I filled out the online form for a quote. I got a call saying someone would be out in a day or so. That was a week ago and no one has showed up.

Prices are fair and do confident work.

BUYER BEWARE—especially if you have a slate roof. I called Ken's Parkhill Roofing (and several other companies) for an estimate on a leak in my slate roof. They were the first to respond and come out. The guy who came went up on the roof to take a look and what ensued was an elaborate dog and pony show. He called his boss and another guy to come out and look and they concocted some story about improper caulking on the roof that was irreparable and said the ONLY options were to tear off the entire beautiful slate roof at a cost of over $13k and replace it with asphalt, or tear off half the roof for $8K and replace it with asphalt. They said even tearing out a section and replacing it with new slate would be impossible because of some monopoly on the slate market that made it hard to find new tiles. Since they were the first to come, we assumed the worst and were almost resigned to having to spend a huge sum of money to replace our beautiful roof. Of course it was all false. First, on a hunch, right after they left, I called the city building department and learned that replacing half the roof in the way they offered was a violation of city code. It was not even an option and they should have known that (they were licensed). Second, we had three more companies come to give estimates after and ALL of them told us the same thing: there was an old copper valley that had worn out and needed to be replaced. The roof was in fantastic shape and we definitely did not need a new one. No tiles had to be replaced. And the cost was way way less than what these guys tried to bilk us for. And, by the way, a few days after someone else fixed our roof, we had the worst rain in decades—enough to get water in our basement which is exceedingly rare—but the roof repair held up great with no issues. At the end of the day, either Ken's Parkhill Roofing was completely ignorant on slate roofing or was purposely deceitful. I really hope for their sake it was the former (still not good), but I have a really hard time believing that the boss and two other guys couldn’t come to the same (apparently obvious) conclusion as every other roofer we talked to.

Very well they insured it wouldn't come down since they used screws instead of nails whereby previous contractor used nails thus siding was pulled out by high winds, screws grip and have better staying power than nails even from my own experience, well satisfied with the work they performed.

The tear off and new installation went very well with good quality workmanship. Twelve men working in harmony as one happy family my congratulations to John Shannon Greg and the entire crew .

Outstanding workmanship, great crew, professional, competitive price. Work took 2 days due to the size of our roof. Yard was spotless at the end of each day. Quality of the work and product was outstanding. I was absolutely impressed with all of the little things that are included. I highly recommend them.

They were amazing and prompt with their work. The workers clean up all there debris and talked with us about how long it would take and what not.

They were the first to respond with a message on my answering machine and even called back to make sure I received the message. They gave a reasonable quote and I told them I needed to get more quotes. They said OK, and call if you decide on us. I called back and asked when they could do the job and could I get a senior discount. They told me the work would be done in two days, weather permitting, and I could get the senior discount. I gave the go ahead and they came as promised in two days. They replaced several shingles and showed me the areas where they were. It was a pleasure dealing with this company.

They were awesome to work with they called prior to coming. They did an awesome job on all aspects, they were all very friendly and professional. They did a great job of cleaning up. The price was good and I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Great Job Guys Thank You !

The actual roof tear off and replacement was quick and efficient. Since that point I have had leaking in several areas of my roof, issues with my gutters and ventilation. The gutter problems caused the siding of my home to rot in certain areas. I now have mold in my attic due to constant leaking in that area. I reached out to Kens parkhill Roofing on several occasions and with each episode of leaking and they were uninterested in repairing their work. Rather, they were deceitful and attempted to sell me more work. When I was not accepting of that they became aggressive and nasty. I have now reached out to new roofers to repair the roof. I’ve learned that my shingles are not nailed down in most places as they should be, I do not have ice guard in one large area of the roof (promised by Kens and paid for by me) and other workmanship issues. I believe They had an inexperienced person install the roof (which happens) but Kens Parkhill Roofing is not interested in standing behind their work. I would be careful if hiring this company.

