They were efficient, timely, knowledgeable, easy to work with and highly recommend them.

Work was done as promised. Complications for firebox rebuild were discovered and remedied without additional cost. Repairs to the chimney liners was done much less expensively than I thought possible without tearing into the brickwork. It seems that the owner treats his workers with respect. There is a team atmosphere on the job. He has more long-term employees than I have seen in companies that hire tradesmen.

The owner and his team were highly professional. We were very impressed with the mason who fixed some of the bricks at the base of the fireplace inside the home. Very detailed work. The owner came for the estimate and was very detailed in providing us with two alternative approaches (rebuilding the large chimney or tearing it down and sealing the roof) and explaining "why" the current leaking existed. He set expectations up front for when and how the work would take place and this is very important when working with service organizations (contractors!).

The owner is very professional. He clearly explained the options and identified another potential danger area. We opted to remove the chimney as the cost to rebuild (above the roof line) would have been $8,800. The team was courteous and professional.

I had an on/going issue and a leak that other contractors dropped the ball on. We called QPS for an estimate and they came out in a timely manner. He was extremely professional, didn’t beat around the bush, was courteous and honest. After the estimate they got us on the books as quickly as possible. He showed up exactly when he said he was going to be at my house and did a great job. Even though I think it was a little bit more work than originally anticipated they stuck to their estamate. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely use them again.

This updated review is long overdue and I apologize. Two years ago I needed some repair work done to my stack stone mailbox it was leaning due to excessive water erosion below it. I contacted multiple contractors including QPS without realizing it was the original firm that did the work in 2011. I didn’t expect any warranty coverage for the repair. Rob showed up, immediately recognized me, we reconciled and we proceeded to go over the needed work. Without hesitation, Rob, immediately said he would fix the work and not charge me for the labor or materials. I was floored, like I stated, he did the work over 5 years ago at the time, I expected nothing. He went above and beyond to make it right, above any expectations I had. He worked great with my schedule and got the repair done wonderfully over engineered for the need. Lesson for me, seek understanding, and above all, and in all, Grace! Rob and QPS is a great person and company, I would be thrilled to use them again and refer. He cares!

After getting estimates from several other companies to solve a problem with our chimney falling away from our house and getting suggestion on everything from jacking the chimney up to a complete reconstruction of the chimney, we called QPS. The office staff was very friendly and sent Rob out to look at our situation. He arrived on time and provided us with several options. We opted to remove the chimney completely and have the siding repaired since we haven't used the fireplace in 30 years. The crew arrived as scheduled Friday and got right to work. In a day and a half the chimney was gone, the siding replaced (they managed to find white aluminum siding to match our 50 year old siding!) and the mess was cleaned up and they were packed up and gone. Very nice guys who were respectful of our property. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them. Thanks Rob and crew!

Cleaned chimney, called back later to patch and seal. Did a great job and really took their time. They were slightly late to second appointment but not bad. Will hire again if needed.

From start to finish I have no complaints. They arrived on time and worked from morning until around 9 pm. They were professional and answered any questions I had. They also cleaned up any debris that resulted from the chimney repair. I highly recommend this company

Robert was very professional and a friendly guy. He cleaned 2 chimneys and also pointed out items to be aware of such as cracks in the bricks and chimney pipe height. We will certainly hire him again to clean our chimneys and perform any chimney work that is required.

During the inspection, Robert found a few things that he felt needed attention with our three chimneys. My home is 65 years old, so this wasn't a big surprise. He totally rebuilt the fireplace chimney, put in a flue liner in the furnace chimney and flashed all three. He is very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable doing business with him. We can now go into the winter season knowing that our chimneys are safe.

Poorly. The cleaning was not thorough...a second contractor finished it free of charge. The inspection "results" indicated that the chimney was not suitable for use with out all kinds of repairs. The estimate was ~$2500. Two additional contractors inspected the chimney and made some work recommendations but said that the chimney was in good working condition. I hired one of the two contractors to complete their recommended work at 40% of what QPS recommended. I'd like my money back from Angie's List!

Robert arrived right on time to complete the job. He was very professional and provided a lot of great information for a first-time wood burning fireplace owner. Very courteous, considerate and clean. The inspection and cleaning took about an hour. I plan on using QPS each time I need any work done on my chimney.

I use my fireplace insert from fall to spring and need to have my chimney cleaned every year. I took advantage of Angie coupon for QPS. QPS office called me the same day to schedule. I'm very pleased with their work...I plan to use them again. I highly recommend this company because of their work ethic and customer satisfaction.
