Huge project, but it went extremely well and we are very pleased with the experience, workmanship and results. The purpose of the project was to alleviate the dampness and water issues in the basement of an older home which resulted in an unpleasant basement and a musty odor throughout the house. We interviewed three contractors and while all seemed competent, we were struck by Sergio Adelio's professionalism and the fact that only he, of the contractors interviewed, advised us of a storm sewer situation in our neighborhood that might necessitate installing a sump pump in order to be in compliance with city code. His prediction was correct and we passed all the city inspections. It was reassuring that he had done many other houses in our area. Sergio was very easy to communicate with by phone, email and text and he was able to start and complete the project in one of the narrow windows of time which worked for us. The project took about a week. He met with us numerous times during the project to explain what was going on and also met with our landscaper to discuss protecting the nearby lawn, trees and shrubs that could be worked around. We were so impressed by his workers who dug most of the project by hand in incredible heat and humidity. The site was cleaned up and organized at the end of the workdays. The exterior of the house and the window wells look expertly done and the masons did a lot of extra little touches that really improved the appearance of our house. We are very happy to now have a dry basement & fresher smelling home. Would definitely recommend Adelio's.

The crew worked continually and professionally. Casey(?) kept us informed of what was happening and how it was being done. They cleaned up afterward, even replacing a concrete rock that I use along the drive. It's those little touches that are noticed and appreciated. After having dealt with companies and individuals who were not responsive or who did mediocre work, Adelio's is such a gift. I recommend them highly.

The technician arrived on time, explained what he would be doing, and set to work. Upon completion of the installation, the technician showed me what he did and provided suggestions for operating the disposal. The technician was friendly and he conducted himself in a professsional manner. This is the third time that we have used Adelios Contracting. Thanks to Angie's List, we were able to find a company that responds quickly to your phone call, and they employ people who are knowledgeable and and highly professional. We will definitely remember Adelios Contracting for future projects.

Excellent workmanship. Job site left in perfect shape. You wouldn't even know there were there. Flower bed and plants restored perfectly.

To be quite honest, we had another service company come out and do 1/8 of the job and then told us that we needed 20k worth of sewer work done. They billed us over 800.00 and my wife was in tears over this news. I decided to get a second opinion and was recommended to Adelios from numerous people. They came right over, assessed the situation and gave us several options. The biggest difference is that they took the time to explain all of the options. One of the options was one that the other company didn't even mention and that was to find a main cleanout underneath my driveway to get into the sewer better. They were able to get in through that cleanout by making a slight cut in the driveway, sent a camera down in the sewer to assess further. They spent 4-6 hours cleaning out the pipe and were able to take it from a nightmare root situation to an almost new looking situation. I have footage on dvd from the previous company and then i have footage from Adelios showing the difference.. You would think it was a different property when they were done. They then sat us down and did show us some aging and cracking of the pipes and showed us several options that may occur over the next 10 years. As of now, it looks as if they were able to save us years to prepare for what may become the major repair, but you can bet that they will be the first company i call when its time to use them.

fantastic. they found a faulty downspout connection just dumping water under garage floor. went above and beyond to correct the problem at no extra cost. Quality job, by quality people.

They did an Excellent Job! Everything was done exactly as quoted, They were very professional, very accommodating. Everything was cleaned up and all trash was removed. I would absolutely recommend Adelios.

Everything went smoothly and the work was done quickly and professionally. Although it was a big project, they made it much easier than we expected. It was easy working with them and they were very clear about the different options available to us and the pricing implications. It never felt like they were trying to talk us into things we didn't need. We went with them not because they had the lowest price (if that had been our goal, I imagine we could have had it done for less) but because we wanted the work done right by a reliable company. It is too soon to assess the effectiveness of the work: we won't know until the heavy rains come in the Spring.

The job went better then I expected... the workmen were fast, neat and cleaned up the yard nicely after excavation. Sergio and his team have done work for me in the past, and they always "do it right" and for what seems the best price. I highly recommend this team!

The crew was professional, courteous, knowledgable, fast, and thorough. Everything was cleaned up every day and at the end of the job. No complaints-highly recommend this company!

Twice we called upon Adelio's for foundation waterproofing. In each case, Adelio's responded quickly. The crew worked neatly and very efficiently to dig out sections of the exterior foundation, flush the drain pipes, and then waterproof the exterior walls. Adelio's made all arrangements for inspection by the city of Mayfield Heights. The crew filled in the trenches and completed the job immediately after the inspections. The work was ongoing from day one until it was finished on day three or day four. Other than the fresh top soil where the trenches were dug, you would not know that anything on the property had ever been disturbed. That is important because some new driveway concrete had been poured and the crew had to work around it. We highly recommend Adelio's.

Too early to tell if the waterproofing has completely worked but I suspect it has. They backfilled the ditch with small gravel to ensure good drainage and then made sure to grade the topsoil away from the house. Sewers are working great! Driveway is a major improvement. They took care to keep my yard in good shape and cleanup was done quickly and thoroughly. I think this was a very thorough job done by professionals. I can't say enough good things about the crew. They arrived everyday on time and worked hard. The crew chiefs took time to explain things to me and my wife. The workmen were pleasant to be around and seemed to enjoy the attention my 3 yr old grandson. If I had any questions or issues, Sergio or Alex would get right back to me. I must say I was astonished at this level of customer service. It is really great. They exceeded my expectations !

Excellent work - very informative and patient with my questions about the work. Took photographs of the job as requested. Cleaned up very well and returned my property to the same condition as found. Highly recommended.

