Everything went well initially. A week or so later, there was an issue with the backup pump itself (due to manufacturer's defect with the piping sleeve). Adelios Contracting came back promptly and took care of it, apoloigized even though it was not their fault. We would definitely use them again in future if and when the need arises.

Repair, replacement was made on the frozen pipes. The foyer gets the outside cold air which cause the pipes to burst during extremely cold temperature experienced during the cold spell on January 4, 5, 6th. Suggestions were made to insulate the area and provide vents to circulate the warm air from the rooms.

I got home lat at night and realized I had a pipe burst in the basement. Over the phone they walked me through how to shut off my main valve so I wouldnt have any more water leaking. The next morning they had a person out who fixed the pipes for me. I called two other places that wouldn't call back or do anything for me. Adelio's did do a great job for me though. I would recommend them to anyone.

Adelios provided plumbling services related to a broken pipe in our basement. Last Thursday, 1/9/14, a pipe broke and caused flooding (at around 9:00 PM). We turned off the water to the entire house that night. Then, we logged onto Angie's list on the morning of 1/10/14, called Adelios, and they said they could come out mid to late morning. 1 person arrived. He listened attentively and patiently to our story. Then simply turned the water back on to see where the water/leak was coming from. It was apparent within seconds where the leak was. Within minutes after that he had removed some of the plaster ceiling using a hand-saw and showed us the busted pipe. He explained why this could occur and then said what he would do to fix it. He said his boss would come over to look at the issue as well. Within 10-15 minutes his boss arrived. After roughly 1 - 1 1/2 hrs, the entire job was completed. He also advised us that we should probably keep the pipes exposed to the basement air and install a vent. He also gave us some other tips like bringing a space heater to this area of our unfiinished basement whenever extreme cold temps are forecasted. On another note, they did not seal up the ceiling since this is more of a construction task. But that was expected by us, so no problem there. For the extremely fast, patient, reliable, and friendly service provided at such a reasonable rate of ~$175 we were extremely happy with Adelios. My wife asked me to write a review and give them an A+. Unfortunately, that rating doesn't currently exist on Angie's list, but if it did, that would be their rating. So, RATING = A+

Excellent work. We have used Adelio's in the past for large basement waterproofing projects. We woke up one morning with sever pipes that burst due to freezing. I called Adelio's after trying several other plumbers at 7:30am and they had someone there at 8:30am. They do great work and are always honest about what needs to be done.

I called during a deep freeze and spoke with Sergio. I advised him I needed a pipe in my attic replaced. Sergio stated he could have Alex there first thing in the morning. I told him I got his company's information off of Angie's List. Sergio offered the 10% off labor without me even asking! The following day Alex met my Father In Law 10 minutes early at the house. My Father In Law raved about how intelligent and pleasant Alex was. Alex found another water leak in my garage but unfortunately did not have the tools on the truck to fix it. I have already called the company back to reschedule a time for Alex to fix this pipe. Highly recommended company!

Work crew initially reluctant to water jet drain and left, but returned to do the job after calling the boss. Thereafter, they completed the job but seemed to be in a rush to leave.

Original plan was to get two sides of house waterproofed (front of house has full length front porch). I obtained 5 quotes, and Adelio's quote was similar to two others (~ $8,000). I chose Adelio's because I liked the idea of a waterproofing membrane, which he uses, rather than tar, which the other contractors used. The job was supposed to take four days, so I planned to leave town on the evening of the fourth day. On the second day, they started to encounter unalticipated problems with drainage to street. This additional work and cost could not be anticipated before excavation. Sergio was prompt and effective in describing the problems to me both in person and by telephone. Issues with the watermain were not identified until I was out of town. There was no additional cost for replacement of the watermain. Sergio was very effective in communicating this to me long distance, coordinating with a friend of mine to give him access to my basement needed repair the the watermain on my side and contacting the city to repair their side. His team of workers did their best to minimize the impact on my front lawn. I should also note that one side of my house was lined by multiple slate tiles that had to be removed for excavation and replaced afterwards. I took it for granted that everything was replaced in order, and it looked like it did before the excavation, but several landscapers who came to provide quotes for subsequent work specifically commented on the quality of this aspect of the work

I placed the call on Wednesday, Alex came to the house on Thursday to assess the situation and provide a quotation. He also sourced the new toilet and coordinated the installation for the following morning at 8 or 9 a.m. The plumber (John?) arrived at about 8:40 and proceeded with the work. He completed the installations before 11 a.m. They had received the wrong toilet seat so John went out and acquired the easy close seat that we wanted. He returned, and installed it before 11:45 a.m. I wrote a check to complete the transaction. The work was performed neatly and on time. I was very happy with Adelios' service, and would use them again for any plumbing issues I encounter. John was extremely cordial and hard-working.

