GT Painting

We have hired Greg with G.T. Painting several times in the past for interior painting, and we have always been 100% satisfied with his work. When we needed to have the entire exterior of our home painted, there was no question that we would use G.T. Painting. Greg and his crew did an outstanding job and were great to work with throughout the entire process. When we called Greg for an estimate, he came to the house promptly to do an estimate and clearly outlined the work that he would do and the pricing. He was great about working with our schedule to get the job done. Greg and his entire crew work efficiently and meticulously. Within about 2.5 days, the entire job was completed, the work site was completely cleaned us, and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding. Our newly-painted house looks great, and we feel the price we paid was very reasonable given the outstanding quality of the work done. We will certainly be using G.T. Painting in the future and highly recommend this company for both interior and exterior painting work!

I needed the bargeboards, eaves, soffits and second floor windows to be scraped and painted on a property to become compliant for a POS. Greg visited the property and sent me an estimate very quickly. His estimate was considerably lower than all the other bids. Greg and his crew finished the job to my satisfaction within the time frame we agreed to. He cleaned up neatly and did a nice job. Greg is excellent to work with. He is extremely professional and helpful with suggestions. He has that old school work ethic, and you could tell he enjoys his work and has pride in getting things done the right way. It was very stress free dealing with Greg. He definitely went way above and beyond what you would expect from a typical contractor. I will always call him from now on with all my painting needs. If you chose Greg, you will be happy you did.

We had an excellent communication with Greg, having him over for an estimate for the repair to be done and then a week or so later for the work. He called the evening before the repair to confirm the appointment. He and a helper were punctual and went above and beyond the work that we asked them to do. It was all performed to our expectations from the estimate. They left the area spotless!

He & his crew were painting the house across the street on South Overlook Rd in Cleveland Hts and I was impressed with the quality of his work. I asked if he could help me out with a gutter issue as I have an inspection coming up soon. Even though this was not his area of expertise, he agreed to help me out anyway & did a /great job!...even repairing a few things that I did not ask him to. I now have asked him to give me an estimate on painting/staining my entire cedar shingled duplex. I also might call him to do interior plaster repair in my aging property . I just had a real good feeling about this guy (Greg Thomas-owner) & will absolutely try him out again.

Called Greg Thomas for an estimate, received a prompt response, and the job was scheduled. Greg and crew arrived at the appointed time and proceeded to do an excellent job. All employees were professional and cleanup was better than expected.

Greg was present for all the work. His crew was quiet and courteous. Any issues were immediately resolved. They cleaned up after themselves. Work was done efficiently. I found his price point to be excellent. I will be using his services for painting the rest of the house.

I had a few cracks in the ceiling with pieces that sagged as if they would fall off. I had initially called a different painter to fix the job, but he had managed to make it look worse, by applying caulking that turned the cracks into raised welts. Since my ceiling has a texturized finish from the 1920s, most painters wouldn't even touch the job, because the unique 1920's texture couldn't be recreated. I am so glad that I later called Greg. He tenaciously worked for hours until he could find the right consistency for the spackling mud. He was able to pull off the miraculous. My ceiling looks brand new! I couldn't believe my eyes. This man is an artistic genius who knows how to perfectly match unique texturized finishes. He and his crew are also very meticulous about cleaning up after themselves--a big plus for me, and they take great pride in their work. If you have a job in mind, make sure you give Greg plenty of lead time, since he is booked pretty far into the summer.

Greg and his crew did excellent work. They showed up in the morning and worked until late afternoon. Greg was very accommodating and service oriented. I would absolutely hire GT Painting again for the next job.

