Kenny responded to my emails/phone calls. Repeated calls never phased him. He was more than pleased to respond and follow my directions as to scope of work. Workers were friendly to self and visitors to home. Quality work and great clean up. Being a perfectionist myself, I did not need to have them return for any poor work or missed work. Price was far below other companies. Being a small job, there was not a minimum that had to be paid first. They did more for less cash outlay. Did not request payment until work had been inspected. The only small negative was that I was not informed of start date. I know weather had a factor in this but when they arrived within minutes they were working. I am sorry that I did not use this company when I had my roof replaced.

Scheduling an estimate was easy and the staff were friendly and very responsive. Ken came out himself and quickly identified the problem. He was professional and friendly and patiently worked with my home warranty company. Due to our shared frustrations with the warranty company he very kindly discounted his services. I would definitely hire Ken's Parkhill Roofing again.

Our entire roof was removed and replaced in one day. The gutters & downspouts were finished by the next day. They use all their own employees, who are courteous and professional. They cleaned up very well after the job was done. I would definitely recommend them.

I had stated that my gutters were original and should be replaced, but he told me that I had been misinformed, and that I did not need new gutters. He gave me a thorough list of everything that they would do and explained the terms to me. He told me it would be about three week, but they came in two. They stripped off the old roof, using a tarp to catch all the pieces. They removed the old-fashioned box vents, put in concealed ridge vents on all three peaks. They put ice guard on the perimeter and the valley, new flashings throughout. When they removed the old roof they found that the fascia in the back was not attached to the roof, so they fixed that, adding extra wood. They put down new felt and shingles. They installed gutter screens. The crew was professional and explained the steps to me as they worked. They cleaned up completely.

Ken's Parkhill Roofing did excellent work and finished the roof and gutter installation in one day, using a large crew of courteous and skilled workers. They also installed a custom skylight. There were complications in the installation of the skylight due to rotting beams, and they replaced the beams and took the extra time to install the skylight correctly and safely. They also offered to come back annually to inspect the condition of the roof, and supplied a 10 year warranty on labor, and lifetime warranty on materials. Overall we had an excellent experience, and would highly recommend Ken's Parkhill Roofing for anyone considering a new roof.

Called to double check appointment time was satisfactory and gave me an estimated arrival time. They replaced the flashing on a three flue chimney. Gutters were also cleaned after they removed some plastic leaf guards that weren't working. We also have deicing cables and they ensured all of them were attached properly. Everything was cleaned up nicely and they let me know when they were finished. Very polite and answered all of my questions. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will gladly use them again for any roofing issues.

Called ahead to tell me when they would arrive--very courteous and professional. Took care to protect plantings and air conditioning compressor. Roof looks terrific and cleaned up the mess. Would hire again.

Parkhill Roofing put on a new roof for us in 1992. After 25 years not having any problems with our roof it was time to replace our old roof and gutters. There was no question that Parkhill would be the company for our home. We had suggested larger down spouts and screens . They told us they would not take our money. Adding the larger down spouts and screens were not needed. Not only is their work EXCELLENT but the INTEGRITY of this company is amazing.

The inspection of my roof was done at a courtesy to me as a follow up years after the roof was put on the house. I was getting water in my bathroom and hallway. They came out inspected the flashing and condition of roof and found nothing to be wrong with the roof. They also figured out I needed a Chimney liner and not only diagnosed the problem referred me to a business that was respected. I have dealt with Parkhill Roofing for many years and will continue to do so.

We got a good discount because we are on Angie?s List. They are an excellent company. They did the work smoothly. In 1995, we had a second roof put on and they originally did the work. Then we had some issues because it was three different areas with the roof, three sections of roofing. So the mold problem was in the middle section and then they had to do the work on that area. I highly recommend them. They are a local company so I think they don?t do out of state work. I think they took off $300 from the estimate because we are with Angie?s List. I will use them again without a doubt.

This was the best experience I have had with any contractor in a long time. Right from the start, Ken jr. and Ken sr. were very prompt and professional. Ken sr. met with me to discuss the scope of work and provide an estimate. He made several suggestions as to additions they could provide, but in no way was there any pressure. Once we had agreed on terms and price, he provided a lead time of @2 weeks. When work was started,everything went very smoothly. The tear-off and new roof were completed in ONE day. Debris was cleaned up and hauled away. Workers very careful not to damage any landscaping. Soffit venting,gutters,and gutter guards were installed on successive days. Upon completion Ken jr. followed up to make sure we were completely satisfied. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to re-roof. Next we are going to talk with them about replacing our windows,which they also install now.

I Highly recommend Ken's Parkhill. I spoke with Pete in the office and was able to set up an estimate for 2 days later. They came on time and gave us a written estimate before leaving the site. Their price was in the middle of the estimates, but the the Angies list discount, it was the best. There were someestimates that were double this one. I called to schedule the service and sent back a work contract with our color choice. They told us it would be 2-3 weeks depending on the weather. They were true to their word. They called the day before they were available - 2 weeks later . They were there by 8am and sent enough workers to tear the 2 layers of roof off and apply the new roof by the time I got home at 6pm. They cleaned up completely - there was no mess left behid. The roof looks great and there are no leaks.

Ken and his team were very courteous and professional! We were very happy with the price they quoted us and they were able to install our roof quickly after we realized we had severe leakage problems. The craftsmanship was impeccable and we could not be happier! We were impressed with their employees- from the roofers to the guys that installed our gutters. They did a thorough clean up job after tearing off our old roof. They kept us informed throughout the progress of our job. This company was a pleasure to deal with and we are grateful that we have peace of mind, knowing our roof and gutters will no longer be problematic! The job was specified improperly and pricing was quoted that did not represent the work that needed to be done, which resulted in a significant underestimation of the cost. The job was then requoted at a 50% increase without any reinspection or amended written quotation.

The whole process from estimate to completion was prompt, polite and very professional. Even the clean up was done well.

Until the crew showed up one minute early on the appointed day, I never met anyone from the company. All of the estimating and contracting had been done over the phone and through email.||They had been recommended by a family friend and their price was about 40% less than another company. Their price was more than having a neighbors brother do it but they had superior materials and had a 10 year warranty. ||When the crew showed up in a bright, shiny, red truck that |Was meticulously cleaned, I knew I was in good hands. They worked together very efficiently and left my garage and yard cleaner than when they started. Every person involved was a great communicator.
