The job was done very well! They are the only one who diagnose the problem and they redo the work and fixed it.

The process was great from beginning to end. Angie’s list recommended; next they called back in less than an hour; then came out to survey same week; Gary diagnosed the issue instantly with all his experience. Finally, the crew that came out was awesome, They were informed at what the job was, explained what they were doing, and got to work and finished very quickly- very professional. Price was 'spot on' for services rendered. Would highly recommend to anyone in Tri-state area.

Review #1: Stay away from Lance Roofing. They could not care less about their customers. I requested an estimate for a roofing job in late July 2019. They said they could get someone out in mid August and put me on the schedule for a specific day. Not only did they never show up, but they never called and never provided and estimate. It has been over 3 months. If that's not terrible customer service, then I don't know what is. The job is still not done and I will be going with some other company, ANY other company that actually cares about their customers, does what they say they are going to do and does the job right. Review #2: Horrible company! This is my second review. I should have known better, but I asked Lance Roofing to help me fix my leaking roof because they were the ones who initially put the roof on and I thought maybe it might be under warranty. Apparently the warranty expired 4-5 months before my roof started leaking. That is not my beef with them. The problem is their customer service and lack of follow through. They just do not follow through. I called their office the 3rd week of October and told them I HAVE a leak, not think there might be a leak, but I HAVE a leak and would like to schedule them to come out and fix it. The lady on the phone was relatively nice, but she said they could not get me on the schedule until 2 weeks later. I was disappointed and expressed my concern of things getting worse, especially with the upcoming rain forecast, but I told her to please put me on the schedule, so she did. On the day of the appointment at the time scheduled, Lance Roofing did NOT show up. We had to call the office and said, well, he should be there. Finally he showed up and took a quick look and said, "well, it looks like you have a leak." Duh! He said I will let the office know and they can get you on the schedule to get it repaired. That is where we about lost it. They should have already had me on the schedule for the repair, or at least held a spot on the schedule so it wouldn't be delayed even further. They did not think or plan ahead. STRIKE ONE was my previous review, the above was STRIKE TWO and now we are into STRIKE THREE. The office said they would call us to get us on the schedule. It has been two weeks and no one has called. I personally drove to the office today to check on the status of my job. They just casually looked up my name and said, "oh, so and so hasn't finished putting together the list of materials needed for the job and we can't get you on the schedule until he does that." In other words, 2 more weeks wasted with nothing to show for it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Lance Roofing & Siding. They only care about the big money jobs and couldn't care less about the little guy!

I recieved an estimate in July. returned it signed a couple of days later. Was told they were 4-6 weeks out. I waited for two months before l emailed asking when they would get to me. And if I needed to seek out another company to have work done. I was apologized to and told they had gotten behind because of the weather. I was fairly offended beings it had only rained may 3-4 times invalid two month period. I was assured they would be contacting me to schedule it soon. So I waited. Another couple weeks go by and I emailed again. Asked again if I needed to seek another company. Was assured they would be putting me on the schedule the next week. that was about three weeks ago. Now I'll be waiting until next year. thanks for nothing.

I have a long driveway and not able to clear snow anymore. They do a very good job on snow removal. I use them every year.

Replaced damaged pieces on side of house (high visibility area) by harvesting pieces from the back of house (low visibility area). The new pieces were then added to the back which was still a very close match visually.

All vents are good and "leak" is from condensation and he proposed a simple fix. There was no charge!!

In this particular case, Lance Roofing offered the best price by far. The workers did a fine job.....very competent, hard working, and accommodating. Clean up afterward was very thorough. They finished the whole job in less than a day.

Not good 1st roof they put on had to be completely torn off and a new put on 1st one . And then after the 2nd one I wanted a independent to come and inspect this one seeing how the 1st was such a mess. The owner threaten to take me to court He is VERY unprofessional. I had it inspected anyway they said it was not the best job they had seen but should work. I would not recommended this company had to keep calling & they seldom returned a call

They came out, repaired the problem, showed me things about what they were doing so I was comfortable that it was going to last, they finished up promptly and cleaned up after themselves. They had 2 people on site for the project. They were very easy to work with and very informative. The work turned out, it was completed and everything has been fine since then. Yes, I would use their services again in the future.

Professional workmanship. Effective follow-up for quotes and bids.

They patched my roof until they could replace it upon asking and they worked from 6:30-dark completing job in one day. They did a good job picking up the majority of roofing materials.