Adelios did a very good job with this work. We had several people out to look at the issue at our house and Adelios was by far the most thorough and knowledgeable as far as what the options were and how to proceed. We have a ninety year-old house and the company demonstrated a sound understanding of the issues involved in working with older houses. The work was done in a timely and professional manner and we are very satisfied with the result.

Over the years the surrounding ground level has risen above our ground level sunroom. Every large rainfall caused flooding due to the fact that 2 sides of our sun-room had wood decking which silt, etc built up. Had several estimates for "fixes" until I discussed with Sergio (President) of Adelio's. Unfortunately Sergio recommended removing the decks, drain tile around the sun-room and tie-in all gutters which were only surface draining. Really didn't want to remove the wood decks, but was absolutely the best recommendation we had. A crew of 3 came and worked extremely hard, did an excellent job and phenomenal clean-up.

The work that Adelios did was just about the best work I have seen a contractor do. From the moment Sergio came to bid on the job to the time of completion was nothing but PROFESSIONAL! It was a difficult job in that they needed to remove my existing patio and work with my landscaper. It was just so amazing to see them both work together to compete the job. Jason, the foreman on the job, was professional and extremely neat in all the excavation work, making sure that my neighbors were not inconvenienced. (I live in a condominium and our backyards are close). The work was completed in a weeks time with not stone broken or missing.

They did an excellent job digging and completing the job in a just a few days. There was actually an issue that came up a year later that may or may not have been related and Sergio from Adelio's fixed it no questions asked. Will use them forever.

I was pleased with Nate, and the problems were not his fault. However, I was not pleased with the final bill. I called the owner and talked to him about it. He listened to my concerns, and I am very pleased with the compromise on the price.

This company did an extraordinary job on a home that is 125 years old in a historic neighborhood. The President of the company is extremely hands on, and easy to reach on email and the business number. Their response time is within the day, and their punctuality is amazing. They are very mindful of the neighborhood, and made sure that they had placed equipment on site, in a safe location. So as not to create disruptive traffic and walking patterns in a vibrant neighborhood,. A thoughtful consideration that most companies don't appreciate nor even have a concept of doing. Every single technician, crew worker, and foreman on site was knowledgeable, hard working, and friendly. Open to questions and information on the task at hand. Each day on the job, water and sewer were available for us to use during the day and evening. When things needed to be shut down it was for less than an hour , and only for 1 time actually. . That in itself is an unbelievably hard promise to achieve for important essential piping being tied in to a new line. As far as the worry, that was a waste of my time. If you are able to move your perennials to an area of your yard that you will be able to water, not in direct sun. Employ a tarp and some buckets for large plants, the 3 day job is plenty of time to survive and be replanted by the homeowner. This was an easy task, that I was able to do, in a few hours after the job was completed. It is in your best interest to move the plants in the line of the sewer pipe from your house. Including stepping stones and other hardscaping you may have in an established landscaped yard. As a homeowner of this century + home, with delicate and fragile porch railings, trim, and walkways, this is truly the most expert professional working crew in Northern Ohio. The quality in their neatness and skillful work ethic is impeccable.

IT WAS VERY!!! TOUGH WORK, BUT THEY DID A GREAT JOB. I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT THAT MY WET BASEMENT WALL PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED.

Adelios dug outside of the foundation where the water problem was occurring in the basement and they discovered the issue was with that downspout taking on too much water at that corner of the basement. Adelios discovered tree roots had actually invaded and blocked the drain tiles on the opposite side of the house causing the water to back up, rise and leak into the basement. They replaced the drain tiles and installed maintenance access drains so we could ensure the drains stay clear over the years. Adelios workers were punctual each day and very courteous. We initially thought it would be a job lasting only a few days, however, they diligently worked to find the cause of the issues we were having and the job ended up taking a little over a week. I'm sure the extent of the problem affected their schedule with other jobs (they never let me know that it had, nor did I feel they were rushing to finish); yet they continued working until the entire job was finished. They dug by hand through hard clay filled soil and only dug the width needed for the men to replace the drain tiles. You can hardly tell the extent of the excavation by looking at the ground on the entire side of the house and the 12'+ where they initially dug. I would highly recommend Adelios Contracting to anyone needing this type of repair to their home or business.

I was extremely impressed by the quality of work. All of the men working at the house were very polite and kept me informed of their progress. Most importantly they cleaned up everything and replaced the landscaping so that you never would know that they had been there. The project turned out to require a little more work than originally anticipated but the company still charged us for the price they quoted.

We had water leaking into our basement from the edge where one wall of the basement and floor met. Adelios came immediately to assess the problem and knew exactly what the issue was and the most effective way to permanently fix the problem. I was fearful of undergoing an exterior excavation and waterproofing process to my home. However Sergio with Adelios assured me that the project would be completed quickly and with minimal troubles. He was right. His team came a week later and in two days excavated the wall, replaced the old broken/ clogged drain tiles, sealed the exterior wall, filled it with gravel, and repaired our stone walk way and landscaping to its original condition. I barely even knew they were there. The quality of work was exceptional and 5 months later there isn't a drop of water or signs of moisture in our basement even with the heaviest of rain. We would certainly use them again if needed.

From my initial contact with Sergio, the owner, I was impressed by his confidence, professionalism, and knowledge. I could quickly tell that Adelio's was the company for the job. Sergio quickly assessed the problem, and the project went almost exactly as he anticipated it would. Throughout the project the Adelio's crew, and particularly crew foreman Corey, were professional, punctual, and courteous. They kept me informed as to their progress and answered all my questions. For the amount of work they performed I found the price to be very reasonable. And ultimately, my sewer works better now than in the entire 13 years we've lived in this house. Adelio's did a great job and, if I need their services again, I would not hesitate to call them. I was very impressed!
