+ -1 moreI used GT Painting previously, for our interior. On this exterior project, as with the one before, I found Greg, the owner, and his crew to be professional, pleasant, and flexible. Several feet of rotting trim had to be replaced, and the current siding and paint (applied by a previous homeowner) had to be checked out with the manufacturer to confirm whether stain or latex was recommended. Greg arranged a site visit by a manufacturer rep and did the associated homework. Greg was able to accomodate all of my wife's and my mid-project tweaks and changes within the agreed price. We feel our farmhouse-style residence is now the best looking property on the (well-kept) street! I highly recommend GT Painting, and would definitely use them again.

+ 0 moreGreg Thomas is a true perfectionist. I first hired him to repair a crack in my living room ceiling and paint over the repair. Two other contractors had tried to fix it previously, but neither repair had lasted – in each case the crack had reappeared after just a few months. It’s now almost three years since Greg fixed it and it’s still fine. Moreover, his paint job was meticulous and his price reasonable. So when I wanted my kitchen painted last month, of course I hired Greg. Again, he showed up on time, finished the job with thorough attention to detail in one day, and cleaned up beautifully when he was done. If you want a painter who is punctual, courteous, professional, diligent, precise, honest and reasonably priced, be sure to call Greg.

+ 0 moreVery well; we are fully satisfied with his work and his approach to the process. He and his team were impeccable in protecting furniture and floors from mess or paint. Work was done in a timely and precise manner. We have a lot of wood trim including crown molding; there were a lot of careful edges to do, and it turned out great. (Woodwork was already painted when we bought the house, so no option for natural wood, our preference). He was easy to talk with about choosing paint colors, offering advice when asked. The large living room was completely wallpapered, and he removed it efficiently and cleanly. There was some minor repairs to trim that he completed very well. After the paint dried, he requested that we tell him of any touch up needs, and he returned the next day for no extra charge to address these. The final product is wonderful.

There was a careful attention to detail, and the rooms were left very clean. Before, throughout, and even after the work was done, Greg did an excellent job staying in communication with us. I waited a few months before doing the work, but when I was ready, Greg was able to get me on the schedule within a week. Although short-staffed due to illness, the team was able to take care of all the projects I needed in only 2 days. They were professional, and made sure to cover and clean everything. Greg even redid a paint job on my ceiling he had done the day before, when it didn't look good enough to him. Great service, responsive, and a fair price. I would use again.

Description of Work: We've used Greg twice in the past few months. The first job was to repair and replace drywall and baseboards in our basement that were needed as a result of a flood that we had in July 2017. Description of Work: Exterior painting of a 95 year old home. Brick first floor with wooden shingles on 2nd floor. Most of home still maintains original wooden windows with metal storms, window air conditioners, and other messy stuff characteristic of an old home. I had multiple bird nests in the overhang eves and bees or wasps had taken up residence in one of the corners where shingles had slipped or provided an openings. Shingles had been circular sanded by a previous painter and many of the shingles are / were in questionable shape with some needing replaced or reattached as they had slipped. Greg was very professional and timely from beginning to end of this & has a wonderful hard working crew! He did a great job in keeping me posted and was able to use his construction experience to attend to several loose boards, shingles or visible holes on my home! I found Greg on my street while he was painting several other homes. Noticed the attention he and his crew paid to detail, how neat the job appeared to be and the attention they paid to protecting owners shrubbery or other landscaping & home issues. He was sensitive to my financial situation, provided me with a fair, competitive price, was efficient and timely. Originally I was on his schedule for September, though a cancellation came through and was able to move the job to late August. He was eager and ready way before I was, though the job started the next day. From power washing, scrapping and painting of my home and old 95 year old garage too..... Greg and his crew did a wonderful job! I am pleased, very pleased and plan to use his services again for some interior ceiling repairs and painting.

Primer was applied where needed, followed by two top coats, applied using a sprayer, with the paint rolled in between coats. Greg and his team were always polite, courteous and professional, cleaning up at the end of each day. The results are sensational, and our house looks terrific. I am happily recommending GT Painting to all my friends and neighbors who are looking for a great painter.

Greg and his crew covered all the windows to protect them. Greg was on site every day, all day. He and his crew were prompt, neat, professional and courteous.
