Description of Work: Stacy's flooring refinished all the hardwood in the house - about 75% of the flooring in our house is hardwood. They did a fantastic job. Prior to doing the work, they tore out all of the carpet and tack strips that were on top of the hardwood. Additionally, they tore out all the carpet and put down new carpet in the basement.

Description of Work: They removed carpet and pad from 4 bedrooms and hallway. They moved furniture while doing this.

Description of Work: Stacy's Flooring installed laminate flooring throughout the entire 1st floor of our home to include entry hallway, 1/2 bath, mud room, family room, great room, kitchen, a closet, a pantry and living room. We shopped 6 stores throughout the Miami Valley including Springfield, Beavercreek, Dayton and Brookville. We shopped 2 mega home improvement stores and 4 specialty stores. Quality of product was not a concern while shopping as all businesses carried quality flooring and it was easy to find like products. Installation/service was a different animal to find. The mega stores wouldn't tell us or give us information on who would be installing and we didn't like the idea of having 3 parties in on the purchase: the store, the installers, and the manufacturer of the product. To us that was a finger pointing nightmare if something went wrong. Stacy's was the only business that gave us the confidence that we had found the best price matching up with a quality installation and follow-up after the sale. The owner even came to our home with a sample of flooring similar to what we had picked out that he had found a manufacturer's sale on and showed us approximately a $1500 savings if we decided to go with that product. He brought the sample to us to see and yet placed no pressure on us to purchase. Mr. Stacy came to our home and completed a thorough and fast estimate at no charge. Only 1 other store did that, the others charged to complete the estimate in the home. One of the key considerations for us besides total cost was that the installers worked for Stacy and he was going to be responsible to us, not another installation company. The installers were on-time, courteous and professional. They got in and got out in 2 1/2 days. They installed new underlayment where we had carpeting beforehand and insured with leveling compound that the carpeted area was level with the previously vinyl floored area. They were the only company that removed baseboard and reinstalled it over the new floor, not just put down a quarter-round on the baseboard to cover the gap. They caulked all doorway areas, installed custom trim on our kitchen appliances, moved all furniture/appliances, removed and took away old carpeting and even pulled up and reinstalled the toilet in our 1st floor 1/2 bath. They did everything they said they would do and more. The floor looks like it was an original installation and we absolutely love it. Our home looks new once again and we cannot say enough positive things about Stacy's Flooring. It's so refreshing to have a company go above your expectations in this day and age. Shop them, you won't be dissapointed!
