I got 3 estimates. Adelio's was much lower than the others because they found a simple, expensive way to solve the problem. Their goal was to fix the problem as inexpensively as possible, not to justify a big job that would earn them lots of money, which many contractors do.

It went very well. In mid-July, during a heavy rain, my sanitary sewer backed up into my basement, flooding it with water and raw sewage. The city said their sewers were clear, so they suggested I have my sewers checked and snaked. I called Adelio's Contracting and the president, Sergio DiFranco, called me back. The estimate and the actual work followed in two successive weeks. Sergio called to confirm both appointments, was prompt and very professional. I have been dealing with water backup into my basement for over ten years. I have had many plumbers and sewer people here giving opinions and doing work. It seems to me that Sergio's approach to the problem makes more sense than the others.

They are very responsible, trustworthy, and do good work.

We've used this company before, as have several other neighbors. Always prompt in returning calls; bill equals the estimate/contract. They come at exactly the time they say they will be there, work like crazy and get the job done. What a miserable occupation in hot weather, but I swear, I never saw them take a break. If they did, they did it in 'shifts' so the work never stopped. No question about getting required work permits from the city...and ultimately, the owner came back a couple of days later to see if we thought everything had gone well. Wished we had done more work with them two years ago when they did the same type of job on a different section of our aging foundation - but you know - you tend to do what you must rather than thinking about what you'll have to do later. Have no question about recommending them to someone else. They really know what they are doing - even if it means doing it the 'hard' way. A side note: We had young teenage grandsons visiting, who were, of course, curious. One of the youngsters asked a worker how neat a job he thought it was. Very politely, as he paused drilling through concrete supports for a front porch some 6-7 feet below ground, the man smiled and reported that it was good to help people, but that if our grandson studied hard, he might not have to spend his working life in deep trenches in hot weather. We overheard it and smiled quietly. One hopes - a lesson learned.

Adelios did a great job. In two days all the work was completed. They were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable in what they did. They were very careful digging the trench from the house to the road. They took care of the city permit and had the utility companies come and mark the gas and water lines. We just had three inches of rain last night and my basement is dry. I am very satisfied with the job Adelio did. The price was competitive or below other quote's I received.

Sergio was very responsive throughout the quoting process and when the work was being done. He was friendly and professional. The work was done in a timely manner even though the weather did not cooperate. Overall, they did a very good job given the weather and the extra work required to dig up the old drain pipes. They worked with us to save some of the landscaping and agreed to spread the excess dirt in low lying areas in the back yard. Overall we are pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

The workers arrived as scheduled. They were professional and worked very hard. They cleaned up thoroughly each day. The work was completed on schedule. The end result was a properly working drain that is beautiful.

Sergio DiFranco (company president) made an appointment to come to my house the day after I called. He was prompt and gave me a minimum price as well as additional costs if more than the minimum was needed to complete the repair. I understood that excavation was necessary, and that it was likely that more than the minimum would be needed. When the work started, Sergio showed me where the problem was in regards to the water not draining because of heavily clogged drains, broken downspout pipes, and the foundation wall with no covering which is what caused water to enter the basement. He recommended further excavation under the deck and further down the drieway (as there was water entering the basement in these two additional areas). I authorized the repair and his workers took care of everything in a timely manner. Sergio's company was very professional. His workers were at the house when Sergio said they would be there and he called when there was an interupption of the work due to bad weather. I especially appreciated his communications as many contractors do not return calls. Although this repair was expensive, I felt that I got a fair price. I did receive one other quote which was 30% higher than Adelio's. I highly recommend Adelio's for basement waterproofing.

We were very happy with them. They just finished the job yesterday. I actually don't know the cost. They were responsive, professional, and punctual. We would use the company in the future.

They were absolutely fantastic. There service was outstanding. They were prompt. They were hard workers. They cleaned up well after themselves. We had some rain and our basement hasn't leaked. Now I know that they did a good job.

Absolutely stellar. They did such a great job. They were neat, timely, and the work they did works! Our basement is waterproof. I had to call a year later and request more stone, after things settled, they came out without charging and laid more.

No services were performed. The president of the company Sergio DiFranco came out and determined that the leak is probably from a plumbing in the kitchen sink above the area. He recommend I get a plumber to do the work to see if he could stop the leak. I was impressed by this company's responsiveness, punctuality, and professioanlism. They did not charge me for the estimate and gave me what appear to be good recommendations. I would certainly use them again if I needed services they provide.

I would recommend them to anyone. They finished the work in a week and half. They cleaned up everyday. They were not the cheapest, but not the most expensive.

another company abandoned replacing sewer and drain tiles when confronted with violations by the city inspector. the yard had collapsed after being open for several months. Adelios saved the day by redoing the faulty work as well as completing the job in an efficient professional manner.

He did a satisfactory job. I had some problems with the people that repaired the asphalt. Adelio came back to check it for me, I was happy about that.

They are totally reliable and their prices are fair. They are easy to communicate with. The prices are competitive.

We choose to go with another company that could get the job done faster.

They came on time, and did what they said they were going to do. They had to dig out and replace an underground footer drain and also waterproof the foundation. They're also working on another drain pipe in our back yard at the moment. They're clearing the blockage in that.

They are first rate. I wouldn't even dream of calling anybody else. They have huge experience, a lot of equipment. They are neat and they don't destroy your house unnecessarily. They are in and out and they finish when they say they will. They know what they're doing.

They were on time everyday and they stayed until the job was completed. They were very nice, neat, and clean. I would most definitely use them again in the future.

Needless to say Adelio's was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but the workmanship was excellent, and no payment was requested until the work was completed to our satisfaction, and he also accepted a coupon that had appeared in a mailer we recently received, even after he had quoted us a price.

As usual with Adelio Contracting, we were advised of the scope of the job with an estimate and timeframe that was adhered to. Despite a surprise with the deteriorated steel beam, the project was finished on time. Sergio and Adelio advised us of our options and cost for correcting the support issue and they carried out this extra work without hesitation. (We conferred with a contractor whom we use for home-improvement projects and he concurred that we were presented with reasonable options, cost estimates and that we made the right decision to go with the block wall to support the house). The work crew, which included the owners, were prompt each day, courteous and professional and left an organized and safe work space at the end of each day. This is typical for Adelio Contracting. On a related note, Adelio Contracting has done work at our home previously on five occasions. Three of these were urgent having to do with storm sewer drainage. Adelio and Sergio have always been responsive and helpful, even when they were already managing a busy and demanding schedule. Those early experiences led to jobs that were not urgent (basement waterproofing and storm sewer line replacement between home and street). Our experience on all of these jobs has been just as positive as with the most current job. Any surprises were handled professionally, with options presented allowing us to make informed decisions. We have never been surprised at the end of a job and we have not experienced failure of workmanship.

They responded with in 4 hours from my initial call and finished the job with in 3 days. The work was quick clean and efficient and at a fair price.

Sergio was very nice and was not a "plush" salesman. He was honest and gave me a fair price. They did the job very quickly and it was not as messy as I expected. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I called Sergio and explained my problem. He was able to come out and assess the situation. He returned the next day and repaired the pipe. When he was done he cleaned up and left the basement as clean as when he arrived.
