We had an aging front stoop that was sinking and brickwork falling apart. S. Bradley successfully salvaged the two stone treads from the step riser which helped us stay in budget. They ripped out the rest of the stoop. They then laid new brickwork and poured a beautiful new top slab of concrete leading to the door. They did a great job, and we are very happy with the end results!

It was for ice backup repair. Scott, the owner, gave me a detailed estimate and explained very clearly the procedures and what kind of materials they are going to use for the repair. A month late two workers came, did what they promised and cleaned up the debris. No water leaks since the repair. Very satisfied!

S. Bradley is the kind of company you want doing work for you. From the moment Scott came to look at my house, I knew I was getting an unsurpassed level of service. Scott didn't provide an estimate, he provided a proposal. He literally designed a roofing system, and line-by-line detailed the products and labor involved. I needed a complete tear-off, plus new gutters, and I really wanted new siding because what we had was dingy and old and sloppy in some spots. Cost was a factor, but so was quality. We'd asked 5 companies in total out to estimate the work on our house, all of which were highly rated on Angie's List. I knew S. Bradley would provide the best quality with the most customized level of detail. I didn't expect him to have the lowest price, and he didn't, but he worked with us. We sat down at our dining room table and went through the proposals line-by-line to figure out where we could afford to cut back, and understand the ramifications of doing so. It was the kind of collaboration you want from your contractor. S. Bradley kept us updated on everything. They called on the first day they were coming out to say they were starting a little late (it was only 10am, which I didn't think was late at all). The roofers worked tirelessly. Other than the first day, these guys showed up at 8am every day. They got right to work, every day. They took their breaks at lunchtime and returned, working just as hard in the afternoons as they did in the mornings. The first day they didn't leave until 8:45. PM. There were other days they worked until 7PM. They were very detailed, really nice guys, who really cared about the work they were doing. The roof looks fantastic. The siding crew showed up the day after the roofers were done. These guys as well showed up every morning right when they said they would, and worked tirelessly. Truly a professional group of guys who were always smiling and seemed to enjoy working together. Really great guys. The siding looks amazing. The guys who installed the gutters showed up after the siding crew was finished. Again, they worked swiftly and with great attention to detail. The gutters look perfect, and I almost cried when we had our first heavy rain after the gutters were installed, because for the first time in my 5 years at this house, the gutters didn't overflow and splash out! What a beautiful thing! I don't imagine many people want to spend 20k in one shot. But there are times when you've got to bite the bullet and invest the money in your home. When you do that, you want to do it once, and do it right. S. Bradley is the company that will execute on that motto for you.

So far I don't think I have got leaks on my roof. I didn't see any problems with it.

We have more leaks than we had before. Its terrible! I've reached out to them (3/1/2015) and advised them of all of the problems we are having and have been having and they advised that they would be back in contact with me. It's been over 2 weeks and I have yet to hear anything at all from them.

When the date was set the workers were onetime and completely cleaned their area each day. They were courteous and pleasant enough when working on the house that it did not completely upset my animals who don't like strangers. It literally took 4 days total to do all that they did. They let me know when they were going to lunch and were able to secure all they needed when they did. The work they did is beautiful and if they ran into a rough patch on the way the was unexpected they informed me, their boss and proceeded on the best path. No crazy details, just 3 guys that knew what to do with what they had in front of them and they did it well.

They weren't able to start the job before the snow came (I called them late in the season), but it was picked up immediately after the first thaw in March. Very punctual and professional. There are 3 bricks remaining with hairline fractures--easy enough to miss. Cleaned up as well as could be expected for a messy job. Professional and well done. I don't know how they compare price-wise, but I will get multiple quotes next time, as it seemed quite high for 1 day of work (10 hours, 170/hour). I accepted the terms, so I can't complain--just want to throw that out there for newbies looking for masons. Again, very professional, no issue with the quality of work, just do your homework to make sure you're getting the best work at the best price.

They did a great job. They were willing to work on a small job and didn't try to make it a big one for more money. They worked with us when problems arose to address them with minimum costs. They even put in some insulation for us as a last minute request. The sight could have been cleaned up a little better after they left (front step had a lot of grit and small debris on it), but overall they were courteous and professional.

Went fine. Workmen arrived right on time and finished in about four hours. Very professional work and cleaned up nicely afterwards. This company has done roof and chimney repairs for us in the past and we will be getting an estimate from them on any future work that we need.

