I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and the speed with which it was done. Eric, the crew leader, was very knowledgeable and managed the crew very well. Everyone was courteous and professional. They paid a lot of attention to clean-up, including going over the area extensively with a magnet to remove nails. I highly recommend this company.

I had to have a large house roof and garage done. Not only was S. Bradley competent, but also polite and very informative. They made recommendations as to changes to roof structure that would improve the life of the roof and also make the appearance much cleaner and appealing. I would hire them again with no second thoughts. They are not the least expensive, but given previous experiences with roofers, the difference in cost is well worth having the peace of mind that the roof is done correctly.

All the work was done in my absence with a followup phone call to inform me of the work that was performed.

Prior to contacting anyone, I prepared a checklist of important items and issues that needed specific answers and a budget. Then I contacted four roofing contractors (3 on Angies and 1 other) for estimates. The three from Angies all came out and provided estimates, the fourth set a date but never showed or called. Two of the contractors made my final cut because of more complete itemized quotes. The third place contractor did a very quick inspection and gave me a verbal, very low, quote I felt was not credible. My checklist made the final decision easier. Both had very good Angie ratings, good listening skills, proper insurance, understanding of local building codes and both were within 9% of each other and within 4% of my estimated budget. It came down to using a local (in the same county) contractor and use of employees not sub-contractors. I was home the whole time periodically walking around just looking but not interfering, letting them know I was available for any questions that my arise. As my home already had video surveilence I could peek in on them but nothing questionable ever occured but I did save all the video for any future reference. Took some pre and post installation photos also. Great service, on budget and ahead of schedule. I'm happy.

Jeff, the manager was very polite and informative, but I was not happy with the shoddy, incomplete work. I had them out several times. They did some of the work, such as replacing a gutter guard and arranging the heating coil on the garage roof. However, I had to keep on them to give me presentable squared-off slates, not terrible "eaten away" ones with chipped corners. They said that holes in the roof were OK, even though I was urging them to cover them.

They had positive ratings on Angie's List but they were not very responsive. I was going to go with them but I changed my mind because they took too long to respond. Also, I mentioned Angie's List, and it seemed like the owner kept raising the price after he learned that. The weather was bad and I had to delay the project a few times, and every couple months when I spoke with them the price increased.

Great experience! Scott Walinus met me at my house promptly on a Saturday for the estimate. We talked about how I wanted the estimate done so I could compare "apples to apples". After that, he took some time to examine the roof. We talked about options and Scott gave me so great information. He is very informative and does not give any "sales pitch". Just a good guy. Within just a day, he delivered a detailed set of estimates that met exactly what I was looking for. Concerning price, they were the lowest of the three estimates I had completed, and not by a small amount. Since I selected only the best contractors from Angie's List to complete a bid, I knew going with the cheapest was safe. Plus, I was miticulous about how I wanted the work done. Dan, the project manager, followed up within a day or two. We scheduled the appointed to complete the work within the next week. I talked with Dan on a few occassions and he was always great to work with. They estimated two days to complete the work. It ended up requiring three days, but not because of laziness. The crew was ontime each morning and worked hard through the day. They usually would work from 7:00 in the morning until 7:00 or 8:00 at night. Throughout the work, they kept the property clean and were very helpful with questions. The quality of the work is superb. I examined the entire install. I looked for the flashing, chalk work, and shingles and underlayment. Everything is perfect. After the job was done, Scott came back to examine the work. He noticed some things that could have been better and summoned the crew to come back and fix it. I didn't even need to say a work. In the end, I could not have been happier. I would not only use them again, I would highly recommend their work.

Great, Jeff gave one of the most detailed quotes I've ever seen from a contractor. The workers were friendly, showed up on time, cleaned up every evening, and did a more thorough final cleanup at the end of the project. The roof looks wonderful, can't imagine it looking any better.

They were professional and I was very pleased with their work. I was called when they found the 1/4 plywood and the sales person came from the Westside to meet me and show me what they found. The workers were friendly. I would recommend them.

I called Bradley and they were out the next day to fix the loose shingle. This company is a true example of what we Angie's list members want in our companies. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, honest and polite. They arrive on time. They leave the work area clean. Again, if I think this is the only company to call for roofing services.

I was pleased with the work crew. They reporrted early each day and worked quitely. They cleaned up after each work day and the roof looks beautiful. They were pleasant to work with. I would use them again myself and recommend them highly to others.

The two men were professional and hard working.

They were puntual and did what we asked. The crew was very hard working, honest and willing to serve and please. They complied to our requests. Their clean up was very good, upon return of our request and pricing was fair. The owner came out when we requested for any corrections.

Several years back I had a leaf guard gutter system put in. There is a difficult reverse pitch that never was finished properly by Leaf Guard. As a consequence, water ran down the brick front of my house, causing the brick to discolor and moss to grow. The S. Bradley Co. was hired to fix the problem. They told me they would have two options, and sent a man to do option 1, which was the cheapest. After spending all day, he was unable to really fix the problem, we we went to option two, which was an extensive repair, involving new flashing, new downspout pieces and some new shingles. As of this writing, the job done seems to have stopped the water problem. I was charged $250 for option one, and $800 for option 2, or $1000.00. The roofer did explain that I would have to pay for each option attempted, and the cost seemed high; however he had one guy here all day on option one and two guys here all day on option two, plus materials, so it probably was a fair price; high, but fair.

I called Bradley to come out and give me an estimate and the very next day the owner was right out. I had a contract set up with S Bradley in late fall, however they could not come out to do the work because of how quickly the weather turned bad. When I began having issues with some water damage, I called them to ask when they could come out and redo my roof. They came out the very week that I called them. I was very impressed because they were very willing to come out in February to do the work despite the snow. The week that they scheduled the work for was the week that we had a major snowstorm, but they were willing to work around that and come out to do the job. The whole project took about two days. They were very nice and professional to work with. They were good about cleaning up everything and not leaving me with a mess. I feel that they did a good job.

Their price was the best of the people that I had investigated. I liked the fact that they offered the heating option, other providers didn't offer that. There was some difficulty with getting the work scheduled, however once everything was scheduled it worked out fine.

I have used them before. Everyone was polite and explained everything to me.

I did have problems with the gutters, and I called them and they were very responsive and fixed the problem. I have recommended them to others as well.

They said they were coming tomorrow, but they showed up today. They were very helpful and timely. They were apologetic that they were not able to come last week. I can't speak to the quality of the repair since I cannot get up on the roof.

I was very satisfied with them. They were good workers, clean, professional and did a nice job. I have not had any trouble with the roof since they put it on.

Employee came as scheduled. He hurt his hand while getting started, left to have it looked at at Urgent Care. Another employee came the next day and performed the job as contracted. All seemed reliable, prefessional.

Their service was excellent. The workmanship was professional, complete, no damage, and they did what they did on time.

They stated they could handle slate roofs and that they could fix the garage roof that was leaking. The roof continued to leak into a pantry area. Another roofer discovered that it was not done properly. They overlapped the slate shingles and some were damaged. The leaked continued in fact it was worse. They should have said that they could not do slate repairs and replaced it with asphalt shingles. The other contractor had to replace the slate roofing with asphalt shingles at an additional cost to me. I was satisfied with the asphalt roofing and the gutter work that was completed.

Very informative, knowledgeable, answered questions. Returned phone calls & called before coming.

There was a case where part of the job didn't come out quite right. He sent out a man who spent the next day working on it, and it turned out well. His response was excellent. It was an honest mistake, but he didn't fool around. He made sure it was taken care of in a timely manner.