We purchased one of the Angie's List plumbing "big deals." Service was easy to schedule. Technician was right on time. Work was performed quickly - no problems. I would definitely use again.

Very well. Check all the faucets connection. Hot, cold, and drainage. replace the water drain faucet. Chalk the area around the tub.

Went well, was charged separately for the faucet itself, which I had expcted.

Plumber did an excellent job - very quick and professional work. A few minor problems with parts that needed to be adjusted to make the disposal fit properly. Plumber was very cordial and cooperative. After finishing the installation, there was still time left on my coupon and he took a look at a couple of other plumbing issues I had and gave me some advice on how to deal with them.

Contractor showed up on time and completed the job in a timely fashion.

Sergio returned my phone call within 3-4 hours. I described to him my basement flooding problem despite waterproofing basement two years ago. He was a good listener. Sent someone out , Alex, the next morning to camera inspect as well as talk with me about improving my basement floor drain connection. Alex called Sergio to tell him what the problem was and what work was needed. Sergio came right out to give me an estimate for work...and as luck had it....there were men who could do the job this same day as they were working in the area. To my complete delight...men were there in three hours...were friendly and courteous and completed the job by 5pm. In 8 hours I had my problem detected, cost quoted and job done. It was luck for me workmen could do job that day. I have signed a second contract with this company and will give feedback on this as well. Sergio honestly told me on July 24th that he could not give me a date for this second job to begin. I respected that and have received the cost estimate and mailed it back this past weekend. I hope to hear from him soon. I highly recommend Adelios Contracting Co.

They moved some bushes for me. They dug down to the foundation and told me exactly what they were going to do. They put down a strip and applied the waterproofing. They also filled everything in with gravel and dirt. They also replanted the bushes they moved. They did find some cracks they decided to repair but, before making those repairs they let me know the cost would increase.

I have used Adelios in the past, and rehired them to put a battery back up on my sump pump. I find the company very professional and efficient. They come on time, do what they say they are going to do, and charge what they said they would charge, which, unfortunately, in this day and age is not a given. I put N/A for the price because I did not comparison shop; the price sounded fair, and since I had an excellent experience with them in the past, we went ahead with taking them for this job as well. I have confidence in their work, and Sergio is very easy to contact with any question or concern.

They were so efficient, I thought he price was a little high but then I don't know how much plumbers are. I called them one day and the next day they had somebody out here at 8:00 am and he was so efficient in explaining everything to me, everything he does; honestly I was very impressed with them. He did replace an outside faucet, he put a better faucet than I had and he got parts for the toilet.

Trees surround our house on all sides-coming right up to the sides of the house. Over several years our storm drains fill with debris from the trees, plugging them up. This happens even if we clean the gutters several times a year. We first used Adelio's over six years ago and were very pleased. When our gutters started spilling over we called them again. Sergio was out of town but called as soon as he returned. The service was prompt and efficient. The rain water now flows into our runoff stream again. Since both my husband and I work it was helpful that we did not need to be home when they did their work. We will certainly use them again.

They did the work they were supposed to do. I was a little disappointed that they didn't come back to check with us to see that everything was done to our satisfaction when they were finished but the we were satisfied with what they did. They worked hard and they came in with what the estimate was. They worked everyday and they worked on time. We seemed to get along. They were polite, professional and punctual. They had to make noise with the machinery but they didn't go wrong. They accomplished what they were supposed to do. They had a reasonable price. I could recommend them to someone else. The basement is dry. I probably will use them again in the future.

They had a young man come out and he fixed the problem. They were on time and they did a good job.

I hired Adelios to investigate the gutter downspouts and window wells on a 90 year old historic home that had been neglected for the past 35 years. The responded promptly and were pleasant to work with. They found the downspouts to be in working order but said the that window well drains on one side of the house were clogged with about three feet of particulate matter and were not snakable. They told me my only option was to excavate the drains and rebuild the window wells, no small task given that the window wells are surrounded by an oranate sand stone porch the sits on a 10 foot concrete base. Despite not being able to complete the assigned task they charged me the entire estimated cost of $1,200. I also asked them to estimate excavation and waterproofing of the entire basement. Sergio quoted $45,000 and gave me no alternatives. I have since hired another highly rated company on Angie's list who were willing to work with me and my relatively difficult situation to come up with a lower cost alternative. They excavated two walls of the basement to the foundation and water proofed them. On the side of the house with sand stone porch they were able to jet the footer drains from the side they had excavated and additionally spent 3 hours working on the window well drains and were able to get them flowing. The total cost was $18,000 and I now have a dry basement. I general I was displeased with my interactions with Adelios.
