I call Parkhill Roofing the beginning of May regarding a water stains on my ceiling. I spoke with Pete, and explain to him that I purchased this home in 2003 and the previous owners indicated to me that Parkhill Roofing completed the roof in 2003 with a 20 year warranty. Pete indicated to me that someone would come out at take a look at my roof and that I needed to be home. No one never came out and after numerous phones calls, I was told by Pete that the company was running behind, however I never received a phone call indicating this, I was told by Pete that someone would come out on Thursday, I waited all day no one showed up and then on Friday morning I received a phone call from Pete indicating that someone came out to look at the roof on Thursday and put a couple of nails on the roof. Pete indicated that my problem was taken care of. I asked what time did the company come out to look at the roof and Pete stated that he did not know. I have received two estimates on my roof and both companies, indicated that the roof needs to be repaired with ice-guard which was not previously installed properly. I definitely would not recommend this company, please beware.

This is to update the earlier report. Owner graciously had me pick up a bundle of shingles for potential future repairs. I was glad to get them. I thought it was highly improbable that there weren't ANY shingles left over as stated. Most likely, there weren't any unopened shingle bundles. Anyway, I'm glad to have them. The other issue was baffles. The quote included them if necessary. Without insulation, they weren't necessary but with the ridge vent cut in, it was necessary to insulate which necessitated baffles. When I contacted them to see if they would install the baffles prior to insulation or if my insulation company should do it, they wanted me to have the insulation company call them. So, the insulation company called them and they informed the insulation company how to install the baffles without invalidating the roof warranty. I need to call them and see if they are willing to refund some money for the installation of the baffles. That would be approximately $250.

The experience went very well. I called on Tuesday and they came to the house the next day. They gave me an estimate and after my approval, replaced the shingles immediately.

This is the second time I have used this company (a father/son business.) The first time was 18 years ago to have the flat portion of my roof replaced, which has performed very well. This job went off without a hitch; workers were courteous and neat, doing a good job at clean up when the job was completed.

WE GOT A QUALITY ROOF GUARANTEED FOR 40 YEARS. I DID HAVE TO WAIT LONGER THAN I EXPECTED FOR WORK TO BEGIN. BUT THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO.

THIS COMPANY WENT WAY ABOVE THE EXPECTED STANDARD OF SERVICE. THE MEN WERE QUIET AND EFFICIENT, AN INHERENTLY MESSY JOB WAS PERFORMED WITH MINIMAL DISRUPTION AND THE DAILY CLEANUP WAS THOROUGH (2 DAYS). MOREOVER, THEY RE-INSTALLED THE GUTTERS (WHICH I REMOVED) AND THEY CERTAINLY DIDN'T HAVE TO DO SO. THE MEN WERE POLITE, CONSCIENTIOUS, NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HEARTILY ENDORSE THEIR WORK!

IF EVERY COMPANY THAT YOU DEALT WITH WERE LIKE THIS ONE, BOY WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD THIS WOULD BE! THIS COMPANY IS ON TOP OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE A REALLY TOP NOTCH COMPANY FROM THE WORKERS TO THE SERVICE ORDER PEOPLE. THEY ARE POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, HARDWORKING, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND THEY ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS TO MY COMPLETE SATISFACTION. THE OWNER CAME THREE TIMES TO CHECK ON THE WORK AS IT WAS GOING ON AND HE ALWAYS MADE A POINT TO FIND ME AND CHECK ON MY COMPLETE SATISFACTION. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANY AND IM NOT EASY TO PLEASE! THEY ARE WONDERFUL AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! MANY OF MY NEIGHBORS HAVE USED THEM AND HAVE ALSO BEEN VERY PLEASED! I WENT WITH THE FIFTY YEAR SHINGLES AND GOT THE TOP OF THE LINE ROOF, AND I AM A VERY HAPPY CAMPER!

RE-ROOF JOB. OWNER STOPPED BY DURING PROCESS. EXPLAINED PROCESS SINCE IT WAS COMPLICATED AND COSTLY. GAVE A DETAILED WRITTEN ESTIMATE.
