Platinum Restoration was incredible! They were prompt. Their service representative was professional and informative. He went to work drying damaged areas, cleaning debris, and basically getting us back to normalcy. We were truly clueless. What a relief to have Platinum Restoration to deal with our disaster. They knew what to do when we did not. Thank you Platinum Restoration!! We'll use them again if needed....for sure.

Mike, Larry and Kevin are a great team. They each listen to concerns, and follow through to make things right. I am grateful to each of these pleasant and knowledgeable men.

Do not use this company. They are crooks. We had them clean up an unfinished basement flood last June. They had 3 people working for about 5 hours. Afterward, we still had to do a final mop and put everything back in place. We were charged $1200 for that job. This March, shortly after the covid shut down, our basement flooded again. Once again we had Platinum come to help clean the mess which was much less significant this time. They had 3 people working about 3 hours to clean up. After they were finished we again had to complete a final mopping and return all items back to their places. Part of the reason that we called them this time is because I’m pregnant and can’t be around harsh chemicals and I also cannot move large shelving units right now. In addition, with the covid shut down, we couldn’t ask family or friends to help watch the kids or help with clean up. Platinum did not provide us with any estimate or indication of cost until almost a month later when we received a bill for $2800. Think about all of the things you can buy with $2800. It’s clearly not a fair price. Platinum took advantage of us in our time of need.

MISERABLE EXPERIENCE!! The contract said the job should be completed by early June 2016; it took repeated phone calls and nagging to get them to complete it by mid-December. The site manager did not seem to know what he was doing. He kept promising his crews would show up, then pulling them to other jobs that we presume he thought were more urgent/important. Sometimes, we'd go weeks without hearing from him, or having any workmen show up, even though we left messages with the office. At least once, they had a delay because they ordered the wrong materials. We had to repeatedly ask them to return to clean up paint spots that were in places that should have been masked off, or to re-paint walls where the old paint color still showed through in areas. The final, completed work appears to be pretty good quality, but it took a large amount of effort on our parts to get there. (The subcontractors were GREAT!! but the onsite folks from Platinum were miserable to work with, and we'd NEVER consider hiring them again for anything.)

They came out and gave me a quote and I gave them what my insurance company provided as an estimate. They didn't do what I thought they were going to do which was to sanitize the floor and wash it. This was not done and now there is mold which is affecting my health. I have to hire another company because Platinum will not come out and finish the work that was promised. They are demanding additional payment before they come out to do what they should have done already. I did pay them another $1,500 so they would return to remove some items and when they took stuff away they damaged my hallway and are refusing to fix the damage that their workers caused. When I called to tell them about it they flat out said that they will not do anything. I also lost some items that could have been saved because they did not offer to freeze dry them. I was not aware that this was an option until later because they didn't even offer it as a possibility. I lost all of my family pictures. In addition, almost a year later I was moving some boxes and I found some still full of water in them. I've had another company come out and they agreed that what had been done by Platinum Restoration had been done incorrectly.

Platinum assessed the damage to my home and worked with the insurance adjuster to ensure that all aspects were considered before the work began. Platinum worked with me to schedule the work, and my schedule is not very flexible. The process was lengthy due to the amount of work needed in my home. They walked me through the steps and provided estimated time lines for the workers to be in my home. The damage was more extensive than it appeared at first glance. The company was consistent in returning my calls and answered my many questions along the way. We had never had contractors in our home and didn't know what to expect. The process was educational and the staff at Platinum were knowledgeable and professional. I can't imagine trying to coordinate the individuals needed for each speciality area required in our situation. The engineered wood floor looks amazing and is perfectly level. The brick work on the front our home was exceptional as well. They even located bricks that were a close match and the mason did such a fine job that you can't tell where the new bricks were installed. The dry wallers were efficient and left minimal dust for a job that required a great deal of sanding and repairing. The painters were professional and the lines were clean and crisp, even around the floor to ceiling fire place. Thank you Platinum Restoration for your follow though on a job that was time consuming and difficult to schedule. We are happy with the final outcome and would recommend Platinum to anyone who is in need of a restoration company.

