us 3 weeks to 2 month lead time JUST TO COME AND SURVEY OUR POOL SETUP. Jay literally came out the next day to assess our situation. Unfortunately assessed we needed a new liner and there was base damage from either the bank or previous owner draining the pool completely. Gave a plethora of options to choose from design wise for the liner. Called and scheduled with us as soon as our order came in. Repaired the damage , removed the old liner and installed the new liner in the span of 6 hours. Afterwards he GAVE me a couple things to get the pool going FREE. And it was cheaper than initially quoted. Great guy, very knowledgeable, all in all a good business to deal with. The finished product looks absolutely amazing.

They did such an amazing job!! So knowledgable, professional. I will absolutely be using nuwave for all my pool maintenance needs including opening and closing the pool each season.

WOW!! Our new pool liner looks like a million bucks. We are more than pleased with Jay's work. He was a true professional, always made sure that correct measurements were made, always arrived on time and installed the liner in one day. Our pool had been closed for two years and with us wanting to sell our home this summer it was very important that the pool be up and running and looking good. We don't have to worry with that anymore. This pool looks better than the first day we put it in!! I would highly recommend NuWave Pool Service to anyone. It is such a pleasure in this day and age to deal with such a reputable company. Thanks again Jay and helpers for giving us such a lovely pool!! We just might want to stay and enjoy the pool!!!

He did a really good job. Their thoroughness and their knowledge in what they were doing stood out the most to me.

Our pool is an inground Esther Williams, 4 foot deep, about 35 years old. Jay took many measurements to make sure we got the right liner. He initiated installation the day promised, and returned the next two days to finish the job. We had an unexpected water leak from the bottom of the pool and he fixed it at no extra charge. The pool liner fits perfectly and looks great. We closed and covered the pool the next week and we're looking forward to having a great looking pool next summer.

Excellent work - NuWave was prompt, efficient and delivered EXACTLY what they promised as far as price and timing. My pool looks terrific. I would not hesitate to recommend NuWave to anyone needing help with their pool problems. Great Job!
