Great! Put it on in like 15 min and only charged $35.00. I thought that was a fair price! Cuz another company wanted $65.00

Call and left message and never called back. Called again the next day and talked to someone and gave my information and never was contacted. Not a real good way to run a business. Won’t be using them or recommending them.

Excellent service and price. The tech did a great job repairing the short I had in the opener. Advised me that since my unit is older I will most likely need to replace it the next time it fails.

Found out the broken spring was the wrong one so they put the correct one on, plus adjusted the things on the garage door with out us even asking. He went over and above what was expected.

What a joy it was to work with Robert. We own rentals and we are happy to give him our business. If you want a fair honest price and only fix what is wrong call Robert! My husband mistakenly let the garage down without parking the car far enough in the garage and the door hit the bumper and bent one of the panels. We called several people and everyone wanted to replace the entire garage door. There was nothing wrong with the door except there was a slight bent in one of the panels. Called Robert and he came over right away and fixed the bent panel and reinforced our garage door for a smoother open and close.

This Angie's List vendor is a gem. He came out the day after the problem started, diagnosed the problem and fixed it plus took care of some maintenance issues that we would never have picked up on our own. We feel very comfortable of having gotten the straight story in the diagnosis and a very fair price for the work done. Highly recommended and will become our garage door service person.

Very courteous and professional. I called at 730 am and he was at my house at 430 pm, which is a time I requested. Fixed everything, inspected everything and have the door an overall tune up.

At 2pm on a cold Saturday afternoon, the spring broke on the garage door. I just happened to pick Bob Maurer out of the phone and glad I did!. He gave an arrival time and was very prompt. Besides replacing the spring, he secured the track as it had loosened somewhat over the years and attached weather stripping. The company we used to call (now closed) never went the extra mile like Bob did. Friendly, on time, and reasonably priced for an emergency call. I would definitely recommend Maurer's.

While new panels may ultimately be needed, they responded very quickly to make the door workable - and at a very good price. I was very pleased.

My second garage door had been having a few problems opening last winter, occasionally requiring me to pull the rope that hangs down, to deactivate the system and open the door manually. The problem was three times as bad the first deep freeze Northeast Ohio got this year. Not looking forward to manually opening the door all winter(I know, I know but thats what door openers are for), I jumped right on Angies List and started looking for a contractor. There were quite a few contractors with A ratings in the Lorain and Cuyahoga County area, but I try very hard to hire someone local. Maurers had only one rating(A) but I decided to give them a try. The company is run by a husband and wife team, and are licensed and bonded. When the owner arrived and I jokingly told him about finding him on Angies list but with only one rating, he asked me to give him a chance to prove himself. He also explained that he was a bit of a perfectionist....which was fine by me. Prove himself he did. The door opener was installed professionally, looks good and operates well. There was absolutely NO garbage or scrap for me to pick up. I had to leave and run errands during the project, but left my significant other to pay and inspect when he was done. The job was finished promptly and again there was absolutely no cleanup left for me to do. An additional button was installed next to the walk in garage door, and as stated before, I was left with two remotes and even had my old one reprogrammed(good to have on the motorcycle when pulling in). Nice job Maurers!

Bob who installed the door opener is a qualified experienced person. Spent about (2) hrs. installing , did a very neat job running the wires for the safety reversing sensors. Nice clean up after the job was completed. Explained all parts and remotes. Also linked my 2010 car button too the door opener, works great. Remotes work way before I even get close to the house. The opener has two lights on it that come on when the door opens or you can just turn them on using the remotes. Easy to change the numbers on the outside door remote, plus its lite up at night when you push any number. totally completed. Works Great.
