Description of Work: This company painted the trim on our brick house. They also repaired several broken panes of glass and a garage railing. As we identified issues which needed attention throughout the week they readily addressed those issues. At the end of the job a storm window broke . They are taking responsibility for repair . The only concern is that the entirejob took a bit longer than anticipated. But the house looks great!

Well this is a surprise! We have done 4 jobs for Mr. [Member Name Removed], including his personal home exterior, his interior basement, and his sons house twice! This job that he is referring to I would assume is his son's house. Where we painted it the first time, and was very happy with the work, price and our professionalism. We were one of the only contractors that actually stuck to our time frame of completing the work on time. His sons house was bought out of foreclosure and needed a lot of work. We came in and did our work when we said we would, and completed the work when we said we would. Now during the first time painting this house there were misfit workers performing other work while we were in the home. We had to repaint a number of items due to unorganized contracting, were the home owner was the GC. We did not charge for those items. So the first time painting this interior home for his son he was happy, yet no report on Angie's List! The second time we had to go into this interior was because of an electrical fire in the attic which again was an issue over looked by the electrical contractor. But because of smoke and fire damage we had to repaint the entire house. I was called on a Wednesday and they (now a contractor not the home owner) needed me to start ASAP. So it being a repeat customer we switched somethings around and started the next week. Even though there was a contractor the son was at the house a lot and could not make up his mind with new paint colors, mind you we had painted it a year ago and now wants new colors. Again, we had to go back and repaint areas that were done, not because of bad work or repairs but because the son wanted different colors. This time we had to charge for the extra work. This is why we were over priced. Plus it was an insurance claim were everyone invover were misfit workers other than the contractor. Ah my favorite quote "Good, Fast and Cheap, pick two for you can't have all three! We did good work, quickly but it wasn't cheap!

We also did the entire exterior of this customers house as well. In which we helped remove all the storm windows for the customer to accommodate there tight schedule, which they were not able to do. The job consisted of scraping, priming and painting two coats of our super elastomeric coating. They were very happy with the exterior work, yet they did not write a report on that? Then we went back to perform work on the interior which there was water damage from ice damning plus the age of the home warranted that we practice RRP due to a chance of Lead base paint. When we were completed the customer seemed to be happy and satisfied with our work? So why give such a poor review? I wish that Mr. Hart had contacted us and explained his concerns for we would have gone back to the home to correct any issues. Again, we can not correct issues we are not aware of, so please if you are not satisfied with our work, please take the time to call and talk with me or take the time to fill out our customer questionnaire that we provide and mail it back to us. Thank you!

Brad Pietrafese (the company owner) came to the house to do an estimate. 2 days later he emailed a detailed quote breaking down the work to be done in each room. The detailed quote included everything from sanding, patching, priming and painting through cleanup. Brad is very detailed oriented which impressed me. All flooring, moldings, windows and cabinets were taped off and covered while painting. He made sure every crack, nail hole or nail pops was patched and prepared for painting. When painting was completed (approximately 6 days) he returned after the paint set to vacuum floors, wipe down moldings and cabinets as well as taking out all trash. The house was as clean as it was before he started, maybe cleaner. I was not in the house while he was working but Brad kept in contact regularly to update the progress. I allowed him access to the house since he is very professional and trust worthy. Do not be fooled by his young looks, his quality workmanship and work ethic are better than those of someone 20 years older Brad truly cares about the work and the satisfaction of his clients.
Description of Work: Painted walls and ceilings and did all necessary patch work in 3,500 sq. ft. ranch house. Rooms included a 2 story great room, an office and a dining room with cathedral ceilings, loft, 3 bedrooms with crown molding, kitchen, laundry room, 3 walk-in closets, 6 regular closets, 4 1/2 bathrooms, additional 1,000 sq. ft. finished basement and steps in garage.

They have an excellent work ethic. They were punctual, did an excellent job, clean, polite, professional, and did a great job on the painting. The price was great and I would recommend them to others. They are coming out in the Spring to do this outside of our house. They get an A++.

Brad was extremely polite and considerate of my time in my home. He arrived promptly at 8:30 A.M. each morning, was clean and careful during his work time, and left my home in as good of a condition each day as was possible. His work was precise; paying attention to details. I have never had such careful detailed work done to my walls in all the 25 years that I have lived here. I have recommended him to all my friends and family.
Description of Work: Brad stripped walls of wallpaper, washed down the walls, filled in holes and primed, and then painted two coats of new color. He also did a bedroom afterwards, whose color I did not like. So, he kindly purchased a new color, and painted 2 new coats over the first one, at no additional cost.

It was a wonderful, seamless experience. We called the company, they started the work a couple days later. They finished the work promptly and did an excellent job. The work they did was to fix a shotty job that was done by a big name company that subcontracts out their work. Their work was FAR superior to the work done by the big name company. Clean-up was perfect and the man who did the work was polite and a pleasure to have around the house.

Estimate contract was submitted, signed and approved and deposit was made during the summer. Date was scheduled for work to start on October 12-15. Walk through on October 15th. Rooms were prepared by us for the job to start on the next day. No one showed up and we called the owner. He was not prepared to honor his contract or commitment to us. We asked him to at least finish the prepared rooms. He would not do any of the work that we had contracted with his company. We now have our upstairs bedrooms taken down and no painter.
Description of Work: No work was performed. The painters defaulted on their contract with us which was made during the summer for a start date in mid October.

THIS WAS A SCHEDULING PROBLEM. DURING THE FINAL WALK THROUGH THE CUSTOMER HAD ADDED MORE WORK TO THE CONTRACT. WHEN WE SCHEDULED THE JOB WE HAD ESTIMATED THE JOB TO TAKE A WEEK. WITH THE NEW ADDITIONS, THE JOB WOULD NOW TAKE A LOT LONGER. DUE TO THE ADDITIONAL WORK WE HAD TO FIND OTHER LABORERS TO TRY AND GET THE WORK DONE IN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATED TIME FRAME. THE LABORERS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. WE MADE THE CUSTOMER AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AS SOON AS WE KNEW OF IT. WE OFFERED A LATER START DATE TO GET THE WORK DONE IN THE ORIGINAL TIME FRAME. THE CUSTOMER WANTED PARTIAL WORK DONE RIGHT AWAY. THE CONTRACT STATED WORK TO BE DONE ALL AT ONCE. WE AS A COMPANY STAND BY OUR CONTRACTS AND "TAKE ONE JOB AT A TIME" TO BEST SERVE OUR CUSTOMERS. WE ARE A YOUNG COMPANY AND VALUE OUR CUSTOMERS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT. WE REALIZE THAT WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISING IS IMPORTANT, AND OUR REPUTATION IS ALL WE HAVE. WE TRIED TO MAKE THE BEST DECISION GIVEN THE SITUATION AND UNFORTUNATELY NEITHER PARTY MADE OUT. WE LOST A WORK AND THE CUSTOMER COULD NOT GET WORK DONE. AS A COMPANY WE HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS SITUATION TO BUILD FROM WITHIN BY HIRING RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, AND RESPONSIBLE EMPLOYEES.