Greg is one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with. He always answers calls promptly, shows up on time, is efficient, professional, honest, and is an overall extremely nice person to work with. This was a large project and he did a BEAUTIFUL job. My home looks like new and it is because Greg is very good at what he does. My home is very old and he was able to match the original plasterwork, which no one else in the Cleveland area could do! This is the second time I hired him and could not be happier with his fine work, and I am a perfectionist. Greg is so reliable that I could go to work and not have to worry about him or his workers at my house as they are all total professionals. They do a complete clean up every day after work, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping up dust, so that you can live through a large project like mine and still live and function in your home. On a side note, the pipes broke in my house due to the cold weather when Greg was there and he acted immediately and shut off the water main, sopped up as much water as he could and contacted me immediately. He saved my house from extensive damage! That's the kind of person he is. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and will never use anyone but him. My handyman highly recommends him too. If you want the best, Greg at GT Painting is your man.

They arrived when expected and completed the job in considerably less time than I thought they would be able to. They did a nice job of matching the 1920s stucko and textures. Threw in a complementary sash cord replacement that was not on his list but that I noticed during the final walkthorugh. Cleaned up and mopped when done. The price matched the estimate. I'm very satisfied with the job that was done.

Greg did an outstanding plaster job.He was fast and did a super job.I was very pleased.

It was my first time to use them. They did an excellent job of what I asked of it. They did it promptly at a reasonable price. I’d probably use them again. They did a beautiful job. It took them two hours to three hours to perform the service. The owner, Greg Thomas, came out and he had a guy that helped him clean up. He did all the work himself. They did a great job. As I said, I got some other work and I’ll probably be giving them a call in the next couple of days.

Mr. Thomas called a week before he started the job and he came out and got all of the color information. He started the job on Monday as promised and arrived at the time he said he would be there. Every piece of furniture was covered with plastic and all woodwork was taped. All stairs and hallways were drop clothed. All hardwood floors were properly covered. He and his workers were all very polite and respectful. After each day all drop cloths were neatly folded and put away so no one would trip on them. When he was done with every room he made sure there was no paint on any floors or woodwork. He did not go on to another room until we were completely satisfied. After the whole house was completed he went over it again to make sure we were completely satisfied with the completed job. I would recommend GT Painting to anyone and I would use him again.

I had water damage in some plaster, and clearly it was more extensive than I thought it would be. Fast, reasonable, and the ONLY reason he got one 'B' was because there was a little re-work that he had to do -- so that's not a bad thing.

Greg returned my phone call the same day and we were able to schedule an estimate for the job within 24 hours. We were able to get on his schedule quickly and he was able to get the job done within 2 days. The room looks amazing. You would have no idea that there were patches in the walls and the paint job is wonderful! He cleaned up after himself extremely well and aside from how wonderful our room looks, you would never know he was in our house. We will definitely use him again if we need more work done.

Even though we had a relatively small job, Greg came and meticulously fixed the water damage on my mother's dining room ceiling. He was very professional and courteous, and did a fantastic job. The ceiling looks like new! I would highly recommend him - he is coming to my house next!

Working with Greg was a great experience. He came the same day that I called to provide an estimate and the job was completed a week later. He was prompt and his crew was thorough with laying drop-clothes and cleaning as they went. Even though it was a relatively small job, Greg approached it like a craftsman and was meticulous with detail and carefully matching multiple colors in different rooms. He worked efficiently and at the end of the process, I couldn't even tell where the holes were.

Greg was excellent. He came same day we called for estimate. He came on time and on schedule, finishing the job as estimated. He was very careful in our home and the best aspect was the clean-up after the work, he left the house in perfect order. His estimate was lower than 5 others and work was very professional.

Greg painted my rental property. He was able to work my job in considering that I was only going to be in Cleveland for a few weeks. He came and worked on my job when it was raining on his other exterior jobs. I would hire Greg again. He did a good job on the paint and worked with me on my schedule.

It went well. They came, did the job, and it was drama-free.

They were prompt, quiet, professional, and worked a holiday and weekends in order to complete the job before cold wet weather set in. The house looks beautiful and everything was cleaned up. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the amount of prep work required. The job included 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint, plus an extra coat on the weather side of the house. Also, they did more than I expected -- they refinished the natural wood front door, repaired snowplow damage to a corner of the house, and replaced a weathered wooden handrail. I will certainly hire them again, and I am recommending them to everyone who needs exterior painting.