I used this company in 2012 to do my roof tear-off and replacement. They did such a good job that I decided to have them do the window replacements. The original windows didn't owe me anything after 95 years! They, of course, had the windows custom-made with the original pane details on the front ones. The installation didn't take any time at all! The guys really knew what they were doing. I have noticed that there is a big difference in the comfort level up there this winter. Also, they look beautiful from the outside and my neighbor didn't even notice that they were replacements. I will definitely use this company when I do the rest of my windows.

They were great. It was very good. It was my first time using them. They were very professional and they're very prompt on their time. They were spot-on with their estimate. Their estimate was what the cost was.

I found them in Angie's list. They did a great job. They took a while to do the job, but they informed me about it. I informed them about my travel schedule and the guys were there every day until the job was done. The guy who came over was very helpful in giving me approaches to the issues I had over my roof. They were great. I would highly recommend these people. The crew was incredible. They just didn't stop. They kept working and working. I was highly impressed by the work they did.

Estimate was given promptly after I called. They set up the scaffolding and within days were here to do the work. It lasted a few days and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Work was good and we were very satisfied.

They did a good job. They were very professional. That's why I hired them. The person who came out to assess the damage was the most polite and writing down detailed accounts of everything. He was the best person I had come out for an estimate. It was very detailed. The workmen were fine. They got the job done in one day. I have no complaints.

It went great. Only small issue was the time frame we were quoted. We got 2 different answers but in the end no big deal. Had one minor adjustment afyer they finished and they came back promptly and fixed no questions asked. The job was completed in miserable weather, we really were impressed when they still came. Will be valling when we get new siding this year. Final price matched quote.

I have used this company several times. They do quality work but what really sets them apart is their service. They take the time to answer questions and are very responsive. Even if it means an extra trip out to your house to check something after the job is completed, they are quick to respond and are very accommodating. I don't think I could say enough nice things about my recent interactions with Jeff Sotka at S. Bradley - he's the best!

Company arrived on time for both quote and project. Project was explained in great detail and the quote was specific down to the purchase of nails. Workers were polite and professional. Always cleaned up after the days work. Work took about a week to complete but it was a very large project. Materials were stored on back porch (out of the way) for the next days work. Last minute tweaks were done at the final walk thru by the Owner himself. Very impressed with the company, work and employees. I would definately recommend and use them again if needed.

I originally called S. Bradley for tuckpointing work needed at the front of the house and chimney. I called 4 other contractors to get quotes from, and Jeff from S. Bradley was the only one to actually pull out a ladder and spend the time to inspect the existing chimney and other mortar that needed pointing. What he actually discovered is the mortar at the chimney was completely gone and bricks were hardly hanging on. I trusted his judgement when he recommended rebuilding the upper part of the chimney that sticks out of my roof, opposed to just masking the problem with new pointing. I kept talking with Jeff about how to prevent and protect from future water damage to the joints. So we discovered the problem spots and decided to adjust a few gutters, correct the slopes, and provide flashing guards at corners and trouble spots. The more I spoke with Jeff, the more work i realized they could do for me, and i decided to also have them replace my garage roof and install a bathroom fan at the second floor. Based on how thorough Jeff was on the inspection and the time he spent with me on just getting a quote, i felt they would do a great job if selected. The work they performed was great and done on time. The new roof on the garage looks good, they provided a shingle with a great warranty, replaced damaged sheathing, and installed new flashing and drip edge that match the house. The new bathroom exhaust fan was installed with minimal cuts in the plaster ceiling and roof. The new built part of the chimney also came out good as new. The only problem I had was with some of initial tuckpointing work. The mortar color they used was more grey than the existing tan color, they didn't repoint as many joints as originally discussed, and the joints they did do were not cleanly done. But, I let Jeff know and within 5 days they were back out there and re-did all the previous joints and also all the additional areas needed. The second time I think the actually owner of the mortar restoration company came out to do the work and he did a perfect job. All the joints matched the existing in color and profile, which is difficult to do with 60 year old joints. I could not have been happier with the job they did the second time out. Overall, I am very happy with all the work they completed and would not hesitate to use them again. As an architect, i deal with contractors on a daily basis and have seen the good,the bad, and the ugly of construction projects. I would definitely put S. Bradely in my top list of contractor companies i have worked with and highly recommend using them.

Everyone was professional and arrived promptly each day. They kept me appraised of the daily progress. Roof and gutters look fine and cleanup was completed each day. Only complaint was that I needed to request they come back to prime and paint the new wood on the soffits. Returned promptly (within the week) and painted exposed areas. I am a bit concerned that the untreated wood behind the gutters will rot. In addition, we emailed twice to advise company that one of the workers left a power driver behind, but got no response. It is still sitting in our garage.