The company is probably good but the guy they sent out did a terrible job. Since the rafters are not visible one would think a good job was done. But I went up into the attic crawl space to inspect finished job. That is when I discovered that the guy just nailed a couple 2x4s to the broken rafters. The miter cuts he made did not have the correct angle therefore the boards were not able to properly hold the weight of the roof. After several trips back out I made the guy sister boards on both sided of the broken rafters and bolt them together. Also while he was doing the work he dropped a board through my ceiling and had to come back out to repair that as well. His ceiling repair was not done very well either, he put primer on the drywall before the tape was dry causing bubbles on the ceiling. I will have to repair this as well. I will not use this company again.

Very responsive to calls. Did the work in one day. Cleaned up area; however, I would recommend that you go over your driveway before driving your car on it after they are done. It is hard to get all the nails, etc up and we found about 15 nails that were missed. Reasonable rates. Nice to have skylights that don't leak and new gutters! I will use them again.

Quickest response of quote versus 3 other providers. Price was competitive. After accepting quote, versus original commitment to complete was delayed by 1 week. If we had had more panels blown off this delay could have caused additional water damage also there seems to be lack of communication between sales contact Scott and those doing the service. This may be the main cause of the delay. No issue with quality of work done.

Ok. This is the story of the lowest price is not always the best price! We had 5 quotes and went with the lowest cost after considering all factors. Bad choice on our part. The Pros: (1) The Price; (2) Scott the Salesman was very attentive; (3) Roofing crew was hardworking and courteous; The Cons: (1) Finish work (caulking and cleanup) was awful. Nails everywhere, horrible flashing and caulking work, plants damaged. After two calls requesting rework, the roofing crew "redid" the chimney flashing. It still does not meet our standard, but we have given up! Scott the Salesman actually came out a week after "completion" and spent almost an hour cleaning up nails and roofing; (2) While the roofing crew was very hardworking and courteous, they all stripped down to their baggy shorts and were half naked on top of my roof for 2 days. Very unprofessional appearance; (3) As it was very warm on the work days, being naked on top of a roof for 6 hours can cause your body to overheat; therefore, several times I found crew members dealing with heat exhaustion or doing back exercises in my front yard because they had hurt themselves while working. Crew safety and professionalism does not seem to be a priority for this company. (4) Gutter crew was very uncourteous and in such a hurry that they threw debris right on top of me while I was talking to their foreman; Horrible cleanup afterward.

Called for an estimate even though I knew I was going to use them. It only took a few days and they were on it with a great estimate. Called and emailed the exact items needed to be fixed per a housing inspector. Brian had his guys jump right on the project and fix the shingles and gutters. There was a little confusion regarding the dryer vent but once we talked more on the phone (which was very great) his guys did what they needed. You can't go wrong with these guys. This is the 2nd time I have used them and they are my only roofing company.

Working with Gary is always a pleasure. They knocked out this roof quickly and for a fair price. Gary also made sure my concerns about the gutters were addressed.

Very well. I asked them to not bother the older woman tenant and they didn't. The bid package was the most professional document I'd ever seen. The other bidders seemed shocked that I wanted a SIGNED written statement. One bidder even changed his bid higher when I insisted. Materials and price was as bid and no problems were or have been encountered.

I have used Lance several times in the past, they are always do what they say they will do and do it in a timely manner. Whenever I have work that needs to be done on my houses, I always call Lance Roofing and recommend them to family and friends. And no, I am not related to any of them :)

Carpenter did a great job with siding and trim, was friendly and communicated well. The only negative was the cleanup after the work, which was a mess and required my wife to call and have someone come back to cleanup. Our gutter installation was a completely different story. It took the team an entire week to show up to install the gutters following the siding repair. When they showed up on a Saturday morning, they dumped several boxes and gutters into our front lawn and left 10 mins later. The boxes remained in our yard 2 to 3 days with no phonecall or sight of the crew. They finally showed back up and finished the job...yet again without a phonecall that they were coming. When we received our bill we were charged for gutter guards being installed, although they were not. The individual on the phone removed the charge when we called and told us they would come install them anyway free of charge...it's been 9 months and we are still waiting. Finally for the size of the job, the price seemed a tad steep at 4000 dollars.

The valley on my roof was funneling all the water towards a gutter that was too short. Lance roofing came in, replaced and added the shingles that needed to be replaced and installed a diverter. Now all the water runs to the gutter like it is supposed to.
