Description of Work: He arrived on time, did a very thorough inspection. Found some issues, and assured us that the fireplaces were safe as they are now. The only concern I have is that he only vacuumed out half of the two sided fireplace and I found black grit on the carpet after he left.

Description of Work: The owner, came out and introduced himself. Then got straight to work. Went up on top of the roof to check the chimney from up top, then came into our house to clean out the chimney. He did a full inspection of both chimneys on our home and let us know of some cracking that was going on At the top of our chimney on the outside. He dropped a very detailed proposal in order to have this fixed. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the price he quoted for the exterior repair of the chimney. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Inspected shared chimney for basement and first-floor fireplace and found it did not need cleaning, but, as we suspected, does need repair. (House was built about 1940.) Technician provided three repair options and explained what would be required to ensure safe use of either or both fireplaces as well as recommendations as to what work is needed most urgently. A credit for the cleaning will be applied to future repair work, which we plan to schedule as weather permits.