On January 6, 2010 at about 1 a.m. my wife and I woke up and discovered that our home was on fire. We called the fire department and ran out to see our home in flames. The next morning, nothing was left and everything was damaged. We met with numerous contractors and we learned the meaning of fire chasers. These contractors sure had some terrific deals for us and some of them offered us bribes if I gave them the contract to rebuild our home. There was one company representative that never approached us with any deals and they never pressured us into signing with them, and that was Platinum?s Mr. Wayne Hudspath. I knew right away that Platinum was the company we were going to work with. After signing with Wayne and Platinum we met with Dave Williamson and many on their crew. We were a little nervous since this was the first time we had ever been through this type of situation. Having your home taken away like this puts you in a very vulnerable position. The Platinum crew started working on our home and that is when I really became acquainted with Dave and Rob. They treated us extremely well. The Platinum crew were the nicest people we had ever met and their professionalism was impeccable. They made sure that our house was built to our satisfaction, while meeting all city codes and in a timely manner. Platinum representatives were in our home daily and made my wife and I feel very comfortable. I?ll be honest, my wife and I were very skeptical with Platinum since they were representing our insurance company. To our surprise, everything Platinum said was backed up with their actions. We learned how to trust people again. Platinum was always in contact with us on the progress of our home. Platinum is a company with integrity and empathy. Our home is the most attractive house in the City of Fairview Park thanks to the professionals at Platinum. Whenever a customer of mine is in need, they are always available to help. I specifically deal with Nicolette and regardless of day and time, she is ALWAYS available. She even helped me with my basement when I had water issues. I strongly recommend Platinum!!!!

My sump pump failed and my basement flooded with 6 inches of water. I called my insurance agent who referred Platinum Restoration. I called and they got a team out right away (within an hour to my surprise!). They assessed the damage and immediately started the job. Everyone was so helpful and very professional. I have used Platinum Restoration for many repairs. I utilized their services for a sewer backup loss at my rental property which they promptly responded to my call.. Their crew members were kind and respectful to my property as well as the tenants belongings. They went the extra mile to assure my damaged area was going to be put back to its original state prior to the loss. I could not have been more pleased ! They also replaced my gutters and corrected a roof issue with the installation of an attic fan. Most recently I called them to clean my carpets and once again was extremely pleased with their work and kindness of their crew. Platinum was great! They responded right away, almost before I could get off the phone with the insurance company, they were on-site. Scott was first on scene. He explained what was going to happen, how it would happen and how long he anticipated it taking. Even before the crew was there, he started helping me move and dry personal belongings. When Mike and others arrived, they did exactly as Scott had explained. They removed all damaged building material that was impacted and would need replaced. They pulled loose some floor coverings in hopes of saving them, others were clearly beyond saving. Cut back the drywall were needed to get air moving in hopes of not needed to do additional demo. They set up lots air movers and about 6 large dehumidifiers. It took a few days to get all the moisture levels were they wanted them, but someone was out each day to take readings and move equipment around so it was the most effective. My Adjuster was out and also comment on how well the drying was going and how she felt Platinum was doing compared to other jobs she had witnessed by other companies. I was very impressed with their operations and professionalism. I hope I never need their help again, but if I do, I won?t hesitate to call them!