I called so many companies for estimates that I actually forgot I called this company. They returned my call, we set an approximate time for the estimate, they called with their price, and mailed us a copy of the quote (great customer service). We had other things going on at the time that we forgot what was included with the estimate. The mailed estimate was the perfect touch. They priced what we asked for and gave us additional pricing for the side to be repaired. Out of the 5 companies their price was the most reasonable but their reviews on google and Angies List is what sold us. We requested a quote from the company who did our roof two months ago but decided on Kens Parkhill Roofing. They came when they said, completed the work, the work is sheer perfection, it’s great quality siding. They placed the old siding in the back of our home and cleaned it up within a few days. The guys who did the work were professional, at times we could hear them in the house and no profanity. They worked until the job was complete. I will seek them out for the next job we have. I have an amount that he wants to charge for the job, but the estimate was so poorly written that I'm amazed this man is on Angie's list. No itemization of anything just a total at the bottom. A total waste of time as far as I'm concerned.

After ironing out some gray areas in the quote, the project went very well.

We had to wait a while for availability, but he was upfront about that. Based on reviews, we decided it was worth the wait. Very thorough evaluation of our situation. Job was completed in one day. Employees were courteous and professional. While they weren't the least expensive estimate, they were the most knowledgeable about our problems, and thoroughly explained their reasons for the choices being recommended. They even had a second evaluation to determine the best course of action. Other companies were just going to slap shingles on top of the big mess our roof was. Very pleased, and would call them again.

He is a stand up guy. He is really a good person and he cares about his ratings and his work. If you want to get good work, the best thing to do is reach out to the owner. He did make good on my house. I had an incident with the roof and he came out and made it right. I submitted a negative review and he contacted me after he saw it. He called me up and immediately came out to make it right.

They delivered, showed up when they said they would and were very patient with my time frame. Willing to work with me as to the times I needed to have the new roof installed. I would highly recommend Ken's Parkhill Roofing Co Inc

Everything was top notch except the cleanup. I can understand small pieces of tar paper or shingles but, nails that were extremely easy to spot in both my driveway and neighbors is unacceptable. I spoke with Ken and he assured me this is not the norm. Although, I have my doubts. Look up, beautiful job completed in less than 2 days....look down, nails and debris is the last impression. I hope Ken is correct about the normal way Ken's Parkhill Roofing leaves a job site.

Ken's Parkhill Roofing crew removed our old shingles and gutters and replaced with new shingles, gutters, soffits, and gutter guard. Their price was very competitive of all the estimates which we obtained and their work was top-notch. They arrived as scheduled, all of the men were very polite, respectful, and worked hard while they were here (there was no standing around, talking, etc. - they were here to work!!) They did an amazing job of clean-up - in fact on the day that they removed the old shingles, they had one gentleman assigned just to haul them away as they were being tossed down). The workman even noticed and advised us of a bonafide problem with our chimney that we hadn't noticed but one that we need to address. I would highly recommend Ken's Parkhill Roofing and would hire them again if needed.

The work was completed in one day. The new gutters were installed without incident. The crew was courteous; they removed the old gutters and cleaned up all debris. I am pleased with the results.

Everything went very well. Greg called me ahead of time to let me know I was next on the list. The crew arrived promptly. They kept me informed at every phase of the work. They stripped off the old vinyl siding and piled it neatly for removal. There was never any mess in the yard, as they put all trash in boxes as they worked. They detached the patio awning, installed the siding and reinstalled it all in one step. They removed and stored the gutter screens when they stripped off the gutters. The gutter installer arrived on the last day, as the last siding was going up, and installed the gutters and the gutter screens. He explained that he concreted the downspouts where they joined the ground pipes, letting me know to wait a month for the concrete to set completely. The job took 3 1/2 days and all the trash was picked up the next day, as scheduled. I had them store the siding in my garage over night, and they left the garage cleaner than they found it. All the men were friendly and answered all my questions fully. I expected them to step on the spring flowers in the front flower beds, but they managed to avoid crushing them while getting siding, shutters and gutters installed. They installed new house numbers for me; perhaps a small thing to some people, but a major help to me. The house looks great!

Each time, the work was done in a timely manner, the quality was outstanding, and the people were courteous and professional. The price has always been reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and will continue to hire them.

OK price was VERY HIGH - their Standard Rate of $ 125 for 5 minutes of work Plus also a member of their Church.....with no discount WOW! No future roofing project from me ....
