Waibel Electric

Waibel Electric did a great job. Unfortunately, when installing a light onto a pretty huge mirror, the mirror cracked (after the electricians left). I called to inform the company what happen. I can't say enough about Waibel Electrics response. They quickly sent out 2 different companies to get an estimate of the damages and have approved the repair. Mark Waibel and his team were really proactive and were in consistent communication with me as we have gone through the process. They certainly lost money on this job, but they have gained a new client and one that will refer them to anyone that needs electrical services.

I could not be happier! Mark sent Steve and Zachary out for the first job, and then Steve came out for the second job with Jacob, who specializes in old house rewiring. The first job was finding a way to run power to my overhead front porch light, which is original to my over 100-year-old house. I had been putting this job off because I thought it was complicated. I called Waibel and talked to Mark about it, and he sent Steve and Zachary. Steve is an electrical genius. Without going into all the details of this outdoor light and its wiring, it was a big challenge, but Steve found a way in lightening quick time. In what can only be called a work of art, Steve used metal conduit to connect a neutral to the light. On the first job, Steve also did some troubleshooting on an overhead fan with a remote and replaced a switch. On the next trip, Steve and Zachary ran an new 20 amp circuit, installed two new GFI outlets, re-hung the side pantry light, ran a 15 amp line and installed two LED under-cabinet lights, ran a 15 amp line, installed a box, and hung a pendant light (perfectly) using wire mold. The pendant and under-cabinet light are controlled by external switches, the pendant on a dimmer. The pantry has been transformed! Oh, and they also replaced an outlet I use for the space heater with a GFI outlet and checked an outside outlet. These two worked very fast and are very hard workers. I am delighted with their work. Steve is easy to talk to and funny; I felt comfortable asking him questions. He has really ingenious ideas about how to wire things, and he has a great eye for dimensions and aesthetics (in addition to being an electrical genius). He is easily the best electrician I have ever worked with, and I have worked with many really fine electricians over the years as I try to bring the electrical service in my old house up to code. Mark has been super responsive in scheduling with me and in finding a good time for both me and the electricians. Waibel is really the best, and if they are booked out a week in advance, it is for good reason. I am so glad I called them. I will ask Mark if he can send Steve out again for my bathroom re-wiring. Steve is so much fun to work with, and he will go out of his way to not just make it right, but make it perfect, re-wiring is no longer a chore! I used my 5% Angie's List discount, which helped with the cost, but even without the discount, Waibel is more than worth every penny.

Came out on time of my appointment and installed light. Had some difficulty adjusting the proper angle of the light because it had to be mounted under the overhang of the roof. Light bulb burned out next year and bulb had to be changed. They came out and replaced it. I thought the service call of $80.00 plus $48.00 for the bulb was pretty hefty.

Steve came from Waibel Electric the same day I called. He was fantastic -- knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly, with a good sense of humor. Trouble shot the circuit quickly and the lights are back on. Great job. I'll use Waibel again.

Terrible. Took our initial call and then never called us back as they promised to schedule.

Excellent service. Showed up on time and was very pleasant to work with. Cost was far better than another quote I received from another electrician in the Cbus area. Will definitely be calling them in the near future for other electrical improvements to our home.

It went great. The electrician was very personable, explained everything to me, and even stayed to complete a small second project.

I have to tell you I am all about customer service - I will go out of my way and even pay more for it if you give me great customer service. In a world where this is hard to find, these guys were awesome! I can not sing their praises enough. They were prompt, personable, funny, got right to work. They asked all the right questions on how we wanted the installation told us what they were going to do and got to it. Being in an office, they completely respectfully of the work going on around them. And then, once they were done, they actually completely cleaned up after themselves. Not only did they vacuum the carpet, but actually got the hose out to make sure the molding along floor was properly cleaned. All the dirt and dust - gone! That is old school customer service! We were so impressed. EVERYONE in the office commented on how great they were. I can not sing their praises enough of their professionalism and work ethics. Oh, and the price was great too. Steve was my technician and was able to install my transfer switch in about an hour. There was already an existing switch but was out of warranty and I felt safer replacing it to a modern Generac Transfer switch.

It went wonderful. He was very polite and courteous, cared about his work. He as well showed up 15 minutes early as well.

Outstanding job and a very fair price. Had to come back twice to fit everything in but to be fair when I saw how good this electrician was I kept adding to his "to do" list. Many of these jobs were not straight forward. He had to spend a great deal of time in attics and crawl spaces routing wiring where it did not exist previously. I have had other electricians in other houses say they couldn't do things, this man just thought about things and figured out a solution for every single problem. I was beyond impressed.

Perfect as usual. For all of my electrical work over the last 15+ years has been with Waibel; and, never had a bad experience.

Everything went fine. They still have a little work to do after some framing work is completed.

Since I was getting no power to a number of outlets and devices, Andy first started checking a number of outlets and examined the wiring in some of them. Upon re-connecting the wires in one of the outlets, the lights came back on and it appeared the work was done. Very simple. As they were preparing to leave, however, upon my plugging in a surge protector, the power failed again and then the detective work began. After figuring out how the wiring was strung in my almost 70 year old house, Andy found the troublesome outlet, which had partially melted. The outlet was replaced and the problem solved!!!! Thank you. I have used the provider for other electric repairs and have always been satisfied. I'll definitely use them again if the need arises!

The service was excellent. The electrician arrived on time, explained everything that he was doing as he was doing it, explained why certain things needed to be done a certain way, codes, etc. He was professional and honest; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

The electrician was punctual, polite, and efficient. And the thermostat is working beautifully.

We did not hire them because they wanted to charge an additional 80$ for each visit. They quoted 5000.$ for a grand total of repairs BUT that is too much work to be done all at once. I wanted to have the work broken up into smaller jobs over a period of time. Not for an additional 80$ a visit. I cannot afford that when I have so much work that needs to be done. We hired Quality electric instead.

The company's owner provided excellent service when I needed some fixes done in the process of selling our house. He was fair, timely, and provided good communication. Would definitely recommend!

They were prompt,,professional, and neat. He cleaned up his work area, replaced the drywall he had to cut out and left me with a beautiful shiny light. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

A positive experience in all areas, price was a little high, but I guess I don't know how much a service call and tightening 3 wires should cost.

Overall, it went fine. I've had a lot of work done in my house this summer and am increasingly sensitive to the small things. Like closing the door when the air conditioning is on and it is 91 degrees outside. WHY do contractors do this? Is that how they roll in their own homes? The two technicians were 45 minutes late, but worked quickly once they arrived. They were polite, did exactly what I asked of them and adjusted to an equipment mishap that was totally my fault. Thank you! I am also picky about how my house is treated so that the crew agreed to put shoe covers on was great. They also hauled away the old ceiling fan, which was also nice.

He did an excellent job in a short amount of time. Cleaned up after himself and explained in detail what he did. Was very nice. This is the third time that I have used Waibel Electric for various electric projects around my house. Whenever an electrical problem comes up, Waibel Electric is the one and only electrical vendor that I contact. Their prices are reasonable, their people are very nice and they always on time. I never have to get wait long to get an appointment either. I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks.

Andy was our serviceman. He worked us into his schedule. He got right to the problem. Figured out the outlet causing problem and fixed it. All outlets were working when he left.

The guy showed up on time, which was nice. He also did the work at almost $50 cheaper than the estimate.