Within one hour of our call to Platinum the office dispatched estimator Mike Sherba to our home to a**** the damage and comunicate back to the office his recomendations for manpower and equipment neccessary to begin Mitigation of the water damage. Mike advised us of the process and assured us that he would work with our insurance carrier according to their standards & guidlines for clean up & repair. We were told the same by our insurance agent. A three man crew arrived shortly there after & performed exactly as Mike said they would. The initial attention was given to our personal property & valuables to insure no further danage to them could occur. once our furnishings were removed & protected The crew began removing the non salvageable wet bulding materials from the house. They cleaned, sanitized & deoderized using Green disinfecting products that they claimed were safe for our family. Finally the team set up drying & dehumudifying equipment to dry out the structure. Mike explained that the eqiupment was neccesary to bring the relative humidity back into acceptable range to insure that there was no potential for mold & mildew growth. The crew leader provided us with the initial readings from there diagnostic instruments and explained where they needed to be before the equipment would be removed. The dry out of our home took three days & a technician from Platinum came to our home daily to document the drying progress. We felt confident that all of the members of Platinums team were knowlegable and well trained in the science of this line of work. All the work that was perfomed by the crew was completed exatly as Mike Said it would be. We recieved Mikes estimate to repair the structural damage the same day the equipment was removed . His estimate included carpeting, Drywall repair, Painting & trim repair and all of the allowances that we needed to make our material selections. Our insurance company sent a claims rep to a**** & review Mikes estimate and he approved the repairs that same day. We selected & Platinum ordered our new carpet which took two weeks to come in during that time Mike scheduled & made all of the other repairs. The carpet installation was the final step & we couldn't be more satisfied with the subcontractor Platinum hired to lay the carpet. The entire process took about 30 days but there was not a day that a member of this company was not in comunication with us. All appointments/meetings were kept & there were no surprises. When we recieved the settlement check from the insurance company it included our Mortgage company which took additional time to process payment To Platinum. This was no problem for them in fact they had dealt with our Mortgage company before and were able to provide us all with all the information the Mortgage company needed to Sign off on the check. Thanks to Mike, the crew & all the members at Platinum who made it so easy to get through such a difficult time. I would Highly recomend Platinum .

After a tree hit my house 9 years ago my insurance company put me in contact with Platinum Restorations. They then sub contracted out my roof replacement to another company. Since the roof was installed there has been trouble with the gutters which are leaking into the house. I can not get in contact with the contractor who did the work so I contacted Platinum to have them come out and take a look at how things need to be fixed. They have put me off for almost 2 months now, saying they will get the subcontractor to get in touch with me and investigate the problems, but I haven't heard from anyone. The last time they contacted me was at the end of October saying they would be reaching out to the subcontractor again.

Both times the work was done well and I was pleased with their service. They did excellent work and it came out to be beautiful.

They came out and removed all the "salvageable" items. Also removed 3 truck loads of items that had been dissolved in the fire. The items that they took away have been in storage ever since and have yet to be looked at. They are charging us $107 for a 5x7 storage per month. We have 2 other companies working on our dry cleaning and snow blower/ power tools. Salvageable items were 4 boxes, 2 chairs, a table, a file cabinet and 2 bikes. They have sub contracted everything else out.

Myron, the adjuster, missed his first appt. He said he just forgot. He accommodated my schedule to be at the house so I didn't have to take any more time off of work. Dave, the scheduler, was rude, obnoxious, and completely unaware of what my project entailed. I constantly had to call him to follow-up. I finally got fed up and called Wayne, the owner/manager. Ever since that call, Dave was much more responsive and on top of my job. I had to ask that a couple of workers not return to my house because they disobeyed a specific request, then denied doing so! Brian was the supervisor of my job and was beyond excellent. While at the house, he even watched over my dog who had recently had surgery. Brian is the best thing about Platinum Restoration. The communication with the office was difficult, but the work was excellent. Cleanup and workmanship were perfect.

I found both the cleaning crew and the reconstruction crew to be extremely hardworking, competent and personable. The carpet company that Platinum Restoration deals with is The Floor Show and has the same high standards. They were always prompt - plus they were flexible and had wonderful personalities. You can trust and depend on Platinum Restoration.

THE WORK DONE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE CONTRACTORS WERE PLEASANT, CONSCIENTIOUS, AND COMPETENT. THE ONE PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED CONCERNED THE SCHEDULING FOR THE CARPET CLEANING. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET THE CONTRACTOR TO RETURN CALLS. THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED SATISFACTORILY.

MOST OF WORK WAS COVERED BY INSURANCE. LISTED AMOUNT WAS WHAT MEMBER PAID FOR UPGRADES) ALL EMPLOYEES HELPFUL, POLITE AND CLEAN. CLEAN UP WAS VERY GOOD. CREW BOSS RANDY TERRIFIC. EXCELLENT WALLPAPER AND PAINTER. I WAS NOT COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THEIR HARDWOOD REFINISHER'S WORK BUT HE CAME BACK THREE TIMES TO TRY TO MAKE IT RIGHT.
