This is the second roof I have had completed in my lifetime (two different houses). I have to say this experience was a pleasure. Normally this job would take 2-3 days but Scott sent a full crew and the job was completed in a day and a half for which I am grateful. He came prepared with samples, colors, and copies of his insurance and workman's compensation coverage. Other roofers I contacted and received quotes from were not even close to Scott's presentation or price. Clean up was completed several times during the day and I even have a dog lot in my backyard that they avoided so the dogs could go out. We are just really pleased and have had several compliments from neighbors about how nice our home looks. If you are looking for an honest roofing company I highly recommend S. Bradley Roofing. He will take his time with you and work within your budget or with your insurance company. Usually when I have to deal with contractors I get a queasy feeling in my stomach because I just know they are trying to feed me a line and jack up the price. I never felt this way with Scott and he delivered what he promised; who could ask for more.

I've been using S Bradley for more than 10 years with fantastic results. After 10 years of living in the same house I decided to move out to Aurora from Chesterland. Before my house was actually put on the MLS I called my roofer make sure that the roof which is original is still in good condition and that a competent inspector would find any problems with it. They came out and charge me next to nothing to replace the missing shingles and inspect the roof. They even gave me a written estimate to use as a sales tool for selling the house. If someone were to complain that my roof was original ( 20 years old) here's a reputable contractor willing to re-shingle the entire roof for $6700. When I purchased my new property my terrible home inspector whom allegedly inspected 90% of the roof ( so says his inspection report) claims that everything was in good shape and the roof is relatively new. Well, this idiot didn't bother to check the chimney which was leaking like a faucet we got all that rain this summer ( July 2013). I called S Bradley who came out within 24 hours they quoted me an extremely reasonable fee of only $200 to caulk all of the flashing and suspicious areas. Jeff ( one of the two owners) came out with the camera and took a dozen or so photos of the roof issues to show me what was wrong. This is slightly extra step is something that I've come to expect from this company because they've always provided that level of service. It's when I call any other contractor that I realize how much more these guys actually do to keep their customers happy. it's really hard to find any tradesmen that goes out of their way these days however these roofers really do.if you need someone to patch small leak or reroof your entire house I strongly recommend you call as S Bradley and ask for Scott or Jeff. Make them your last call, you'll see for yourself that these guys are better by mile.

The project went very well from Scott's initial vist to quote the job, through completion of the work, and followup on outstanding issues. Scott was very easy to work with, very responsive to my questions, and discussed numerous alternatives giving the pluses and minuses of each. I got four quotes for the job, and Scott's was by far the most detailed and timely. Scheduling was an issue because of numerous times I was going to be out of town. Scott worked with my schedule, and the job was completed over two days. Scott was very responsive with his followup to a couple of minor issues, and all work was done to my complete satisfaction.

I was contacted promptly and we had a minor miscommunication but people showed up when they said they would and performed the work they said they would do.

Treated very professionally from start to finish. Arrived promptly for estimate, formal proposal was subsequently provided via email. Work was scheduled once the new chase was ready and the shutters had been delivered. Although the new chase did not fit correctly, it was quickly modified and the crew came back just a week later to install it. Shutters were also installed satisfactorily and with care.

Scott provided us with an estimate for work to be done. He was very flexible and understanding with our situation and was a big help. He was quick to get the work done and was also able to point out a few trouble areas on our roof that we needed to keep an eye on. I would recommend this company to others and would use them again myself.

The project went very well from start to finish. Scott provided a very detailed estimate of the work to be done and gave good suggestions on colors and materials. Work took about 3 1/2 days over a two week period. Crews arrived on time, worked quickly, cleaned-up thoroughly after each day's work, and communicated well. Two window screens and a garage light fixture were damaged during the course of the project and were quickly, courteously repaired/replaced with no hesitation or question - very impressive customer service. Extremely professional organization. Would definitely recommend them.

It went excellent. The crew was very professional. They actually arrived and started moving my lawn furnature before I was up/out of bed in the morning. By 8:00 they were tearing off the old roof. They finished everything by 3-4:00, just as it was starting to rain. I was prepared to give them a check that day but they said that the office would contact me. Sure enough, about 10 days later, they called and made an appointment for Scott to inspect the job. As he inspected, he found a gutter cap missing and replaced it on-the-spot!!!!!! Great service from a company which seems to take it's reputation seriously!

It went marvelously from the initial meeting until the job was complete. The partner who visited to evaluate our needs was polite and informative. Everything went on schedule and the finished products (new roof and gutters) met all our requirements. The price relative to other companies we interviewed was excellent. The partner came out to view the finished job and fixed a couple of minor details without being asked. The crew who worked the job were hard-working, polite, and efficient. We could not be happier. Highly recommended.

Very professional and very good. I would refer to them to anyone that asks. They put the covers over their shoes and were very neat. They explained what they were going to do and explained the bill and everything they found with the roof.

They were wonderful! They did exactly what they needed to do. Their price was terrific compared to the price before they came out because it was twice as much. They were really, really good.

