Description of Work: It was an Angies List special Chimney cleaning and inspection. They said the Chimney didn't need cleaning but their were mortar missing from chimney bricks and some general repairs. They used the Chimney cleaning cost towards the repairs which I was delighted about. I thought that their overall cost was high. They were very professional and up front with the costs. I authorized the costs before the work was done. Next time I will try to get other estimates earlier in the year instead of waiting until the end. I would definitely recommend them for future work

Description of Work: Thoroughly checked the chimney, defects were found so we did not actually have the chimney set up for winter , as it is going to require quite a bit of work . He did an excellent job of showing me the structural defects and recording them in such a way that I could see them and understood clearly what was happening.

Description of Work: QPS was great to work with! The owner took the time to educate me on all of the features on my fireplace, including flue operation and the ash collection bin in my basement. He took photos of the chimney while up on the roof, and was able to show me masonry work that will need to be repaired in the future. When we proceed with repairs and future chimney sweeping, we won't hesitate to call them!

Description of Work: Very happy with the services provided. We scheduled a chimney cleaning and inspection. The gentleman that came out was very professional and knowledgeable. After the inspection he let us know that the chimney looked good and did not need to be cleaned. We appreciate his honesty. We will use them again.

Description of Work: Checked 2 chimneys - did not need cleaning. Added two rain caps. Repaired cracks in firebox and cracks in the brick at the very top of the chimney. QPS LANDSCAPING AND CHIMNEY was very prompt and professional.