They arrived to give the estimate at the scheduled time. I called with questions and always got a call right back and they were able to answer all my questions. Most importantly they took the time to actually pay attention to what I was saying and didn't just blow me off. The problem is that they were about $2000 higher than the other roofers that we have estimates from. We got five estimates before deciding.

S Bradley installed my roof two years ago. I was thoroughly pleased then and I was thoroughly pleased with this small project (gutters on the rear of my garage). I got good advice from Scott (the owner). I got good service from the installation team. I highly recommend S Bradley for your roofing and gutter needs.

They did what they said they were going to do and did a quality job. They came back to fix something and saw that some of the water was draining too close to the house. I need to remind them to come fix that. They didn't do a great cleanup on the roofing nails which gave my mower a couple flat tires. They did come back and clean up.

Did a very good job. I thought the flashing looked odd at the bottom front of the dormer (it was dark grey so it looked like there was a recession at the bottom of the dormer). The foreman immediately agreed and the nextt week replaced the flashing with white, which looked much better.

They came in, they did the job. They are excellent.

By far the most professional roofer I looked into. He was the only one who isisted someone be home during the estimate, so he could explain exactly what would be done, as opposed to the other two roofers I had come out.

I initially got several quotes for a new roof, gutters, and downspouts due to a hail damage insurance claim. Scott, the owner, was prompt and provided a detailed quote faster than most of the other contractors. He was also the only one to provide a fully itemized quote listing all expenses in fine detail and descriptions. At the time, I did not know what was going to be covered by insurance, so it was good to see all itemized expenses. I also discussed my attic ventilation problem due to solid wood eaves and soffit. He suggested to cut out all the wood eaves and replace with vented soffit, remove all other static vents in the roof, and update the attic fan with a better design. I agreed and he added this to the quote. Most of the other contractors I spoke to were not able to perform this work in addition to the roof and gutters. When I learned that my aluminum siding was also covered in my damage claim, I called Scott back to discuss adding the siding replacement to the quote. He able to add the siding work immediately after the roof replacement. Overall, I was very satisfied with all the work done. It was initially delayed several months due to the weather, but it was finished in a reasonable amount of time considering the amount of work to be done.

The two chimneys on our house had chronic leaking issues for seven years. We had been trying to get them repaired, unsuccessfully, over the course of those years, and we had worked with two other roofers before I contacted S. Bradley Roofing last spring. They replaced the flashing on both chimneys, and they also worked on a pocket roof, which had intermittent leaking. They did a fantastic job (see first review). Unfortunately, the leaks were due to problems stemming from flashing as well as the chimney mortar and caps. Last week, they sent a man to repair the crown and install a custom cap to the larger chimney. He also repaired loose mortar on the back of the chimney stack. He sealed the smaller chimney cap off permanently, because it is no longer in use. He was excellent: he contacted me twice over the phone, and his professionalism and congeniality were exceptional when he was here. He even showed me photos of his work, which I really appreciated, seeing as I could not view the tops of the chimneys. S. Bradley Roofing is an outstanding company that stands behind it's work. If you are making a decision between various roofing companies, I highly recommend S. Bradley due to their honest commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. They are a very fine company with very fine people.

My Chimney flashing was leaking as it was improperly installed when the roof was replaced in 1999 (by another company). I had caulked around it a few years ago and it lasted until now but I decided it was time to have a professional solve the problem for good. I found S. Bradley on Angie's list and was impressed with their reviews. I have since discovered that a friend had her roof replaced by them 2 years ago and was very pleased with their work. I called for an estimate on a thursday and had an in person inspection of my entire roof on the following tuesday. The estimator did not try to sell me a new roof but told me my roof has about 7-8 more years left in it. He also pointed out a few shingles in other areas that had some damage and should be replaced. The work was completed the following thursday taking about 4 1/2 hours. I was suprised at how much work was involved, making the $740 charge seem even more reasonable. The repair is not noticeable as the new shingles match the old ones pretty well. It rained a little bit today and no signs of leaking as everything looks perfectly sealed up.

They are fantastic. They showed up on on time, were pleasant, cleaned up there mess, and communicated with us throughout the project. They were very easy to work with and easy to schedule.

Outstanding general contractor. Extremely helpful identifying all the damage and in working with the underwriters and Insurance agent to make sure that the settlement covered all the required work. Because of the extensive damage the work took over 3 months to compete and my parents had to leave their home. During this time all the worker were extremely courteous and went out of their way to answer all our questions and make my elderly parents feel comfortable with what they were doing. Scott (the owner) always answered message quickly and in person. All the work was of the highest quality and everything was cleaned up. I would very highly recommend Scott for his friendliness, professionalism and the quality of the work he performs.

I would recommend this company for anyone needing a new roof. We were having siding and insulation completed by a different company when they informed us that we had a leak in our roof. We called S Bradley and they came out as soon as they could (we were competing with all of the Hurricane Sandy damage). Both companies were able to work around each other and our schedules. Roof was done in no time at all.
